Purify your body and eat proper food

A satsang on the regenerative power of collective spiritual practice and the concept of Kāya Kalpa.

"This Kriyā Anuṣṭhāna has a regenerating function for our energy and our spirituality. It is like Kāya Kalpa."

"Kāya Kalpa means that you are like a newborn. Your hair will be its original color from birth... all the systems are very healthy and very good."

The lecturer explains the benefits of group spiritual practice (anuṣṭhāna), describing it as a mutual exchange of energy that prevents the loneliness and difficulty of solitary practice. He expands the theme into a discourse on Kāya Kalpa, or bodily regeneration, linking it to diet, natural living, and purification through practices like prānāyāma. He offers specific, Āyurveda-inspired advice on ghee, sugar, and oral hygiene, while cautioning against meat and processed foods, using anecdotes about cows and disciples to illustrate his points.

This anuṣṭhāna, what we are doing, takes two or three days to calm down again. It has been about one year. One can do it alone, but it is long and boring. And sometimes one can get different kinds of thoughts. Sometimes a lone person can become depressed. Not all, not everyone. But someone who has some tensions or stress, or family problems, colleagues' problems, etc. Therefore, it is said, 400 people is one walking stick, and 100 sticks for one person to carry is heavy. So, even if we don't speak, we are coordinating with each other. We are giving energy to each other, and we are mutually exchanging energy. So this Kriyā Anuṣṭhāna has a regenerating function for our energy and our spirituality. It is like Kāya Kalpa. It is a Sanskrit word. Kāyā means body, and our body is just from five elements. Spontaneously this morning, a beautiful yoga nidrā arose. During that yoga nidrā, we were connecting to solar energy to regenerate our whole body system—all organs, the bones, muscles, etc. This energy, which you tried to get this morning, if you do it every day, I can tell you it will be like a kāya kalpa. You see that our one sister who is working in the garden, if you look at her blood test and everything, she is one of the healthiest persons. She has a very clean mind. She has a lot of energy, very awakened and alert, so she's working in the garden with the beautiful plants. Plants are like our families, like children, and it's very pure earth work without gloves, socks, or shoes. If it's cold and very muddy, very slippery, then, of course, we have to take a different approach. We are sitting here on this meadow, and this is a piece of earth, and between this we have this big, beautiful, old tree. Now, this tree is radiating immense energy for us. And this tree gives so much energy, since we know, or we came here. Also, Guruji was here. So every day, if we count whenever we are here, per day, how many people in this park, on this meadow, are getting beautiful energy. So per day we are hundreds of people. In one week, how many? And one year, and so many years. So this energy that we have here, no one will say it's not good here. We are longing, looking forward to coming again because of Mother Nature. So in this anuṣṭhāna, what we are doing, though you are in your practicing hall, the radiance, the air, energy is everywhere. I see from my window early morning, many people are sitting here and meditating. And some are practicing āsanas, some are doing prānāyāmas, because this is a very precious place and there is a precious atmosphere. All five elements are purified. Our body needs purification and good energy. All balance the space, the space within us and outside of us. If our nose is blocked, we can't inhale. Also, if our throat is not in order, we can't properly inhale. In every part of the body, including the tissues, there is a space inside. What we call tolerance, so there are different kinds of tolerance. There is also tolerance: if somebody is not good to you, you say it doesn't matter, tolerate it. But also, our body needs tolerance. One finger, two fingers, they all have tolerance of movement. If this is stiff, you can't bend your knee or your finger. So every joint, every, this is a tolerance, so-called mechanical tolerance. And if we do not practice exercises, if we don't eat good food, then your hip joints become stiff. Your knees also, ankle joints, back, the whole body. And the calcium is getting inside, solid. Why? Because we don't eat proper food. And people who are eating meat, they have problems of the joints. Yes, and many people, their brain, they're getting lost in their memory. So, because in the brain is also what we call this calcium. Why? Why should we not practice something or change our diet? Āyurveda says eating oil is not good. You should give your body oil from the skin, massage. The most cholesterol comes from the oil, and if you eat the ghee, that kind of ghee they call the Brahmin cows' ghee, Indian cows' ghee, it is one of the best. Memory will be good, and there will be no cholesterol. Sure. Every cow is a good creature, but those cows are different. But still, it is better if you have this cow's ghee if you are taking it, but not butter. Yes, milk is okay, yogurt is okay, but not butter. You have to melt the butter. Then it will be good for your body, otherwise it will be the cholesterol. I am not a doctor, and there are many doctors sitting here. They will say, "No, no, Swamiji. It's okay, it's our Swamiji." But it is Āyurveda, and everyone says it. If you have a lot of cholesterol, though you don't eat butter, that means, don't think that if you don't eat fat, you will not have fat in the body. The body will do it. In the grass, there is no fat, but how does the cow produce the fat, the butter? It is happening in the body, so if we supply the ghee from outside by eating, then the body will not produce that fat, cholesterol, and that's why nowadays 80% of people have high blood pressure. Give up all kinds of butter and oil, very little only if you need for your vegetables, a little bit. But come to the pure ghee. In three weeks, your blood pressure will come to normal. And if you want to do good quickly, that blood pressure will come down or balance. Then, for 15 minutes, massage a cow's back, the back of the cow. Cow babies, or the cows, everywhere, yeah, like this. Yeah, because this is a cow's energy that will balance your circulation. Yes. If you can't bring your blood pressure down, go to the farmer and see if the cow is a good cow. Otherwise, she will put your blood pressure down, but the bones will be broken. That's it. So we have to come close and feel and become free and friend. So better to have little babies. So yes, in a fortnight, your allergy will disappear from the cow, not from goat, not from pig, not from sheep, no. But especially this, what we call this Indian cows. Our Swāmī Gajānand is in South India already three months, and he was always distant from the cows. Ah, they're stinking, the dung of the cows and urine. He was always away. So karma comes back. Karma brought him to the cows. Now he has to drink cow urine, get injections from cow urine, clean his eyes with cow urine and cow dung, and he likes it now. He becomes healthy, and he's also coming to the cow and putting him—I hope he will not bring a cow here, to the Strelka, because I don't want to bring the Indian cows here. We don't want them to be slaughtered. They are doing it also in India, unfortunately. But still, we are protecting them. So, it is said that you will see there are some pictures that in the body of the cow, there are many—how many goddesses are living? How many thousands of goddesses are living in the body of the cow? Now, what do we understand about the goddess? A good quality. Something very good. And so that whole cow's body, everything, her urine, her breath, everything is very, very, very good. But one thing is not good: to eat the meat of the cow, then definitely you will have a very big disease, like cancer, etc., etc. The dead part of the body is not good, but we are coming through our practice and what we call the Kāya Kalpa. Kāyā means the body. Or we have in Slovakia, in Czech, the name of the girl Kāyā. She's also very nice. I have a kāyā here, and she is singing very good bhajans. Okay. Kāyā means body. Kāyā nagar. It's called kāyā nagar. Nagar means a city. Like a big city, and that big city is in our body. So it is said in the Vedas, "Yathā Brahmāṇḍe tathā piṇḍe." Yathā Brahmāṇḍe, what is in the universe existing? That is existing in our body. And what is not in our body? Is not in the universe. So it is like a seed, and this seed has the whole quality of that tree. So in this small seed, you can carry this whole tree. It will grow. And we know that the genes of our bodies from our parents, already a few years ago, they were researching genes of the Australian Aborigines, and they found Indians, the Chinese were thinking that their genes, and then they were calling about. The British said they discovered Australia, then China presents the map of Australia before the British, but Australia... But the Chinese are very smart in making what we call imitations. In China, Yoga in Daily Life is very famous now. Our Mataji, they have brought yoga into their life, and then our few disciples and other yoga teachers, they saw Mataji was teaching yoga in their life, and they made a copyright. So it's easy. So you write 4,000 years, they just put 7,000. Anyhow, but we see that South Indians, they have ceremonies with Tilak. So they have here white color, from some kind of stone powder, here, here,... and that's exactly the origins of Australia is doing. And many words, their language, is like a South Indian. The aborigines of Australia, there are many, many, many languages. Because the land is very big. So that doesn't matter what I want to tell. Similarly, we are from that Svayambhū. The one who, "Eko'haṁ bahu syām," I am one, and now I will multiply. So everything, one in all, and all in one. So every creature has certain abilities. But humans have a lot, but that is changing according to the culture. Czech culture is different. Eating is different. When they go to Eastern countries, OK, they will like it, eating or this and that. But attitude, mentality is like a cage. And so, where we are born and grown is different. But still, all humans are one. They say the first human was in the Himalaya, now what we call the China-Tibet. The first human was there, and also they declared the science and people that there is only one human. No racism. OK, color is different, this, that. But human is human, and they have all the same power, thinking, everything. But how we are educated, in that way we are coming. So similarly, when the yogī begins to research itself, its body, then, if that person loves its body, and they would live happy, comfortable, and pleasant in this body, then they will reject the outer taste. Outer taste means ice cream, junk food. Eating hot food, then ice cream, cold, then hot coffee. So, body said, "Have you something in the brain lost?" So, those who are doing kāya kalpa, you have to reduce your diet to thirty-five. Yeah, that's it, and we eat over. Do you know, is there any day that you didn't swallow anything for about eight hours, except water? Yes, 18 hours, no more, every day. And how often do you have to chew gum in your mouth? That's it. No, if you are like this, then I am very happy with you. With one thing, not. I will ask your husband, and I will ask your daughter and son. And your neighbors, yes, yes. I'm very happy to know, 18, 18 hours, yes, maybe. Because I'm for telling you fasting, but she's taking some fruits, water, then come live with me for one week. I will test you. But it's very good, we are happy. At least one person is like that. And after 18 hours, how much do you eat? Oh, that's it. Okay, so she covers everything with one meal about every 24 hours. Okay, that's good. I'm happy for you. But still, you have problems with your joints. Yes, she can't sleep. While in meditation, she also has eternal nāda yoga. That's very good, because this is from the past. This life, what she did in her young age, but when she came to me, now it's a strict training. So, Kāya Kalpa. Now, some people are thinking and speaking, but I don't think so. I have not seen anybody. Kāya Kalpa means that you are like a newborn. You become younger. Your hair will be its original color from birth. Only, don't grow like a little baby. But all the organs, all the systems are very healthy and very good. That's called kāya kalpa. Kalpa means regenerating the body. So there are some people who also do not eat anything. And in Europe, some people are giving training that you do not need to drink and eat. So it is like that, but we should not do that. We should eat. But natural, healthy, limit, and purification of the body, that's very important. Why does cancer come? Why do some different diseases develop in the body? Because this is impurity in the body, so there are different techniques. Śaṅkha Prakṣālana, fasting. But fasting is not too long. Then again, you will become ill, maximum 24 hours. And with force, 48 hours, but enough liquid water. Some herbal water, or like some juice. But we have to purify the body, and very, very good is prāṇa. Prāṇāyāma. We are inhaling and exhaling all the time. We are cleaning the body. Can you imagine how many tissues die in the body? And that becomes impurity in the body, and the system comes to the lungs. And with the breath, we always purify. You inhale very fresh air, and you exhale and ask someone, "Can you smell my breath exhaling?" I inhaled just now fresh air, and half a second I exhale. So you will talk, yes, very good, yeah. So, how much impurity is coming from our body? Why do we have bad exhaling? Why do we have a bad taste in the mouth? This is because of impurity in the body. So what we call kāya kalpa is that with prānāyāma and taking good spices in the body, that neutralizes all these bad energies. Yes, you know that mostly in India, also after eating, they chew the, what is it called, fennel or cardamom because it is healthy. It is neutralizing and has a good smell for you and for others. And who eat meat and drink alcohol and come and talk to you, "How are you?" And you say, "Ah." That is not good energy, so purification through yoga. In Ayurveda, there is pañca karma, and in yoga, there is ṣaṭ karma. One point more. And more soup, the herbal soups, leaf vegetable soup. Thin soup. That's very, very healthy, very healthy. So it was not the fridge in the houses. People were preserving in different ways. And vegetables, which are in countries that have a hot climate, they keep all vegetables in a clay pot. It will never spoil because it's nicely dried. And that is very, very healthy. We didn't know what a cancer is. But it was cancer, but not so much. Maybe between 5,000 and 10,000, one person had cancer. And now, in 5,000, each 4,000 people have cancer. You know, you will laugh. In India, there is one train. And now the name of the train is called the Cancer Train, because so many cancer patients are going to the hospitals, and like that, from Punjab to New Delhi and Mumbai and so on. You can look now in your computer, it's called the Cancer Train. And there's a call also, "Yoga Train." Do you know that? Yes. So the cancer train, please look it up; I'm not making a joke. Now, we will become the cancer airplane. So it is like that. Kāya kalpa is through our anuṣṭhāna. Our anuṣṭhāna is very, very powerful. It cleans everything. Body, our thoughts, our mind. That's it. So Anuṣṭhāna is very good. Kāya Kalpa is very good. The yoga nidrā which we did was very good. And I will tell you that you have a golden chance to do something for 20 minutes or half an hour in this area. Please don't go all in my garden. There is no space, but ask J. Davis. He will ask, "What can you do?" Or, "This garden?" Otherwise, walk part foot. Our meadow, our spot is very pure. There are no chemicals. You can take the earth and with your finger brush your teeth. Very, very good. Yeah, take from one corner, from somewhere on earth. Little water, make paste, and then make it clean. You will have such a good smell in your mouth and be so nicely cleaned. This toothpaste came about 80 years ago. There was a different kind of pest. All farmers, and all, they were using different things, also, as from the fire. So, come back to this: the tooth pest have destroyed. But you know, how many people have problems with teeth? Every single tooth is sick. Then why are we using so much paste to the paste? That is good, and that's good, and that's good. Why are 90% of people's teeth not good? Yeah, recently someone told me, who is very old, and said, "No, no, I don't go to the doctors, and only two teeth are out of my body; some are in my mouth." Who was it? Who was it? It was a female. I'm sure I did not dream. Yeah, really. This was a person, an old person, so all this count of the past is not best. You should take some herbs, make some ash of these good, dry trees, and that is good. Or what they call this from the eggplants, the vegetable. Long times, it was acrobatic. And acrobatic, they were using this from the eggs of the eggplants. And very good, it was very good. Parodonts who had the godly reed, or better is that a few minutes keep oil in your mouth and then you spit it. All bacteria die. So in a few minutes, oil in your mouth can kill the bacteria. If it is a few hours, the oil in your mouth is in the stomach, but it makes things a little oily. Ghee is the best, and eat sugar. As much as you reduce the sugar, you will have problems. But not too much, so give the fat and the sugar we need. But not this white sugar, the tan sugar. So, come again to the natural way. We will be very healthy. Try, try, it is your life. Yes, you will lose some kilos because that was not healthy. And you will recover that energy back, but better and stronger. So Kāya Kalpa, through this our anuṣṭhāna, and today we did yoga nidrā, and we will continue. And then we will continue.
