The Human Dharma and the Spiritual Path
The human duty is to use our intellect for discernment and to protect all life.
We are blessed to be born human, possessing intellect for judgment and duty. This human dharma is a responsibility to love and protect all creatures, not discriminate. Our first fortune is this human birth. The second is having spiritual parents who provide ethical education, shaping us like raw material. The third is an innate interest in spirituality from past karma. The fourth is meeting a true spiritual guide. However, we often fail our duty. We destroy nature and are misled by poor education that lacks ethics. A major obstacle is addiction to harmful internet use, which agitates the mind and wastes precious time. To progress, we must replace negative habits with spiritual practice: mantra, meditation, and reading holy texts. Our spiritual aim requires positive change. We must pray for the planet and all beings.
"Dharma rakṣita rakṣita: if you protect your dharma, dharma will protect you."
"All creatures are myself... This is also the first step of self-realization, when you see yourself equally in everyone."
