Karma and liberation

The grandparents of the forest teach us about karma and the world's balance. Vegetation is essential for life, and ancient trees are loving grandparents. Good karma from non-violence leads to Svarga Loka, a temporary heaven. Bad karma from harming creatures leads to Naraka Loka. Liberation comes only through the guru's grace. Human actions are destroying the earth's equilibrium. Digging for resources creates hollow spaces and allows water in, making the planet unstable. This invites cataclysm where all will be lost. Spiritual people may depart beforehand. One must cease harming all creatures, including animals, and live with prayer and non-violence to alter this course.

"Good karma that you didn’t eat meat, you didn’t kill any animals, you didn’t kill any humans. Then you come to the heaven."

"Eating meat, you have to pay back. That’s it."

Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya! Oṁ Namaḥ Śivāya!... Om Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Śivāya, Om Hare Hare Bhava Om Namah Śivāya, Om Hare Hare Bhava Om Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Śivāya,... Om Hare Hare Bhava Om Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Śivāya,... Om hara hara bhava Śivāyī, Om hara hara bhava Śivāyī, Om nama Śivāyī, Om nama Śivāyī... Om nama Śivāy. Mahādeva Kī Jai, Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān Kī Jai, Satguru Svāmī Madhvarānjī Bhagavān Kī Jai, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jai. We are sitting here in the lap of the Divine Mother Forest, nature. We cannot imagine life without vegetation on this planet. These beautiful trees, which are very, very old, are like our grandparents. And grandparents love more than the parents. We say we don’t love our capital, but we love our interests. Now, the Europeans are unhappy. The euro doesn’t give you any interest. And very soon, they will ask you for giving interest, because you are taking care of your money. The bank will say, "Why should I give you money? You are depositing, and I am taking care of your money. So you have to pay something." I hope nobody is listening; the bank people know what I’m talking about. They will say, "Oh, Swāmījī, thank you." There was one little village, and there was one little confused person. I don’t want to say it was a man or a woman. If I say man, the man will be offended. If I say it was a woman, then also the woman will say something. So, for protection, I say only one person. That village was about 100 houses, or a little less, and that person was making so many distractions, what we call vandalism. But the Vandal people were very nice; they were so kind and they were good people. I don’t know why we say "the Vandal," but we will research again. So the person was making so many things. One person said, "You crazy man, person. I hope you will not burn our villages," and the person said, "Thank you for reminding me of something like that. Tomorrow, we will have many, many fire brigades. I will make the fire in the village." And so it is, sometimes certain things we should not talk about. But this is not my idea. It is someone, an Austrian, who was telling. Who spoke about it? There, I can say. It was from a female, but not my disciple, yeah? Someone else. So we have to be again very alert, careful. That was the time of the Soviet Union. People were very disciplined; they didn’t want to tell anything. And now they are completely open, and they will be in trouble. So, anyhow, we said the grandparents love our children. And grandparents are so happy, more than parents. Of course, parents are happy. So, maybe some people are mentally not in order, so they don’t love their grandchildren. According to the karma, according to the karmic of what we call the Pitṛloka. The Pitṛs are ancestors who passed away. Now, these ancestors, their soul is stuck in one level of the universe. In the Christian religion, they speak of two places, heaven or hell. Heaven means you are ever there, and hell is ever suffering. We call them Svarga Loka and Naraka Loka. Svarga Loka is going to the Svarga, like you said, heaven. But the difference between the sanātana dharmas and these dharmas is that the heaven is limited, not forever. So the karma, good karma—it’s good karma that you came to the heaven. Good karma that you didn’t eat meat, you didn’t kill any animals, you didn’t kill any humans. Then you come to the heaven, because it is said, "Thou shalt not kill," and "thou shalt not kill" means any creatures. It didn’t say that, "Don’t kill the humans." Maybe they will add now, but therefore. God or Jesus said, "Thou shalt not kill," and, "Don’t eat that which has eyes, so that they may come to what you call heaven." Others will definitely go to the Naraka Loka because, you know, even we—not we, not me, not you—but many people, even they kill the living little babies in the womb of the animal mother. They begin to kill the egg, the little kitten, and the big chicken. It is a life we are killing, the life. So it doesn’t matter if it’s the chickens, the animals, the fish, etc. It will be counted, but there is a written rule: if there is nothing to eat, no vegetation, no fruits, nothing, no milk, then you can eat meat to survive as a human life. But that is not now. Even in the North Pole, there are already fruits and everything. So, who comes to the heaven? Svarga Loka, they have good, good karma, and they enjoy. Then they are not ill. They are like ever young, everything. But when this karma—karma is already finished, you have one glass of water. So you may drink just like one sip, or all at once. When one, then there is nothing. Empty. So it means you have no more karma. Now you have to go back, and at that time, it is said to those who are in the Svargaloka, in heaven, they are called devas. Devas, devis. So the devas said, "O Lord, O God, when my karmas are completed in this Svarga Loka, please send me again as a human, that I will do those karmas good, that I will have, I can meet the saint, holy people, master. Then we can come to the mokṣa." Therefore, it is said that dhyāna mūlaṁ guru mūrti, pūjā mūlaṁ guru pādam, mantra mūlaṁ guru vākyaṁ, mokṣa mūlaṁ guru kṛpā. Mokṣa, liberation, comes through the blessings of the guru. When all your documents are cleared up, and your country’s president declares your documents, then the president will say, "Now you are free, you can go." So finally, the president is that Gurudev. So it means we have neither bad karma nor good. Because good karma is only good karma, only good karma you donate to others. Otherwise, your karma is hanging somewhere else. So when you have so much money, then before you die, give it donations for the schools, for the cancer hospital, children’s hospitals, old hospitals, poor hospitals, poor people’s, like this. Yes? And then nothing is there. Then you are in Brahmaloka. Yes, there is nothing, and nobody wants to have you because you have nothing. So we are in the Brahmaloka. Therefore, the karma that we have to work, the Svargaloka has fewer people, and the Nārakaloka is like sand and dust on the whole earth. Diamonds are somewhere, and you are the diamonds here. Because our grandparents of these trees, they smile, they love, and we feel in the lap of the grandparents so happy here under these trees. So even the vegetation loves us, and we should love it. So in this way, our sādhanā, under such beautiful trees, is positive. It’s very loving, and the good shadow, good air, oxygen, we enjoy this. They are giving and giving. What are we giving the tree? That’s it. So nature is very, very important. So now, there is one question. And this question is that my battery is low. So, always people ask the question: what was the first? Bird or egg? Or baby or mother. And you have a question. But I give you now final judgment. That’s okay. And you should know, if someone asks you a question, "Who was the first?" And that was called Svayambhū Śiva, okay? The answer is, the question is answered, because it is Śiva who said, "Eko’haṁ bahusyām: I am one, and now I will multiply." He had no mother and no father. But now he sees his creation, and he made it independent. He said, "I give you once, and you have freedom." And so it began, this principle: Ātmā, the soul, is the same. But the body is different, so there is then coming through. It’s not that quickly humans were there. It was grass, seeds, etc., and now it is like this, unfortunately. Human beings, we try very hard to destroy this life. Human beings, we try very hard to destroy this life. It is called completely destroyed. Everything is finished. It is called pṛthipada. All finished. And about one month ago, I had these visions and these thoughts. Reality. So I am not a scientist, but even the scientists will go under. So this is the earth. It’s round, but I can tell this. This is our earth, and the rest, all is water. Up is water, down is water, everywhere is water. And this earth, the earth is balanced in the water. And this is here, and here is the water. But at any time, this can go down. A hurricane will come. Or tsunami. Very soon, it will be soon. Tsunami means soon, so it will be like that. But there is heavy earth on the mountain. Now, what we humans are doing first is that we are digging and digging, and drilling and drilling for petrol. If we think how much oil is going out, it’s like nearly Danube water. All billions of the cars, how much petrol is burned. So as much as they suck the oil, it comes watering. So we are supporting that water will be more in the earth. Now we are digging many, many mines. The coal mines, gold mines, silver mines, many, many different kinds of things we are digging. Again, the earth is getting empty. Now we are breaking, digging the mountains. Because we have made so many highways and unnecessarily so many buildings. Some people have a few apartments, a few houses, so we are constructing all this material. Okay, it is on the earth, but where there is this balance, it is going away. And then, with mountains, we are destroying and digging the many, many mines. One day, this earth will crack. And the tsunami will come on the earth soon. With this, everything will go down. Your house, your forest, your money, your children—your child is there, 10 meters far, you can’t save the child also. Or we are sinking in the water. The aeroplane is up, but how many hours will they run? Fly, it will again fall into the ocean. Is it coming, this pralaya? That’s called pralaya, and very soon, then we don’t know ages and ages when the Svayambhū again will. What kind of new world or creation will he create? Only the water life will remain. But others, we are sharks, we can’t eat all. Yeah, that’s it. Somewhere you can’t see, treasures are here, monies are here, jewelries are here. It has no value, and that is written in one bhajan of Maṅgīlālji, where he is writing what will happen in this pralaya. So he said, before pralaya will come, all those who are spiritual and have no sin, they will die a little earlier, but they will go to the Brahmaloka. Rest all, resting in the ocean. Even the Himalayas will again sink down. That’s it. So we should pray. We are praying. That it should not happen. We pray to the Lord Śiva. But humans are now so cruel that they are chopping animals like grass and destroying nature, mountains, and everything. And pollution in the ocean. So this is a very... And after three or four days, I had a dream. So I said, no, Mahāprabhujī, it’s not true. But it is. So it will happen. It’s Kali Yuga. So we don’t know when the Satya Yoga will come again, but all Bhaktas, all good people—they will... Good people means not those who don’t eat meat, that’s it. Unfortunately, be prayer, be prayer. So we shall meditate, pray, do good, be good to all creatures. If somebody would come and now cut your neck, what would happen? Or just holding you and cutting your stomach. That is what they are doing. Can you imagine crying? But animals also cry. So let’s come to a good way and pray for all. Eating meat, you have to pay back. That’s it. Well, I wish you all the best. Evening we will have a program again, and I wish you a very good appetite. Hari Om Shri Deep Nayan Bhagwan, Deveśwar Mahādeva kī Jai, Satya Sanātan Dharma kī Jai, Om Śānti, Śānti, Śānti.
