Bhajans from Khatu

Here is the truth of true fortune.

Saints and great beings have come and gone, like Kabīr Sāhib placing a foot on a disciple’s head to remind of mortality. Their words instruct the mind on right action. A fortunate person is one who experiences the saint’s darśan and satsaṅg. There is one great fortunate person among many. Worldly life is filled with evil; give it the name Rāma. True wealth is the jewel of the Name, the inexhaustible wealth of the mind. Material possessions are impermanent like water. Happiness and sorrow are entirely self-created. The mind mistakes comforts for happiness, but a mahāpuruṣa knows real happiness lies beyond. Three karmas bind beings: pralabdh, sanchit, and kriyamāṇ. Subh and asubh karmas must be understood; asubh karma is removed by wisdom. The Sadguru is compared to a lotus and a bumblebee. The bumblebee takes the lotus fragrance and becomes absorbed, never leaving. Without the guru, none can cross the ocean of existence. Wisdom comes from Gurujī. Glorify Sadgurūjī, for through him one attains liberation.

"Gurūṁsa binā kaun pare mujal pāve?"

"In the darśan of Gurudevjī, I have obtained the jewel of the Name, the wealth."

Filming location: Khatu, Rajasthan, India

Some time ago, you, the Mātā Puruṣār Mukarbandās, you all said: in this world, who is happy? “I am happy, I am happy.” And in this world, I have seen all the saints and great souls. The accumulated merit of countless lifetimes, that is good merit. But now, how many saints and great beings have come and gone? Remember the divine Sadguru Kabīr Sāhab. Remember the divine. Then, placing a foot on the disciple’s head, in the mortal realm, who has forgotten God? Kabīr Sāhib to 60 sāl rī bāt rī yād karein, apan ae gantārī bhūl ga jī. Man āyā, saṅgat vāt er āt āyīn, bhūl ga jan bo dīn yād apan khad āyī bholo. That is why the words of saints and great beings, in the darśan of Gurū Dev Jī, are just so. They come to make the saṅgat understand, to instruct the mind: act in this way, do not act in that way. And in my heart, there is so much feeling, so much love—when will His darśan be, and when will He grant satsaṅg, and when will He inspire bhajan? So what are the saints and great beings? Udhar mahāpuruṣāre mukar bandhusun, āp sarvān kartā. What a fortunate person he is, the one who experiences the darśana of a saint and partakes of satsaṅga. Gurujī says that one is a lucky man and the other is a lucky person. Many people are lucky, many families are lucky, many lands are lucky, many sons are lucky. Oh, Babu, you are lucky. Where are the sons? There are nine sons. And where are the cars? There are no lands, no cars, no stable. And Saint Mahātma says that in this world, there is one who is very fortunate, and everything is considered to be good. He has been told that he is very fortunate in Kali Śāstra. Did I tell you? Only the fortunate person is such a great person. And the saint says that there is only one great, fortunate person. There is a promotion for the fortunate person. So, where is the great fortunate person? One fortunate person, one great fortunate person, and one unfortunate person. Did you understand? So the saint says that if you are fortunate, then you should be blessed with wealth. Lekin aaj inne satsaṅg mein inne mahāpuruṣoṁ ke dham-phar āyā ho. And the life of this world, you have seen the evil in it. Give the name Rāma to this worldly life. This is true love. The true master says, “In the darśan of Gurudevjī, I have obtained the jewel of the Name, the wealth. I have obtained the wealth of the mind, the inexhaustible wealth. I have obtained the most precious thing.” Smell the things that are there somewhere. These things are not mine. I have things in my house and outside. These things are water. Hey, without weight, don’t think about it. I don’t have 20 liters of water in my body. So, half an hour, two hours, they are also there. They have been there for three days. In the house, the words, the outside words, the words go to the water. These words will never be wrong. In the end, they will be read. Jhamari Lata, did you understand? If you see the Jhamari from the fire, the Jhamari is very wrong. Aizhām Toh Baṅdo Kedhā Kahi Hai, Aizhām Toh Dekho Khun Dekho Thā Hameshā Tolriyo Kitvār Lavo The Phons Phons Kyun? In this world, there is no end to happiness; and in this world, there is no end to sorrow. Whatever happiness one receives, one has created it entirely by oneself; and whatever sorrow one receives, one has created it entirely by oneself. Purī jī kari odo hai, Cāru Mer. Bankan Pariyen, ATM Card, Haglaān Panaio Odo Hai. The mind considers these to be happiness, but why would a mahāpuruṣa consider mere comforts to be real happiness? Ātāra Purāṇa, bāta miliye doī, hagalāna tantolatāna tantolatāna, ke kahī, ke sukha diyā, sukha ho tehare, dukha diyā khoī sajanā. That is why Maa Purush says, “Kumpara nir kishvid shoke seer sayer mayu aave.” Sant Maa Purush says: Maa Purush has told us about three types of karmas in Bani: pralabdh, sanchit, and kriyamāṇ. “Karmari jajan do pargajan, subh asubh kevaave. Asubh karmaane door ataavo sudhbudhi.” Ghatme laao guransha pena konparem janpaave. Sadguru mera, sant maaprushan ka pushabh swaroopi. Why is the mahāpuruṣa compared to a lotus and to a bumblebee? The great being says: ke sadguru mera bhavar swaroopi keet pakad garalave de gannato sabd sonave hoi bhavar udjaave. Guram bina kon pare mujal pave. The revered one says, just as Mīrā Vaidina spoke: nirkoṇ Sadguru Jīrū rūp Pūsābārī Kalyāṇ. Sadguru mera pūṣab svarūpī, bhavar vāsanā leve. Laptyā bhavar hoyā maganmāī. And he never leaves the lotus. Aur ve jarā chodh nahī̃ jāve, gurū̃sa binā kaun pare mujal pāve? Who can cross over? Kaun parā nīr kisvid soke ve sīr sayer mayū āve? Then the great being states: dūd mayū gīrat mehndīr mayū lālī. And wisdom comes from Gurujī. O Kabīra, suno santon ke charaṇon śīṣa nivāve, gurūṁsa bina kaun pare mujala pāve? Kumbhāraneera kiśhvidh śhokāve, śīra sayera māyū āve. Speak the glory of Sadgurūjī Mahārāj! So today it is the eighth day, the Kumbhāro Melo is happening, and in the Kumbhāro Melā, there is a sacred place. Māt Beto Rejanā, Lāṛdhā Hiśinān Kānā Kare. So many great saints and mahāpuruṣas have come to this encampment; they have come to give the great souls a moment of rest. Sat sāhib bhol, Jai Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagvān. Many, many thanks.
