The reality is within you

The spiritual path requires unwavering discipline and grace, not transient seeking. A governor prioritized a blessing over lunch, knowing his breath was uncertain. This illustrates that spiritual practice must never be missed. Many seek quick liberation, but this yields nothing. True yoga is a complete human science, not merely physical postures. Success comes from steadfast practice and the grace of one guru, akin to having only one mother and father. Spiritual realization ends criticism; we respect all paths, understanding the oneness of all beings like drops returning to the ocean. Discipline is essential, especially within family life. Practice without competition, according to your capacity. The soul is like a flame; we must protect and nurture this inner light, as it alone continues beyond the body. Authentic teachings, like unchanged bhajans, guide us. Work inwardly, for external attachments are fleeting. Practice sincerely within your own faith, fostering peace and inner awareness.

"Guru Kṛpā Hi Kevalam. As long as you have the mercy, the Kṛpā, of Gurudeva, you will be on the good path."

"One in all and all in one."

Filming location: Vép, Hungary

A governor once said to Gurudeva, "I know you will be sitting in a nice garden, and my lunch I can eat any time." But Gurujī was simply sitting there. The governor explained, "Gurujī, I know you will be here. I know the lunch is there. But, Gurujī, I do not know about my breath. If my breath goes in and out and I die, I will miss your blessing. I know you are here, I know lunch is here, but I do not know about my breath, my life. Therefore, Gurujī, I came first to get your blessing." This is written in the Līlā Amṛta. We can leave many things for a while, but our spiritual techniques, practice, and prayers we should not miss. Yoga in Daily Life offers many techniques and possibilities. It is not only exercises. We have the facilities, and if we practice certain techniques for a long time—now for 40 years I have been teaching, coming to Hungary—you see the result. Other yoga schools were here, but they are gone. They changed their techniques, gave up, and many ran away. They tried to make a school for one or two years, then were lost. But for 40 years in Hungary, Yoga in Daily Life did not become different. That is its quality. Many people come back again to practice. Many people think, "I will get liberation, Mokṣa, Kuṇḍalinī awakening, this and that." Do you think it will happen in one weekend, one month, one year, three years, or ten years? No. Whoever tries only for this will get nothing. Yoga is not only āsana, not only Prāṇāyāma, and not only meditation. Yoga is a complete science of humans. We have to know and learn this human science, and after that, all is called Guru. Kṛpā Hi Kevalam. Gurujī always said, "Guru Kṛpā Hi Kevalam." As long as you have the mercy, the Kṛpā, of Gurudeva, you will be on the good path. When you run away to some other guru, it will give you nothing. The guru and mother are one, and the father also. In this life, we have only one mother and one father. We can adopt someone, we can call others father or mother—this is the culture of India. We should call an elder person like a parent, one of equal age as a brother or sister, and the youngest as a son or daughter. Everyone can say this, but your real mother is only one. Your real father is only one. Till the last breath of your body, you have only one mother and one father. Similarly, there are many scholars, many gurus, definitely very good ones, but you have one guru, just as you have that only one mother and one father. Then you can be successful. If you say you do not know your mother and father, we can test the blood and know, yes, this is your mother. Similarly, the first time you were blessed by a master, a guru, it is said you will be successful; otherwise, you are a lost child. Everyone can love us as a child, father, or mother, but it is not that one. This is the specialty of Yoga in Daily Life. It is not only āsanas and Prāṇāyāma; there is a lot of science in this, teachings in the bhajans, poems, and from many other scriptures. When one is spiritually realized, one will not criticize others. This is Sanātana Dharma. We respect all religions, and that is why all are welcomed in India. No one from Sanātana Dharma, as Hindus, will criticize other religions because they know what is reality. But others try to fight, and you know when wars begin. Mostly, wars begin in Kali Yuga and will continually build. Recently, there was the First World War and the Second World War. But how many wars were before that? Many. And why? Because of the try to become the best one. So, that is Sanātana Dharma, or any Dharma. When reality is realized, then we become one. It is said, it does not matter from which religion or country you are. At the end, when we die, there is only one door. So many drops of water from the rain, but finally they will all lead again to the ocean. Oneness. So Gurujī said, "One in all and all in one." Therefore, first is the mother, and the father is God. Respect mother and father. The father should respect and love the children, and the mother must love her own children and that husband—the whole family, one family. One cannot leave the children behind. So why is it happening nowadays? Because there was no discipline. Parents did not educate them when the children were of marriageable age. When we are teenagers and coming to be married, both the boy and the girl are longing for someone to be whole-life oneness and have children together. We have our own one nest, our own house. But in Kali Yuga, many things happened. Yoga leads humans to humanity, and humanity means one house, one family. That's it. And one belief, but you believe in all others too: your neighbor is your brother. They are living in one house, but they are all around. They are all our family. Similarly, we have to learn now again the path of Yoga in Daily Life. People criticize because they fail, and they do not dare to come back again. But people are suffering because they did not understand. So our Yoga in Daily Life is for all religions, the whole world, and all humans. For this, humans should be kind and have love for other creatures and animals. We should practice āsanas, but according to your body capacity. That's it. We must not be twisting this direction and that direction, no. When we are above 50, 70, 80 years—it depends on everyone's body—Sarvāhitasana is the best. You see, even our Prime Minister of India brought yoga to the whole world, and they do these exercises, the easiest ones. Also, meditation. Meditation brings peace, harmony, and understanding. Then you should find your specialty, which techniques you want to do. We have many techniques in Yoga in Daily Life. But discipline and practice—no competition, no challenge. Just simply be. Simply, and one day our body will also be gone, and our soul, our Ātmā, we do not know where it is going. We talk and talk about Ātmā and going there and God, and we do not know. Let's say one flame is burning—a beautiful flame on a nice holder. In the dark, there is a beautiful light above. Nice flame. Now what happens? We blow off the flame. Where is it gone? Yes, where is it gone? This flame is our soul, and we are dancing about everything from this, our soul, our flame. But then the flame is gone. Who are you? Where have you been? And where will you be? Yes, this is our life now. And one day the wax will be gone, and this wick will become slowly... suffering because there is no more wick on it. What do we have here? We have everything very nice. Our flame is always there. We say four days is a light night, four days is a moonlit night complete? But more is a dark night. So we are also here for four days, and then we do not know where we go. Everything will remain here. Oh tourist, you are here, but now you have lost it and gone. So, on the inner side, we shall build the light and the flame, so that flame will continue to the Brahmaloka. Think over. This soul is this flame. And we should take care of this flame. Sometimes it's windy, so we are protecting it. Yes, when the child is ill, mother and father are protecting. So we shall protect ourselves. Do not think that you will be forever and you will be the best. There are many who are better and best around, but my mother is my mother. Every child says, "My mother is the best, my father is the best." Which child will say, "My mother is not good"? So we are all similar. Let's come within our self and work within our self. Gurujī's many bhajans, and Mahāprabhujī's bhajans, and many other saints' bhajans—that is the reality. Many writings have no surety because anyone can write something or change it. But the best poem, the best bhajans, no one can change. And if changed, it is wrong. Therefore, one always writes the bhajan and writes the last name of the writer—like Holī Gurujī, Mahāprabhujī, Sūradāsa, Mīrābāī—someone who is writing gives the stamp. But now in Kali Yuga, people change even bhajans and put their own other stamp. That's not right. Like the Bhagavad Gītā, every country has a translation in every language. But the Sanskrit letters no one can change, and that is the reality. Otherwise, we can read more and more books. Many saints wrote good books, let's say 200 pages. But now some people add many things, and there are about 1,500 pages. That's it, because that is only writing, not poetry. So write something which you can, and no one can change. And so you are in reality within thyself. Sometimes it is in your luck that you are alone. Yes, great, lucky. Do not say, "Swamiji, I want to marry, but there is no lady, no girl. Either I do not like that one, or the other ones do not like me." For it, you are the happiest, the luckiest. It does not matter; even the best partner you have will not go with you. This flame will go, and the wax will remain here. So do not cry about this. Do your inner work. Practice āsanas, practice Prāṇāyāma, meditation, good food, be nice to all, but work within yourself. That perhaps you will go. This flame will go so quickly, quicker than a star sparkling and falling. So quickly. And then we go to the graveyard, and we say, "Grandmother," with flowers. One way we said we do not believe—we do not believe in death or anything. And now, why are we crying in the graveyard? So, it is a human emotion and the memory. That is it. Our memory is that. So we are with memory, with the memory. But they are gone, that's it. So we are on the path of Yoga in Daily Life. Believe Christianity, do real Christianity. Islam, Islam. Buddhist, Buddhist. Hindus, Hindus. Jewish, Jewish. All, etc., etc. You are thinking very much. You trust, I trust in you, God. Then why are you fighting with the religions? How? Why? So let's go on with our practice. Tonight, think yourself, sleep nicely, do your mantra, speak with your friends because we have such good friends. Even if we do not like yoga, we are here because we have good friends to meet again. One friend is in Poland, others in Hungary, others in Germany. Where we meet, all that is good. Speak something nice, and we are happy. Our friends are very good friends, but sometimes one bird flies away, okay. That bird is gone. We will see so inwardly. Open your inner, your inner space, this body. And this, this is where we are. And this world is little, but our awareness, consciousness is the heavy, open space. So today is that: we have to go towards the bed. Till you will sleep, it will be long, and you can have some bhajans, or you can go and sleep. Tomorrow morning, 6:30. So sleep well. You are tired. If you awake earlier, no problem. In your room you can wash, you can do mantra, you can do, yes? And 6:30 is a prayer, and after, we are all together sitting and meditating, so we do not have an uṣṭān. I will see tonight what I told you, and I will see what they will tell you tomorrow. That's it. There is some poem with this, but I've forgotten. And there was a very nice poem.
