The source of our knowledge is Gurudev

Wisdom flows like an ever-renewing river. One cannot step into the same water twice, yet the river itself returns. Past masters have taken the butter, but the cow—the source—remains. Feed it with love to receive fresh nourishment. The limited body is the vehicle to reach the limitless. Like an airplane's tires lift from the runway, the physical form provides support until the journey beyond begins. A crow with many techniques makes noise and falls, while a swan expands its wings and soars silently. Realization comes in its own time; the master's glance can awaken it instantly. This human life holds the entire science of divine energy within. The body's chakras resonate with sacred sounds, letters that are not symbols but divine energies residing within. These practices are essential tools, yet one must ultimately transcend them.

"They took the butter, but they didn’t eat the cow yet."

"If you want to see my flight, then please lift it up a little, sky away."

Deep Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Devādhi Deva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānjī Bhagavān, Alakapurījī Mahādeva, Satya Sanātana. Oṁ Tryambakaṁ Yajāmahe, Sugandhiṁ Puṣṭivardhanam, Urvārukamiva Bandhanān, Mṛtyormukṣīya Mā’mṛtāt. Oṁ Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Good morning to everybody. How are you? Many of you missed the very nice lecture of our dear Gulābjī Koṭārī. There was some misunderstanding, but some water of the river is flowing. We cannot wash in the same water in the river. We cannot dip twice in the same river. We dip in the river in the good water; we come out. We cannot dip in the same water again, because that water is already gone ten meters far. Similarly, this morning, like a river of wisdom, it has flowed, but it’s not gone somewhere; it comes again, yes. It is said, once I was sitting with Gurujī, our Gurujī Svāmī Madhavānandjī Mahārāj, in the Jaipur ashram. And one person came, good learned, he is a poet. But he put a question to Gurujī, and he said, "Gurujī, I would like to write some bhajans, poems, but all good words, good things. It’s taken Sūradāsa, Kabīrdāsa, Mīrābāī, Tulasīdāsa, etc. They took all the butter, and for us, it’s only buttermilk. So I don’t know what I can have. They took the butter away." Gurujī said, "Yes, that’s true, but they took the butter. They eat the butter, but they didn’t eat the cow yet. So the cow is still there, and the cow is still there." So Gurujī said, if the butter is gone, but the cow is with us still. Feed the cow with the feeder of love. And day and night, you can enjoy, take the butter, milk, and everything. So this morning, Gulābjī had some butter. It’s gone and melted, but there is very fresh milk butter again. So don’t worry, Gulābjī is with us. Thank you. There was a different program. Actually, it’s my mistake. I did not look in and say when, what time. We will do something different. Yes? Well, once more, welcome all of you, all dear bhaktas, aspirants, seekers, here and around the world who are with us through the webcast. We are here in our beautiful holy place, and we will have a beautiful time. It is said in one beautiful poem, but that I have forgotten. Does it matter? It is there still in the memory from Gurujī. And the essence of that poem, it was, I think, from Kabīrdās. And in that poem, which I will search, it is in Gurujī’s lecture I have seen a few days ago. That water which comes from the water well has no end. Because the source of the water is not a water well, but it’s coming from the ocean. Similarly, it’s not in our body, but in our knowledge, our intellect, which is in the humans, and there is the source of that wisdom given by Gurudev. It can be your school teacher, it can be your friend, your parents, and your spiritual teacher. All this together creates a beautiful, beautiful, big, big cloud. And when it begins to rain, each and every entity, every plant, and the earth, they are all nourished, which gives only positivity. It is called our life. And so, when a master speaks, then Master will not speak in that way. Dears and sisters, welcome all of you. It’s very nice to see you. That is called, we call, Vashi. It means old meal from yesterday. I’m not that one. I’m not perfect, one, but you see, I never use one piece of paper because it is speaking in us, our Gurudev, that is what we call the vivekā, the virāgya, which is the bhajan. And so, we know Gulābjī for many years. Did he bring one book, and he was looking in? I didn’t see him. He gave the book; he didn’t take the book and read it. So that is the difference. All my disciples know one right type, and then read. That is a perfect path that is endless. This body is limited, and we are limitless. But to come to the limitless, we have to walk with this limit one. We are walking on the earth. We are still not like Devpurījī, who could go in the air. Or in an airplane, we are limited, and that is limitless. But this body will remain, like when we take off the airplane on the runway and the tires are rolling on the runway. And suddenly the tires are lifting up. The tire disappears somewhere, and the flight goes away. What aeroplane said? If you want to see me fly, who said? Aeroplane. By that. If you want to see my flight, then please lift it up a little, sky away. Yes, so lift it sky up, then you will see my birds, my flight. That time, this body remains. Those wheels on the runway gave you the support, guided you till there. But then he said, "You go ahead." Oh, I remember one word. Gulābjī’s father, Gulābjīho Tatínek, said once, you know, to Kulīśjī, and we were there sitting, and we were talking about the aeroplane, and this flight was taking off, and I said, "Yes, it was a Lufthansa." So Gulābjī said, "Kulīśjī said, ’Hansa.’" He said to Svāmijī, "Hansa, that is a paramahaṅsa." And "luft" means disappeared in the sky. That is a paramahaṅsa. So "luft hansa," what a beautiful name. So it is something like that. So, similarly, if you have some depression, a little bit of sadness, husband or wife or somebody else, this is temporary. Just expand your wings, let your wings far away, so... Otherwise, there were two masters who came, Gulābjī. Two masters came, just like someone who is training something. So one master had a crow, and he said, "My crow, I trained him how he can fly, how far, and this and that." Another master, like always, Gulābjī said like this. Gulābjī said, "I also have my disciple; it’s called a swan." He said, "But my crow is the best; he can make so many, so many techniques." So he said, "Okay, then let it go." So the crow was making a little bit of sound, and then he came down. That’s a crow. Then he said that swan just expanded his wings and went. There’s no sound, smoothly. That’s called paramahaṁsa. So, those who have limited knowledge then try to make it like this. But the wise one is just taking off. Therefore, it is said, your master is talking within you. Yes, the wisdom is there. Your master will be with you till the Brahmaloka, not only on this earth. So, let our Madhuram sing this bhajan. Oṁ Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Śrī Deviśvara Mahādeva Kī Jai, Hindu Dharma Samrāṭ Śrī Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān Kī Jai, Viśva Guru Mahāmaṇḍalī Īśvara Paramahaṁsī Svāmī Īśvarānanda Purī Jī Gurudeva Kī Jai. Asa Mera Gyānī Guru Andhar Bho Ura Charanakam Allame Dayāam Allame Brahma Asa Mera Sattva Guru Asa Mera Sītā Baram Lako. Asa Mera Sattva Guru Andhra Bho, Asa Mera Gyāni Guru Andhra Bho. Brahmanandjī Mahārāj was the disciple of our Bhagavān Śrī Narendra Mahāprabhujī. We have in Leela Amrit, written here, a Bhajan book from Brahmanandji. And when Brahman, well, the story is going a different way. That is always my problem: I think and decide, "I will speak this today," and Mahāprabhujī brings the waves of the ocean and throws me somewhere else, that steering. It is not in my hands. Brahmanandjī is near Bikaner, one small village, and he learned a great deal from the Upaniṣads, Vedas, etc. And he was thinking that he is the best master. When we know many things, then of course, for an aspirant, a sādhaka, a practitioner, either he goes with the waves of the ego and falls on the rock of ignorance. If Satguru is there, then it’s something different. One day, it was the same time like this month, and he was noon resting under one tree called Khejri. The Khejari tree is very holy. In the Indian traditions, when someone dies, then we go to the crematorium, and at least a little piece of the Kejarī must be in the fire. And the leaves are very healthy. The fruits are the best vegetables and have a lot of nutrition. Etc. He was resting after working in the field, and he slept. And he saw one book in the dream, written name "Deep Vigyān Anubhav Prakāś." Deep Purī Anubhav Prakāś. In the dream, he got up, "I saw today one book in the dream, Deep Vigyān Gītā." Yeah, there are many books and many things, forgotten. After two or three years, he comes near the Pali district, near Nepal. And there was an ashram where Mahāprabhujī was living. Called Bola Guda, and three kilometers from Bola Guda is that one village called Pilamni, and his mother’s village was there. So some events were there, so he came from Bikaner to there. And these people, where he came, they were devotees of Mahāprabhujī. And so there was a book of Mahāprabhujī, Anubhav Prakāś, in some cupboard, and he saw that. He was shocked. This is my dream. How is it here? So he was telling people, and they said, "Mahāprabhujī is three kilometers far." Can we do something now? Changing subject? Yes, Gulabjī, have to come a little in the front, no, the people can’t see him. Sorry, Gulabjī, to disturb you to stand up, but please, can you come a little in the front? Nobody sees. Oh, my God, you see? Sometimes, come, come... Otherwise, always something under your teeth, and the tongue is, yes, up. Now they can see you; otherwise, you were hidden. He said, "I have seen many sādhus, but they said, ’Go.’" That is Mahāprabhujī. He said, "Should I go?" Say yes. He said, "You read in Līlāmṛt, read, it’s not my story, please." He said, "I will go and I will make tratak." Mahāprabhujī will become unconscious. They said, "No problem, come on." And Mahāprabhujī was sitting in Bholā Gūḍā, bhaktas were around him, and Mahāprabhujī was sitting as if in meditation. And this Brāhmaṇajī, his name was different, and he was standing like this for a few minutes. Then Mahāprabhujī just looked at him, and he fell down. Yes, this is what people are saying, that some people are still living. And in that way he became a little, not unconscious, but he went into some trance. And he realized what Mahāprabhujī is. So he wrote immediately. He was a great person; he could immediately make some poem or bhajan. So he got up, then he said, "Bhajan Hari," which means Vishnu. Hari Guru. In my past life, I saw him. Oh, my friends, I did not know this is my Lord. So this is called the experiences, practical experiences with the master and disciple. But don’t think that everything you will get immediately. They are who have awakened, so, for example, Paramahaṁsa Rāmakṛṣṇa, it is said that he put his hand on Vivek Purujī, and he got the Brahmajñāna realization. Now, Paramahaṁsa Rāmakṛṣṇa, he put the hand on millions of people. Why didn’t they get all? So, there is a time that comes, and in that time, that soul comes. There, the time that soul is behind the body, the body is just like a cloth that comes out. So, therefore, we have to come above these āsanas and prāṇāyāmas. But we should not give up. That is our tool. When the tool is gone, even the best surgeon cannot operate. An engineer can’t do anything if the tools are not there. So the body, our body, should be healthy, and all five elements. In our human life, we have to get realization. Otherwise, khanā, pīnā, bhogānā, paśubī, paramasuḍzān, eating, drinking, creating children, also animals can do. Oh human, if you do only this much, then what is the difference? And we don’t know. If we will come again as a human, we will come; we will not come, we don’t know. That is very hidden. We go behind one curtain; no one can see us. Mother, father, wife, husband, children, we make pūjā, funerals, we cry, we put the pictures. But when this Jīvātmā leaves this body is going with that speed, like a star falls from the sky. With that speed, we don’t know where we are going. But in the human body, everything is there. So we come to this little point. In our human body is the science, power, energies. Abilities, everything. The Kulishjī made one video long ago about Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā. It’s a beautiful song; I’ve forgotten. But in that video, there is one little story. That one ṛṣi is sitting in the Himalaya, many, many years old. Dharamraj sends a message that now is your time to come. But someone told him, "Did you read the Vedas?" He said no, so he saw the glimpse of the Vedas. Now he wants to study. It was a few hundred years. Dharmarāja again sent this person. He said, "Please, can you tell the God that till I finish my Vedas reading, will you give me time to stay here?" So again and again he comes, the messenger, and he says, "Still I want to learn." Dharmarāja said, "This time you must bring him." But the ṛṣi has the power. He can’t do anything. So he asked the ṛṣi, "How many years do you want to learn? Can you tell me?" How much do you want to learn? So that messenger said, Rishi, hold your both hands and look in the Himalaya, and wind came and some dust, fine sand, came in his palm. And Dharamrāj said, "How much is in your palm?" "Just a little." "So till now, what you have learned is this much, and what you have to learn is the whole Himalaya. How long will you do this? Therefore, please come." So when that Brahma Loka, Brahma Jñāna, then all remains behind. So God has given, maybe God or whatever it is, this body is very precious, and maybe it will not come this again. So within this is the science of the Kuṇḍalinī. And Kundalini, you know, we have our book, Hidden Powers in Humans. And now there are many, many chakras. On each and every point, what we call through the acupuncture. Where there is what we call, what they call, when you touch the point. What do you call it? Don’t talk too much. Meridian. Meridian. Wherever you touch, that is the chakra. Anyhow, now we know the Sanskrit language. And it is said the whole world, the language, mother is the Sanskrit. And the Sanskrit has its alphabet, and the alphabet, or the letters, is 52. And in English, there are only 26. Now, these letters or alphabets—someone said "alphabet" is not correct, write "the letters," and someone said not "the letters"—so they confuse me. So I put a little this side and a little that side. I use sometimes this and that. Now, do you know the name? How do we call the letters or the alphabet of Sanskrit or Hindi? What? Dev Nagrik. Now, Deva means the goddess, and Nagrik means citizen. So, these letters, this alphabet, is not a letter. It is divine energies we call goddess. Now, in the human body, God has given, with this body, these letters or alphabet called Devanāgarī. Deva is the goddess, or that energy, whatever you call it, but divine. And Nāgarīk is the citizen in this body. So, this body, in this body, her residence is our body, where our origin is here. There are letters in each chakra, Mūlādhāra, Sahasrāra. And each chakra is on a particular, each letter is in a particular chakra. And that is a resonance. Again, I tell you, because Gulabjī is sitting here in Hungary. We had a beautiful lecture under the trees. And Kulisjī was there, and we were sitting there. And one of the bhaktas, I think, our bhakta, who was this now, is Svāmī Gajānand. And this bhajan he sang, and this bhajan, what he was singing, From Sivanandjī, Mahāprabhujī’s disciple. And that bhajan is Śabdose lenā, śabdose denā, śabdose, etc., etc. The Kulīś is like very much the Śabda. And Kulījī said to me, "It will be the Śabda Vedas." And after two, three years, I see a beautiful book which had seven kilos, yeah, 13 kilos, and on it is written, "So these are our letters." That is called the resonance, each and every. Chakras, every petal there is a letter, but this is not a letter, but it is a resonance. And that, when we will see in the next program about that Kriyā, that time in the whole body, what is such a vibration? Like how Kuṇḍalinī is awakening. That is like a swan stretching its wings, and in each and every feather is that resonance. Can you imagine how beautiful it is? But God was very clever. He didn’t give humans this. Otherwise, humans would make a complete disaster in the world. So we will come back to this subject again. And the evening will be a program, so wish you all the best, and we will come to this Kriya. Everyone will get, I will serve to everybody, will get an enrichment. But now, in India, we used to say, in Hindi we say, one bhakta said to Kṛṣṇa, O Krishna, my stomach is empty; I am hungry. With hunger, I cannot meditate. I give your mala back. So, time for dinner, lunch. And I wish you very well, all the best. Śāntir bhava sarveṣāṁ maṅgalaṁ sarveṣāṁ tu lo samasta śukino narka karata śāsa tu.
