Life is Soul

The essence of devotion is found in following the Guru's words, which brings peace and harmony. The lineage originates from Alakh Purījī, who is inseparable from Śiva. One should not speak or chant excessively. A story tells of a Brahmin who constantly chanted God's name and a farmer who worked and remembered God simply. Upon death, God welcomed the farmer for his peaceful devotion but rejected the talkative Brahmin for being a disturbance. The core truth is that all life shares one soul. Nothing exists outside the self; everything perceived comes from within. True research is an inward journey into the heart.

"All souls are one soul."

"Nothing outside; what is there is within you."

With the divine blessing of our paramparā—Alakh Purījī, Siddha Pīṭh Paramparā. In Satyuga, Alakh Purījī was akin to Bhagavān Śiva, a part of Śiva. All devotees know I am speaking in Hindi. Today is a beautiful day. Ārādhya Bhagavān—Ārādhya means we are meditating, worshipping, devoting; everything we are doing is "Guru Kṛpāhi Kevalam, Śiṣya Ke Ānanda Maṅgalam." When we follow the Gurudev’s words, it is said: "Guru Vākya, Ānanda Maṅgalam, Śiṣya Ke Ānanda Maṅgalam." When this comes, then "Śiṣya Ke Ānanda Maṅgalam." The devotees, the disciples, will get Maṅgalam. Maṅgalam means happiness, joy, peace, harmony, good health. It is the same with our ṛṣis and our paramparā. You know, my dear ones around the whole world, and all devotees of Yoga in Daily Life, it is said that from Satyuga comes Bhagavān Śiva. At that time also, there were Bhagavān Śiva and Alakh Purījī. Alakh Purījī is our root, and we are here from that. We hear and understand whatever we can, because we are not so far advanced in our spirituality, but we understand. It is said some people talk too much and chant too much. There is a story. I don't plan in the daytime what I will speak or write. Sometimes, if I write, I don't even look at it. Why? I ask many times, why? Because "Asha Mera Satguru Andar Bole, Asha Mera Satguru Andar Bole." Like that, my Gurudev is speaking within me. So, Alakh Purījī is through and through, and Devpurījī is in our heart, and Mahāprabhujī is in divine knowledge. And Hari Gurujī is in my vocal cords. In the vocal cords, here, Hari Gurujī’s words, Hari Gurujī is talking. So I said, I am only like an instrument. That instrument sometimes may not be in order, and sometimes it is, but Gurudev is so. Gurudev is doing everything. So, there is a little story. In this story, one person, day and night, chants: "He Rāma, He Rāma... Rāma, Rāma... Hey Bhagavān, Hey Bhagavān... Hey, Mere Prabhu, Bolte Jāū, Bolte Jāū Bhagavān, Bhagavān, Āp Kāū Ho, Bhagavān, Kab Milogī, Bhagavān, Bhagavān." Day and night, mentally or verbally. There is another farmer. That farmer is working with his plough in the farm, two oxen are there, and his wife is coming and taking away the bushes. Then both husband and wife sit under a tree, very nice, and they give some grass to their bulls. They have lunch and talk. They think, "Bhagavān, God will bring good rain. Bhagavān will do good," and so on. They are eating and working, not talking too much about God, or they don't want to talk too much to God. One is like Hanumānjī. Even Hanumānjī, when he moves like this with his fingers... if he cannot go through his lips and tongue, then at least with the hand, like this. So Hanumanjī doesn’t let Bhagavān Rāma sleep. Hanumanjī said, "Bhagavān Rāma said, ‘Go in the garden, fruits are there.’" Anyhow, both—the one who chants "Rāma, Rāma... Jai Rām, Jai Rām... Śrī Rām, Jai Rām, Jai... Rām," and the farmer—both died on the same day at midnight. The soul goes, and you know how quick it is—like at night when you see a star falling. We say, "Look at the star falling," and it is gone. Similarly, the soul in this body, where it is going, it doesn't look back. You know, we catch a wild animal, and when we open the cage, how quickly it runs away; it will not come back. Similarly, this soul will not come again. Now we are crying and saying, "My father, my mother..." I am this and this. "Please wait. I will tell God." So, because it is a duty, God has a duty to inform properly. Otherwise, you will sit down the whole day, and then what happens? In the morning, God will be angry. So, Bhagavān God is ever alert and awake. She said, "Bhagavān, there are two persons at the door." He said, "Yes, Ma, who is that? One is this, and one is that." Oh, that Brāhmaṇa Paṇḍita, all the time he is talking about me, he remembers me. And the other farmer, he has time. When he goes to sleep, he says, "Rām Rām... Bhagavān." And our morning roots, Rām Rām, pūjā. Then bring that farmer inside. But what about the Brāhmaṇa, the Paṇḍita? Don’t bring that Paṇḍita inside. Why? Because he doesn’t let me sleep at all, day and night. So let him go back and bring others like this. So we should know how we are not... Too much is not good. Atha? Kyā hai? Atīta? Ati. So, like this, the jīva is finished. So, like that, wisdom comes to the sādhana to practice, and the jīva is going there. Jīva. There is only one Jīva. Now you know Śiva. What we call Śiva. Do we call Professor, Doctor, Bhagavān, Śiva? No, only Śiva. Let’s say Bhagavān, Rāma or Kṛṣṇa or Jesus, then now any... no, no, Professor, this, this, only the one name. That name we should have. Similarly, in our heart, or in animals, or in a tiny ant, they all have the same soul. That is life. The ant dies, the animal dies, the human dies. That is all the same. Like when it rains—water is dripping or flowing, raining—all equal. One is big and one is long, but the big one will have to break into small pieces. And a tiny tree will not split; it will come peacefully with the earth. And the big one, which has a very big patch... and so, there is also another different subject. But there is something, what we call, where is Avatārpūrī Gopī Gopī? Why? No, no, no. He should have it in satsaṅg, sit, and then go eat. Is it not allowed? Yes. Lock the door. No more eating. No, no, no. This is a... yes, because I know he has, he is a trickster. And his tricking brings the permanent. I know. I sit here, but I know everywhere what is happening. So, but I know, and don’t you think Swāmījī doesn’t know? I’m sleeping in my room, but I know where something is. Anyhow, good or bad is not good. What I want to say, we said in India, it is like this: in a dirty pond, a very dirty pond, you throw a little stone inside. What will happen? It will split that from this dirty. So, because our thoughts and our words are like dirt, then you split everything in the dirt. When you are not one, when you are pure and crystal clear, then it is something. But from where is it coming? If you want a stone in, it will come; very pure water will split. And where, "hey Pālī Kharā, now kaha kyā kyā tā, eh, eh, Bombay se nahīṁ kānā, abhī satsaṅg se nahīṁ kānā, eh, to yahīṁ baiṭh ke kyā kyā tā." See down here, don’t make double things, my dear, I know. Yes, and he said different. And you said different, see down. I know you are very splitty, okay, very good boys, good, that’s a good splitting everything like this. My program is gin, lecture, but my lecture is that, like, lek and cāra, okay, cāra, cāra, ācāra. Anyhow, what I want to say: "jīva, sab jīva ek jīva hai." "Eko Brahma dvitīyona asti." Only one is that, and so, that is Brahma, Śiva, Alakh Purī, etc. Jitne hai, vo ek meṅhi eko baṅke calte hai. That’s why, very, very nice. So, in that program, in this, we have to search; we are researching from our body. Nothing outside; what is there is within you. Nothing is outside you. Outside, you are giving what is from you. And when somebody is giving to you, it is also given from outside, not from inside there, but given to you from outside. So, inside is very, very important, very good. And what is that? Even one animal, when it dies, is getting liberation. Humans also go, but as long as we are in the body, we are so afraid. So, in this, what today was very important, very good, is to again research within our heart. It is very important, and that’s why I want to tell you a very nice lecture, and that lecture is, for me, somebody giving. And there is not a lecture. The personality, or what is there, is not easy, but very easy. And that is Ādiguru Śaṅkarācārya’s video we will see, my dear all. Those who want to see are welcome. And, of course, we are not playing this on Swāmījī’s video, because we do not know if it is copyrighted or not. But, my dear, you know all, my all bhaktas from the Ādiguru Śaṅkarācārya, and you should also listen to this, that’s also in English. So, now you will come and see and have a darśan. It is beautiful. That is, there are few films, they are the best, but then others are blim-blam-blim-blam... so not like this, that is another one, pay peacefully. So, I wish you all the best, and until they are making Avatārpuri, or Phūlpuri, or anybody Puri, or the Puri, or the Chapati, they will prepare under this, and they will make one bhajan very nicely, and you will listen to all our bhajans, and then we will be fishing. Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Devādideva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Haradeva Bhagavān, Svāmī Deep Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī Kī... I know that he is not, Vishokanand Jī is not so bad, and he is also not mad, but he is so naughty. So the Gurujī is different. That is why he is not going today. Kyā kare? Chalo. Yes. Da da dang da da.
