Relaxation

A guided relaxation into the Ānanda Āsana posture leads to a discourse on dharma and unity. Lie down in Ānanda Āsana, the posture of bliss, distinct from a corpse. Relax the entire body completely while inwardly repeating your given mantra. This state resides in the Ānandamaya Kośa, the sheath of bliss. All tensions and diseases originate from stress, but here they dissolve. Feel the body become light, as if levitating. Inhale and exhale with deep awareness, moving through the layers of being. All individuals are separate yet fundamentally one, like fruits on a single tree. Harmony in partnership is essential, following dharma and serving each other faithfully. Seva is the greatest practice. Do not be troubled by past actions; remain on the path for future progress.

"Relax your whole body. The whole day, you were working very hard."

"All diseases come from tensions, but ānanda posture, ānanda."

Hari Om. Om Śānti. Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān. All the best to all of you. Blessings of the paramparā of the Gurudev. Now, today we are getting wonderful relaxation. Everybody, lie down on your back or on your stomach. Put your all into it, be silent, lie down, all of you. Hari Om. Relax your whole body. The whole day, you were working very hard. You had many different kinds of activities, and now you have your relaxation. There are many relaxations. This is a bhajan by Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī, which is from around 1960 or maybe before. I will explain the Yoga Nidrā, but today is the relaxation. Deep inhale and exhale, deep inhale and exhale... Relax the whole body, lie down on the back. At this posture, this is called Ānanda Āsana. Ānanda Āsana, some people call it, that’s called like a dead body. But we are not a dead body. We are relaxed in the Ānandamaya Kośa. Ānandahī Ānanda. Therefore, lie down in the Ānanda Āsana. Put your hands beside your body. Slightly straighten and separate your legs. And now, close your eyes. In this ānandamaya āsana, make your beautiful amṛt śaṅkalpa. I am relaxed. The whole body, from the toes to the top of the head, from the top of the head to the toes. Relax from the foot soles to the top of the head, and from the tips of the fingers through the palms and hands. Relax, relax, relax. Relax your fingers. Relax your wrists. Elbows are completely relaxed. Your shoulders are relaxed. Whole day you were doing many different activities which you needed. We are human, and humans have that kind of knowledge, and they have activities. But now Ānandamayako. Ānandoham. Ānandoham. Ānandamaham. I am Brahmanandam. Relax. Your body is pure. Your body is a human body. You have beautiful parts of the whole body: your heart, your lungs, all bodies, the spine, very relaxed. Don’t move anything. I will sing, but you will have your own mantra mentally. Everyone, you have the Gurudev’s mantra given to you. Relax mentally and chant your mantra inwardly, on the fifth level. That’s it. In this mantra, in each and every cell of the body, your personal mantra, and everything in your body that you want to accept, do it. Like when a pregnant woman has her baby in her womb, and she is talking with her. And God bless them. I wish that all babies will come peacefully, harmoniously, clear, and very nice. Everyone is beautiful. I wish that all the babies will be comfortable and relaxed. Your prāṇa, your lungs, your breath, inhalation and exhalation, very relaxed. You are one with thyself, relaxed, your legs slightly apart, hands beside. This is your ānanda posture, ānandamaya. You repeat your mantra. I will sing. This Ānanda, Ānanda, Brahmananda, this resonance is in your whole body. All the pains in the body are disappearing. Every day in this, ānanda maya relaxes. Many diseases disappear. All the tensions from the body remain outside. All diseases come from tensions, but ānanda posture, ānanda. Remember, not that dead body. No, no, no. We are living very relaxed. Do not move your hands and legs. Don’t move your head, legs, and hands. What did I say? Do you remember? Relax your heart. Love, that love of the Supreme, of God. We are all one. All prāṇas, all śaktis, all strength, all comfort, all is within. Relax, relax. Feel now the movements of your abdomen. When you are inhaling, your abdomen expands, and when you are relaxing, it goes down. Ānanda, Ānanda, relax. Ānanda Āśā, Ānanda Āśān, Ānanda Ānandjī Mahārāj in Jaipur. He was a great yogī, Ānanda Ānandoha, Ānandoha. Ānandam Brahmanandam. Feel your body so light, like you feel you are levitating. Relax. Feel thyself as if you are levitating. Because happiness, when there is a problem, tension, anger, hate, greed, everything, then we are heavy. But when we are one with each other, we are one. All in this hall, they are one. We are one. Energy, Prāṇa, Śakti, Brahman, Gurudev, Mahāprabhujī, Devpurījī, Kālī Gurujī, Alaknandā, Alaknandā, Alakhpurījī, and river, Alaknandā River, flowing through within yourself. Relax, relax the whole body. Your own mantra is going on, and prāṇa. Inhale and exhale from the abdomen under the, our, this bindu, navel. I know that I am inhaling, I know that I am exhaling, I know that I inhale, and I exhale. I inhale, Ānandamaya, from the Annamaya Kośa, Prāṇamaya Kośa. Ānandamaya Kośa is the supreme one: Annamaya, Prāṇamaya, Manomaya, Vijñānamaya. And then the prāṇa maya. I know I inhale. I know that I exhale. Relax. I know that I’m inhaling. I know that I’m exhaling. Peace, peace, peace. The hands are beside the body, not on the chest. Then you cannot lift up to the ānanda maya, brahma loka. Just feel you are relaxing, you are sleeping, you are very peaceful. All five prāṇas, bodies—you are above that. What we call joy, peace, harmony, love, the divine, this is all behind these five. We are in the beauty of the oneness. Like there is a big tree and there are many fruits, but all are one. Similarly, we are all separate, but we are one. Become one in all and all in one. Peace. And now, with closed eyes, try to bring your awareness out of the world, out of your body, where you are, outside of the hall, friend, onto this world, a beautiful world, happy, very happy. And you see the new moon today. You are lucky, very lucky. With this, you are inhaling deeply and long with the stomach. Expand your stomach and the lungs, and slowly exhale again. Feel the whole body from the toes to the top of the head, from the top of the head to the toes. All the fingers, the whole body, peace, peace, your mantra, remember, Ānando’ham Ānando’ham Ānandam Brahmānandam Ānando’ham Ānando’ham Ānandam Brahmānandam. Śānti, Śānti, Śānti. Be aware of your body, feel your breath, become aware of the whole body. And slowly move your fingers, close your fist, open the fist. And slowly raise your hands up and stretch the hands above the head. And slowly bring your hands beside the body. And roll your body to the left and right, and left, and from the left side, sit up. Open your eyes, turn to my side. Guru Kṛpā He Kevalam. Om Guru Kṛpā He Kevalam. Hari Om. Are you relaxed? So there were some questions, and if there are no questions here to read, there is no one who is telling me. I don’t know if you have anybody. So please tell me if you are here. Loud. Sit down there, please. Beloved Viśvaguru Dev, Koṭi Koṭi Praṇām. How can a family man or woman reach ātmā jñāna like Śrī Maṅgīlāl Maheśvarī from Līlā Amṛt did? And what would be the best sādhanā? Number one, he was not Maheśvarī. She was not a woman. Maheśvarī is not like Maṅgīlāl jī Maheśvarī. I have to make a correction, you know. And he was married. He had one daughter and one son. That son is leaving, etc. There are no questions between the male and female. And there is no difference if they are a couple, husband and wife. But follow the dharma. And if you have the dharma, then they are both going to heaven, mokṣa or brahmaloka. If a husband is always angry with his wife, you will get nowhere. Or the wife is very angry, and this and that, you are lost. You are looking for someone or others. It is not like this. Either you marry or don’t marry. But if you both marry, you know, for most, you can say in Christianity, when you go to the church for a marriage and the priest gives you the words and says, "I will be faithful to my wife in every respect." And she will also say, even if she or he is very ill and she or he is paralyzed, then it is even better that you are serving your husband like a god, or that husband is taking care of his wife like a god. That is the seva. Seva is the greatest thing of all. Then they are both the same. There is no such thing as being married or not married. But how many times have you married in this life? How many times have you run away? This is this, so don’t think now. But if you are still like that, then it’s okay. Then you come to the Maṅgīlāljī, Maheśvarī. Maheśvarī is the caste. Caste, caste, no? Caste. So, it is in your hands, my dear, but when you have done three times and four times, and one boy is here and one girl is there, then you are lost. You did not listen to the Bible. You did not listen to Jesus’s words. You did not follow the scriptures. Likewise, from the ages and ages, the same thing in any dharma, any religion, Hindus or Christians, etc. But where are you? That is. And therefore, don’t worry, be happy with your partner, whether you have children or not, but if children come, they come, not a no. But life, it is like we have one corn, and this corn, let’s say the moong or chana, and we put it in the water, in the morning it will be very nice, full. And we open the skin, there are two. This is two. That is husband and wife, male and female. This is that. Or guru and śiṣya. That’s it. Even a woman can be a great guru. There is no problem. We are not talking about the body. Male and female, there is nothing. That is ātmā, atom. And therefore, that’s very important. Now you will say, "Swāmījī, how can I do something? I cannot." But I will tell you now how it is. Remain on this path. Don’t go left and right. Go, you know. Then, in the next life, you will come again, better. But both will come then. You have to bring both together. Otherwise, one day you are there, next life, and you are there. One is in Africa, and the other is in China. Yes, different. One is in America and one is here in India, so they have to come together. So you can say sorry for everything from both sides and then live. Next life will be better. Ask me a question in the next life. Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Śivāya, Om Namah Bhajan Om Namah Śivāya Om Namah Śivāya... Om. There was one lecture, oh, question more. Ah, there is no more question? Okay, no question anymore. Thank you very much. Today’s beautiful bhajans will be by our dear sister, Pushpa. Pushpa, pushpa is flowers always coming, beautiful flowers. We should not break away the flowers; let them be nice. And then it is coming, many, many bees on it. From one flower to other flower, a bee comes, and that pushpa is giving the honey to everyone. Okay? And if you are not coming, then it’s a flower, but you are not a, you are funny, not a honey. Okay, Pushpa? Om. Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Kī Jai. So please tell them they should clearly give the answers to the questions. Thank you. So, everybody.
