Wrong education leads to wrong actions

Spirituality teaches living joyfully in the present moment, free from worry over the past or future. A universal peace prayer is essential, responding to global violence that stems from wrong education and inner conflict, not the pure soul. The soul is singular and divine, like water in different forms. Judgment belongs only to the divine; human duty is forgiveness, care for family, and prayer for all beings who suffer, without national distinction. True holiness is found in serving one's parents. Inner purification requires releasing negative thoughts and the illusion of personal greatness.

"Yesterday is gone, so you cannot worry about yesterday, and tomorrow we do not know what it will bring. So, enjoy today."

"There are two kinds of war: inner war and outer war."

I am very, very happy to see you all and Swāmījī. I am very, very lucky that Swāmījī came to New Zealand in 1992. From there, Swāmījī took me to Ehakuru in India. Ever since then, I met Ehakuru in India in 1992, because that was the year I was told to go to India. And ever since then, Samantradīkṣā for Mahāgurujī, my life is joy, happiness, and Ānanda here. Spirituality is so great that it teaches you to live with the moment, or a day, whatever it brings to you—be happy and enjoy. Yesterday is gone, so you cannot worry about yesterday, and tomorrow we do not know what it will bring. So, enjoy today. That is a teaching from Gurujī, and ever since then, I have no worry. Whatever life brings to me, I am enjoying, Master. I hope we all follow the same and enjoy our life. Thank you. Thank you, Māṭājī. It is so true. I met Swāmījī, I think, 21 years ago when Nana had organized a lecture of His Holiness in Karnataka, I think, in the St. John’s Church. He Kevalam, He Kevalam. He is my inspiration, and he is also an inspiration for everybody. When he was in Australia, he said, "Naginbhai, we must have an all-nations peace prayer." I said, "Sure." As you know, forty soldiers died in India, and now it has cooled down. We decided to have a prayer for their families and friends, and also for other people who died, to have peace in the world. That is what you get every year tonight from Swāmījī, seven, eight chakras. One of the top chakras and the grander chakra, when you open it, that is the time you get that kind of message to do something for others and not just for yourself. So I said, "Yeah, sure." We had a very positive response from everybody. Though many people come because of the changes of time and weather and so on, their thoughts are here. After having peace, today’s seminar in Parliament was very successful. Today and tonight, we are fortunate to have His Holiness Swāmī Maheśvarānandajī Śrī Śrī... The first one is to lead us in the ordination prayer, the peace prayer. The second one, straight after that, is on the chakras and kuṇḍalinī, which is a subject that you all want to hear from Swāmījī, which I have learned a lot about in the last three days, and today will be a really good one. But I must say, today I was with Swāmījī, and I was in Yoga Nidrā, and I saw two people. One was Bhadranā in a Jesus form and Swāmījī in Krishna’s form. I said, what a magical experience to have those two personalities coming into my mind for peace. Swāmījī, we request you, on behalf of Yoga and Daily Life and your Mahatma Gandhi Commercial Committee of New Zealand, to address us on both topics. Thank you. I think it was this, Kanti Bhai? I am a listener. I request Kanti Bhai to speak. Kanti Bhai is a Justice of the Peace and a Prince of the Medal Holder, and he is a community worker, and he has been supporting... He is my... You got so many awards, you know. So I met Swāmījī a few years ago through Naginbhai, and I led the chat with Swāmījī for some time. I still come and see Swāmījī when he comes here, always. He always talks about peace. Today, if we ever look in the world, what is happening? We are human beings. Animals are better than us. We are killing each other. We are killing innocent boys, innocent kids, innocent people. Look at them. What are we doing? Look at our leaders. What are they doing for us? Nothing. They just talk. They talk. Peace, peace, peace. They got peace from here, not from there. So, today Swāmījī will talk about peace, and we should do something about it. Hari Om. Today will also be our senior sanyāsī here, Lakṣmaṇ Purī. He is from New Zealand, the real New Zealand, and is a teacher from long, long, many years. I met him in 1980, and before that, I was also in Australia in 1978. So, Swāmī Lakṣman Purījī, yes, about peace. People, it is not really even considered a priority to bring peace into their own lives. I see that the world is often ruled by people whose objectives are quite different. They are trying to make themselves rich, or they are trying to make people chase money because then they get rich. First of all, my dear sisters and brothers, this occasion, why I call here, is around the whole world, not only here. Like in New York, the Twin Towers were attacked, and many people died, and after that, too. We had, around the world with yoga and daily life, peace prayers at the ocean, in the forest, in cities, in temples, mosques, etc. It happens from this lot in Afghanistan and in other Middle East. Always, we pray for all people, for innocent people, children, and even for those we call terrorists or something like this. Their education was in that way, but they are all innocent. The soul did not force them to do it. It was only that education. Now, recently, innocent soldiers, about 40 or 42 or more, were killed on the border between India and Pakistan. And then it is, where there is action, there is a reaction. So many people died, and for that, wherever it happened in any part of the world, we want to pray to Almighty God to forgive them and grant them eternal peace. So first we say for one minute, prayer in your language, in your thoughts, from your heart and your intellect, just with closed eyes. Pray for the souls of all these people and their families, children, the lost parents, the wives, the mothers, the parents, etc. We pray for them. It happened in India or in Pakistan or anywhere. Please, we pray for that with humbleness. Om Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Peace, peace, peace. Our adoration to our spiritual lineage, which begins from the Satyugas with Śiva, Alakhpurījī. Continue with that river, Alaknanda, and our Devpurījī, who stayed in the Himalayas, about 5,000 meters in height in his cave, and Alakhpurījī met him in his astral body. We were searching, and in 13 years, one of my disciples, Dr. Shantiji was traveling for 13 years in the Himalayas to search for Alakhpurījī and Devpurījī. We found it. I was in that cave, and many bhaktas were there. After our Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī, the very great, very, very great, very humble, very kind, He could also give life to dead people. The parents are still alive to whom Mahāprabhujī gave life. Recently, in Kelas Ashram of Devpurījī, where I was, about three weeks ago, in the Ashram, when I go, people come, and there came one woman, she was about the age of 85 or something. I asked her, and she said she does not know, but I know she said. And her parents and all, she said that she died. They were taking her to the funeral. And Devpurījī came and said, "Don’t call, don’t make this person for the funeral. Bring it here, and give one leaf of the neem tree." And he gave the neem leaves in the mouth of this girl, and she awoke. She came there to see me, and then what she told in her village language made me very happy to see her. Om Purījī, she heard, she made a photo, a film we have with us now. The village people were sitting, they said, "Yes, this is that Devpurījī gave life to this girl." Another, there is one man who passed away three years ago. Also, Devpurījī gave life. The round Khattus, also Devpurījī gave. And these people who met with me, and now I met again near Khattu. Devpurījī was living under just one bush tree. And still now, they said when they have problems, they just pray to him, and their wish comes true, many things. So Mahāprabhujī’s, our Holy Gurujī’s, many, many,... many miracles, and our Māṭājī was just talking about Holy Gurujī’s, what he... So, there are miracles, which means the blessing. The blessing has a power, and even if we bless a sinner, they will become free. They will. Now, innocent people, it is an education, and wrong education will do the wrong things. The soul which has achieved the human body will now go again deep into the other soul, the body. We think that we are very pure, but we are not. There are many, there are so many doubts. And the thing is, I can tell myself, "I will not tell about you." But if I said that I am very holy, I look down. Because until the whole life, the whole life, the last minutes will be a liberation. And thanks to God that you do not get that self-realization as long as your life, because Māṭājī was saying that yesterday is gone, today we should be here, we do not know what will happen tomorrow. So, if we declare ourselves that we are the Divine, Holy, and Liberated One, tomorrow will be something. You promised, and the next day you will go in another direction. I know myself, millions of people, not thousands. Many events come through me, and they are all in peace and harmony. But there are also many. Today is coming and falling at my feet, and the next day is coming with a gun. Guṇa means inside. The real guṇa, it just makes advance and the finished. But which are the negative thoughts? In that, one is torturing oneself. You are thinking I am good, and this and that. I am happy. I am very good. I can do everything. He is or she is bad. When you say he or she is bad, thanks to God, these are not bad. That one who is thinking is within purification. Therefore, what is happening in the world, we cannot pray only for one country. We pray for all. We pray for all, and there are only a few people in the world. Others are also innocent and divine souls, but who is doing? They think that I am great, but they are not great. Jealousy, hate, conflict, and hidden negative thoughts. And they go to that war. There are two kinds of war: inner war and outer war. And so, look how many neighbors of the neighbors of the neighbors. Humans have become not good because they did not get education. Your mother will never say, "My child, be good and be strong, and this and kill them." A mother will not say. And the father will also say, "My child, be good, be brave, be a good person, study, and do something good for our house, our village, our country, and the whole world." Because your country and my country are only our ignorance. God did not divide the land. God did not divide this Wellington. And God did not divide this room, house, and other house. All is in one. One in all and all in one. So we said, "God, forgive them." God, forgive. Did you forgive something? With your heart. Give your hand on your heart and ask, did you forgive? And if you forgive, and I will tell you, you did not forgive. So, this is a sin that you just put the heart here. And if, then you are a completely different person. You are very young. It will come again. So prayer is the best. Prayer is best. Like Gandhījī’s favorite song. Sītā Rām bhajit dethum Sītā Rām, Raghupati Rāghava Rājā Rāghu, Pati. Rāghu is Bhagavān Rām. So Raghupati, O Lord, You are that. Patit means also one who is a sinner, who has done so many mistakes. But you cannot. You cannot open. We have problems to go deep and say, "Yes, I am." I am the pure, and this and that, no? But Pātīt Pāvan Sītārām. But Sītā and Bhagavān Rāma, they can take sin. Ek pātit ko Bhagavān pyār kar saktā hai. Pātit. So, where to begin? What mother, what father gave you the education? What education did your mother give to your children? What education did your mother give to the neighbor’s children? What have you all? That is it. You will not forget. If you have done something to your father or your mother, you will not forgive. Or if you have a mother, and you have not taken care of these children or your husband, or husband to wife, you will not forget. Or we will forgive, but we will not forget. We will not forget. We forgive, okay. But because our inner joy, our words, I am looking for my happiness, for my desires, for my... I will pull everything out, and I can go. There is one story I have to tell you today, but today is the prayer, and I am so sorry for these people. They are little children, still crying, "Father, father." And small children, when father will come, why, why, mother, father, small children. Yes. And children are children, even if they are 80 years old, your children are still children. So, do you love your children? Do you take care of your children? Do you take care of your parents? Do you take care of your elderly parents? The most holiest, holiest pilgrim, I want to tell you, where is the most holiest pilgrim place? And that is when your parents are old, they are lying in the bed, and now you take care of them. That is a holy place. That is. Your mother is the holiest and holiest mother, same like the mother of Jesus. And the father is that, he is your father. And now he gave you, mother gave you, and now it is our duty. Our brothers are our brothers. We do not count the borders of this country and that country, and this village and that village, and this house and my house and your house, and this is good and that is bad. Who are you to judge someone? Who are you to judge? The judgment we cannot give. Only Dharmarāja. Only that God can give. Otherwise, we give our judgment. On that side, where is our selfishness? Where is our interest? So, if we can forgive and pray for the peace of those souls on the border between India and Afghanistan, then, after the Indian side, they were also with weapons and so on, so I pray for both sides, both sides, because their children are also crying, their wives... Is crying, day and night the tears are fought. So that is why I call in the world, "Lord, it should not happen again." And what did happen? Please forgive them because their soul is a pure soul. But their education, that education, or what we call the society, with which kind of people you are there, you are the best of the best, your friend. When you are in a negative state, you are ready to kill the person who is your best friend. Why? Because this is called saṅgha, kushaṅga, and satsaṅga. Kushaṅga is with bad society, and satsaṅg is like this; all of you are like this in peace. I feel in my heart, and I do feel that in your heart you have such purity, such purity, and do not judge anyone. If you are judging, your judgment will be there. And there he will say, "You are just wrong, you go that side." There is only one soul. There is only one soul. Like the water. It is only water. Maybe this water is in the canalization, or this water is in the forest, or the water is in the creek, or in the clouds. But water is water. Similarly, our soul, or the soul of a fish, or the soul of other creatures, is only one that loves them, feeds them, and does not eat them. That is it. So, I would wish that before going to sleep, you think and once more send your blessing for those people who die, constantly, who are dying, and not only humans. Who is making this peace for the millions of cows? Millions of cows per day, and then the chickens per day, and fish per day. How many? Who will take this? But still we will pray. It does not matter what happens, we pray. I tell my disciples, if you are thinking negatively of me, it does not matter, you are in my heart. When once I put my hand on it, it will be on it. It will be on; always, it will be. Because this is the, it is said, you gave the word, you gave your word, and now your word will never go away. It will be, if negative or positive, you gave the word. That is the human quality. That is the human. Yes? In this way, again, once more, my dear ones, we all pray for this other who died, who suffered, who is suffering, and for their children, for their parents, their friends, their partners, we pray for them. Oṃ Vāsato Mā Satgamaya Tamaso Mā Jyotirgamaya Mṛtyormā Amṛtaṃgamaya Sarveśaṃ Svasti Bhavatu Sarveśaṃ Śānti Bhavatu Sarveṣāṃ Maṅgalam Bhavatu, Sarveṣāṃ Pūrṇam Bhavatu. Om Śānti Śānti... Hari Om. Thank you, Vishwagurujī. Such an enlightening and such an inspirational prayer for those who died on all sides of the world in a war, not just recent wars, but also previous wars. And we pray today that all the leaders, all of you, will pray that it will not happen again. You carry the message of peace, you carry the message of love, respect, truth, non-violence, cooperation, and hard work. Today is our first day of beginning to have peace in the world. And let us pray and say Om three times, that from tomorrow, the world will be more peaceful, with less war, more respect, and more of Allah. Thank you all, thank you all. Now, I request Vishwagurujī to address and enlighten us on chakras and kuṇḍalinī as part of our normal program of yoga and daily life. Swāmījī, praṇām. Introverts, thoughts, let it come to the extrovert world. See your whole world, from you to your children to your house, all as thyself. Rub your palms and place them on your face. Open your eyes, bend forward, touch your hands on the ground, and bend your head as far as you can. Feel the circulation towards the head, brain, face muscles, eyes, neck, etc. And slowly raise your head up, and then your hands. Oṁ Śānti.
