Evening Satsang from Strilky

Human life is a rare opportunity for spiritual progress. This retreat offers time for purification through yoga practice. Spirituality is one essence, though cultures differ. God is understood both with form and as formless space; both are valid. Human birth allows experience and relationship. The desire for Brahmaloka is often a misunderstanding; it is not a distant void but the knowledge within. True joy is found in conscious earthly life, connection, and non-violence. The chakras within are the real realms. Practice yoga, cherish human bonds, and harm no creature.

"Please God, don’t send me anywhere. I want to be in this beautiful world, the Mother Earth."

"That our Brahmaloka is there, when we will be completely pure, not killing animals for your eating."

Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Oṁ Namaḥ Śrī Prabhu Dīpa Nārāyaṇa. Haṁsabhādāsa Prabhu Śaraṇaparāyaṇam. Haṁsabhādāsa Prabhu Śaraṇaparāyaṇam. Oṁ Namaḥ Śrī Prabhu Dīpadarādi Asabdhās Prabhu Śaraṇam. Asabdhās Prabhu Śaraṇam Parāyaṇam. Asabdhās prabhu śaraṇam parāyaṇam. Asabdhās prabhu śaraṇam parāyaṇam. I see someone is here too. So, first of all, I welcome all of you—all our dear sisters and brothers and very loving children. We are very happy to have all our guru brothers and sisters here. You are all delegates of Yoga in Daily Life from many different countries, and we have our beautiful ashram here for retreats, where we have hundreds of bhaktas here. And we have many juniors. These juniors have to go now for sleeping. Tomorrow we will teach them how to get chocolate. But today they can go sleeping, or be silent. So, we will for a few minutes chant some mantra until all these little juniors go to their room and sleep. Say, "Śubharātri." Yeah, that’s it. So, parents, both or one of them, can go with. There is nothing wrong because children are children, and they should speak. So the mother or father will tell them a story in bed. So we will chant one mantra. We will sing one mantra. Oṁ Bhur Bhuvaḥ... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... Bhur Bhur... We are all the luckiest ones, that you have this retreat or the seminar, to again come forward a few steps towards spirituality. We are all at home and at our work whole days, evenings, and nights. But now, for these few days, we have time for relaxing, practicing āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, meditations, and more techniques. Lucky are they in this Kali Yuga who have the opportunity to have such a place, such an ashram, such a seminar; it’s very rare. This day, today is gone more or less, and six days more, and tomorrow begins the new day, only five days more. So try to gain in these few days for the purification of your body, your mind, your thoughts, or your philosophy, according to your philosophy and spirituality. It is like this: now the rare such yogīs or masters, they understand their life and spiritual practice. But it is not only for yogīs or ṛṣis. Because they are on the path, they know what they do. But yoga is not only for yogīs. Only those who are, we call the priests, but it is for everyone. From childhood, even a lucky couple, the parents are they. Happily, they get the child, and they think always, when the child is in the mother’s body, and they are happy for this new boy or girl, the child will be born who will be very spiritual, very great, very good, and it will be very humble, with real human qualities. So lucky are those children whose parents are on the same path. Every culture, every country has a different culture. So we cannot say just that we are now in the Czech Republic. And this, we cannot say the Czech public, the Czech culture is the best. The Slovaks would say, "What will they say?" The Hungarian there, what will they say? Poland, Ukraine, what is called Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, France. And don’t forget Austria. Every country has its beauty, its culture, everything. But spirituality is one. It doesn’t matter which way we understand spirituality. But at the end, it is only one, called spirituality. There is only one word, God. Maybe different names, but finally, it is that God. Someone takes God also in the form, and someone says God is only the space. Yes, that’s right, and this is right. But in the Bhagavad Gītā, the twelfth chapter, Arjuna is asking the God Kṛṣṇa, "What is the best? Is God better in this form?" Or without our this form, only the space. Krishna said, "Yes, Arjuna, both are good." Because, as we are in physical form, we can better understand. We can see, we can talk, we can touch, we can put the question, and the question is answered. So this is also good, and the other is also good. But you cannot get an answer that you will tell yourself, "Thank you, God, you were great today for me. You are a great God." To whom you are saying, maybe he is not there. So both are very important, nirākāra and sākāra. Nirākāra is without any body. And Sākāra is now we are. Arjuna, in both is that Brahman, that God. But you still do not understand. Though it is within you, we are always searching outside. Yes, sometimes we say God is here. It is that the book speaks, the holy book speaks, and when someone dies, also God is with. So, why has God or the creature created us? He could have left us only in this space, and we have more space. And we are not fighting at all. We have no neighbor. And no one is there to speak. You are Ānand, Ānand, Ānandoham, Ānandoham, but no form, nothing, but a boring, no, it’s boring, so, and we slowly, slowly, we are understanding. Someone said that in one mother’s womb, there are two children: one boy and one girl. The sister will be born first, so she is the elder. So she said to her brother, "Brother, we will be born." What we will be born? Oh, sister, you are a girl, you don’t know what should be born. We are, see, he said, "Yes, we will be born. We will open the eyes and we inhale." Oh, God, what should I inhale? I’m so good, you know. We will speak different languages, and you know. We will eat? Oh God, my darling sister, what will we eat? He said, "Wait, wait, wait." And they were born. Now can you see the world? She said, "It’s very nice. Why didn’t you tell me before to come?" Nine days, God, we were in a little cave. She said, "Don’t worry, we will come, become big. We will sing, we will skiing." So this is a profession, the... how do you call the progress? Coming, and then we will be old. We will have a stick, and one day we will lie down, and so deep sleep, we don’t know when we will wake up. Yes, sister, that is the best. When will we do this? She said, "Take time." Enjoy here? What is enjoy? They are only two days old. What will we enjoy? Wow, she said, "Wait a bit." So similarly, the process goes further and further and further, and again, then this nāṭak is finished. And we will be again in the space. Brother, we will be in the space? Yes, brother. How big is that? That I don’t know. It is endless, but brother, we will be together. That I cannot tell you. And so is life, coming and going. You go to the Brahmaloka, everyone is saying, "I want to go to Brahmaloka." And when you will be in the Brahmaloka, you will not even have this telephone. No one will talk with you. So what is the Brahmaloka? Ask the other Masters, ask many other Mahāmaṇḍaleśvaras. What is that? Nothing. So you should say, "I have, I have," and that is nothing. Please don’t teach me such a meditation. To throw me into the nothing, no, no, no. I want to be with us, with my bhaktas, with my friends, my parents, my sisters, my husband, my wife, everything. Please God, don’t send me anywhere. I want to be in this beautiful world, the Mother Earth. Let me enjoy in the lap of the Mother Earth. In the lap of the Mother, Father. So, what to do? Go to the yoga in daily life, it will give you everything. You will have one, what we call, we go to the side sink. We will go to Brahmaloka, we look in every loka, after that we come back here. I lost my luggage, I came empty when I went. I took with me my body. I slept, and I was with my whole body anyway, and when I woke up, I came somewhere else. This is my dear. It is the great saint’s saying. But what do you expect from this? Even when our hand breaks, we are unhappy. Our whole body goes, we are sad. We are all friends together, and this soul is going. Do you want to go? We have a samādhi today, and I give you the card. I will give you the ticket, so you can sit right on your ticket. I think. They, the Czech people, not people, the Czech authority, or the police, they... Will not let me go out of this room, bring my people from the Brahmaloka. So what is that? Everything is in this body; all is there. So let us enjoy. Where "enjoy" means, "enjoy" means look, look. Look, look how happy it is. So practice yoga, eat good food, and don’t kill any creatures. Don’t kill animals. It is not good. They are also creatures. Do you want that on the whole earth there will be only humans, and all animals are dead? Then we will begin to eat people, people like in Fiji, so they were eating human to human, and in many other countries long ago. But now we have Brahmaloka, we have Brahmaloka. We are happy, we love our friends, our countries, our people, our animals. That we are Brahma means our knowledge, philosophy, which is giving us something, what we call, more than knowledge. Someone is going the wrong way, and somebody is in another way, so welcome. You are here to get the Brahmaloka knowledge, only knowledge. When they say, "Let’s go to Brahmaloka," no, no, we are very comfortable in the Czech Republic. But please give me Brahmaloka, knowledge. That is the knowledge within us. All the chakras in the body, these are Brahmalokas. Oh, there is. Which chakra is the lay down? Mūlādhāra. My God, Mūlādhāra. Mūl means the root. Mul. Everything is mul. That is our foundation. So it is our, we are, don’t, don’t lose your mūlādhāra. Hold it. Enjoy your human life. Animals. Svādhiṣṭhāna, oh, that’s very good. You have to learn to get rid of six qualities. Otherwise, that will put you towards animals. You kill the animals, you eat them, they will kill you, that will kill me. That is like this. Anger, hate, jealousy, these are all six qualities. Finally, we come to the navel. Jalachara, Thalachara, and Nabachara, these are three kinds of creatures. It is in the water, it is in the eggs, then we are all born, with the mothers, and the flies with eggs. To bear eggs, they are from the flying. Jelcha, kalcha, nabcha, the animals of the water or creatures, and then all which are flying, they have eggs. Or is there any one that can fly? Cow, buffalo, dog, goat, or bull. Because you were born complete. But one thing is lost. It is not nice. I think we have to say something to God. Or maybe God taught something; it was good. God gave you complete birth from the mother’s womb. It doesn’t matter from which creature. But one thing is missing. I think we shall tell God, "Practice, practice. God, please, give us something." God said, "No, no, no. You are too clever." Oh, yes. God said, "No, no, no." Goat, cow, buffalo, elephant, tiger, monkeys, humans, horse, camels, everything. Everyone is complaining, and you know what that is? God did not give us this? Flying. Oh, my God. The eggs. God gave them flying. And we are born as complete. Somehow, the mother kept the wings inside. So you see? Yes, of course, humans try to get the wings, and that we call an aeroplane, or someone with the, what they call, a parachute. That is, your wings break your legs. So when the legs are broken, your wings don’t function. Why didn’t God give us the flag? That’s very important. And the other flying is called nabha-jar, nabha means air. In this all together, the humans got that knowledge, intelligence, everything. To understand all these 8.4 million, they have little knowledge to do something. Other animals also have something, but mostly they eat and sleep. That’s it. But we are human, and that is what we do and what we should not do. Who am I to ask or tell you? Tell God, and if you don’t know God, then tell all others that I love you, my friends. You see, you have a dog. Nowadays you love the dog very much. Sometimes, the dog is more loving to the wife than the husband is. And when the husband comes home, the dog loves him more than his wife. Yes, will you kill your dog? Your husband will say to your wife, "This evening we will eat our dog." Oh God, there will be a war. That’s it. So, because we understand, we touch this creature. We saw this creature, and we... See the eyes of the creature. How can we kill them, and how can we eat them? So, all humans are humans, but one thing, this very much problem in the humans is that they are torturing, slaughtering. That, the human’s heart should not accept. There is a lot and lot of eating, and for humans, God has given so much that is healthy. So now, if you want to become really healthy, with no cancers and no these things and no problems, now in the environment, it doesn’t matter, don’t talk about religion, no problem. But this is, you should know that: look in your plate, don’t say... It’s good you didn’t think that. Living beings slaughtered, crying, have also pain. Any creature, and we are also this creature, and we have also five tattvas, and they have also these tattvas, so that... That our Brahmaloka is there, when we will be completely pure, not killing animals for your eating or this and that. It can happen when you are driving, many bugs. Or when we are walking, maybe some little creature is under our feet. So let’s come in this weekend, yourself. I will not talk on this subject in the five, six days. You shall think. And you will live long. If you want to live long, then you should have this sāttvic nourishment. We will have nice programs. There are very good teachers here, yoga and daily life teachers, and we have different subjects. The first subject: sleep good. Yes, sleep good. And second: enjoy sleeping with. More friends in one room. And how? There’s a different sound, so you don’t miss your big city. How much noise in the city? Otherwise, if it’s silent, you will be afraid. Oh God, where am I sleeping? So, there are people who are making good sounds for you, especially. And the person who will make nice rhythms for you, they don’t know. This is a real miracle. You sleep deep. But we don’t know when people will say, "There is a..." So, it’s very nice. You know, you enjoy it. It’s boring with your wife to sleep every night there. You know, mostly the wife takes her pillow and goes to another room. When the husband begins to snore, he doesn’t hear anything. And she takes the, what? No, no, it is an opportunity. When he said, "She takes the pillow." And he said, "She stops." When he said, she opens the door. And the third time, close the door, and she sleeps deep. And I can tell you, more than your husband, deep sleep with snoring. Very relaxed morning. So he knows, your husband, that my darling feels disturbed with the snoring. But one day, with the lunch, breakfast, husband said, "Darling, I think you should learn how to snoring." But we have to do it in such a way. I said, you said. When she said, he said. This is how to very nicely. That’s the human life. Be happy, be good, and make your mantras. And please, don’t waste too much water. And don’t waste too much time in the bathroom. We are so many, and we don’t have so many bathrooms. So, if you wash yourself for five minutes, please take three minutes. Something, and try to enjoy our park more, and more good and good air. Our subject, our yoga classes, everything will be there. Yoga in daily life is a complete system of yoga. And we will talk about a different subject. But I tell you, I will bring you to the Brahmaloka in your bed. So you are so happy, that is the Brahmaloka, and I bring you quickly back. You snore in the Brahmaloka, and like this, you come back again. Nice, nice, āsana, prāṇāyāma, pratyāhāra, dhāraṇā, samādhi, etc. Our prāṇāyāms, our kuṇḍalinī cakras, our many different techniques and bhajans. The bhajan will make all together as a Brahmaloka. So that is what we will enjoy, and we all become one. We become all one, and there, how will we go? Very nice. Sai, Helia, Sat... Why? No, no, no. What is the bhajan? Other. Yes. That is also very good. That is very nice, and the other one is also very nice. Yes. Let’s go all together. I must translate. Some enjoy, some don’t enjoy. When they will sing here in Czech, we will say, "Oh, it’s Czech, but we don’t understand. Yes, very nice song, but we don’t know." Okay, the Yugoslavian will sing, very nice song, similar Czech, no, not Czech, Croatia, Slovenia, all this, okay. But we don’t understand French, the French language; I don’t know anything. But one word, French and Hindi or Rajasthani, is the same. And that word is voi, voi. Voi, voi. And what is the voi, voi? It is, we are asking someone, "Do you know where is the voi?" And one will say, "That’s the path," and I don’t know, but someone said the French also say so. Something is together, but still we cannot enjoy. We go to Russia, we don’t know, but you know Russia? Oh, that’s a very nice bhajan. That’s very, very nice. I will ask you sometimes, so translation. Chalo, chalo means let’s come, let’s come, let’s go, let’s go. You understand now? This first word: let’s go, let’s go. You, all my friends, there are many, many girls together, and they are all like best friends. We don’t say, "The men, let him behind somewhere." But Svāhilya means really not women, or not girls or boys. Svāhilya means our soul, our self. This is Svāhilya. Deep feelings, where to go? Let’s go, friends, let’s go where? To the Satguru, to the Gurudev. Sāraṅgadharke deśa. Sāraṅg is the Brahmaloka, the Supreme, the Highest. Sāraṅgadharke deśa. Dhar means his place. That is the Brahmaloka. This is the same as Brahmaloka Bhajan, Sahilya, let it be. Sāheliyā means our mind, our inner self. That is our inner longing. He is our Lord, He is our Lord, that He is so great, happy, joyful, everything. That Gurudev, or that Brahman, He is ours, and He is so great. Joy, happiness—and what is that? That is the knowledge that is within our self, and it is our desires. But don’t sing while sleeping, because everyone will get up and say, "Let’s go."
