Morning meditation from Auckland
A guided meditation on relaxation and inner journey.
Sit in Vajrāsana with the prescribed mudrā. Relax the elbows and neck to relax the entire trunk. Close the eyelids gently to relax the forehead and balance the nāḍīs. Release tension from the temples, ears, and back of the head. All that is needed is within; do not create external pictures. The ten indriyas are like ten horses that must be controlled positively to provide a clear inner path. If an indriya is tense, search within for the mistake in bodily tension. Relax the jaw to release all stress. Have no tensions or visualizations during meditation. Let prāṇa flow from the Mūlādhāra to the Sahasrāra and back. All feelings are within, to be released and purified. Be one with the cosmic Self, expanding and contracting in oneness. Feel coolness and peace at the Ājñā cakra. Experience inner sound and complete oneness.
"Everything you need is within yourself."
"All your indriyas are the horses—ten horses—and they are your best friends."
