God gives everything

Divine reality encompasses both male and female principles, requiring balance in worship and practice. Begin each day with prayer and remembrance of the divine, seeking blessings for all actions to be offered as worship. This devotion sustains happiness and energy. Worldly pursuits and identities are transient, as recent global hardships reveal. Do not cling to status or education; all return to the earth. Engage in necessary work with humility. Spiritual practice maintains health and connection. In difficulty, rely on prayer, mantra, and faith in the divine within. God provides for all beings. Maintain devotion to both earthly and spiritual parents, honoring them as divine reflections. Family harmony is essential. Suffering is a test that draws one closer to the divine, as shown in the lives of great saints. Persist in sādhanā with humility and kindness.

"Prayer first, that my Lord give me that energy, give me your blessings, that whatever action I will be taking, it should be pūjā."

"God gives you everything. No one will sleep hungry, from the elephant to the ant."

Part 1: The Divine Balance and the Grace of Prayer Not only the male god, but also the mother gods. We have many, many divine mothers, Śaktis, and we also worship them very, very much. So, this is both male and female. So, from Śiva, and from Śiva, the Śakti. As we have seen many times in videos and as we spoke in our discourse on "Hidden Powers in Humans: Kundalinī and Chakras," we said to keep the balance on both sides. So, automatically, in the morning when we get up, we see the picture of our gurus, or your mother, your father, your grandmother, or your little child, so that I will continue after "Oṃ Namo Śrī Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇam..." Hamsabhadas Prabhusaran Parayanam May Oṃ Namo Śrī Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇam Oṃ Namo Śrī Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇ Hamsabhadas Prabhusaran Parayanam Oṃ Namo Śrī Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇ Hamsabhadas Prabhu Saranparaya Hamsabhadas Prabhu Saranparaya Namay Oṃ Prabhu Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇ Oṃ Namah Śrī Prabhudīp Am Sab Das Prabhu Saran Parayanam Oṃ Namah Śrī Prabhudīp Nārāyaṇam Oṃ Namah Śrī Prabhudīp He, my Lord, my God, you are my Divine, you are my Holy, you are my God, you are everything for me. Please bless me and give me the right path so that I can do good things for all, also for my whole family, my spouse, my grandfathers and grandmothers, for our grandmothers, our children, our neighbors, etc. That creates happiness, joy, and freedom in our heart. So, every time, mentally or physically, we shall sing these bhajans or pray praṇām. Oṃ Tryambakaṃ Yajāmahe Sugandhiṃ Puṣṭi Vardhanam, Urvārukamiva Bandhanān Mṛtyormukṣīya Mā’mṛtāt. Oṃ Tryambakaṃ Yajāmahe Sugandhiṃ Puṣṭi Vardhanam, Urvārukamiva Bandhanān Mṛtyormukṣīya Mā’mṛtāt. Oṃ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ. It takes a few minutes, early morning when we get up, or any time you have a little time. Do anything, all work and this, but any action you are taking, prayer first, that my Lord give me that energy, give me your blessings, that whatever action I will be taking, it should be pūjā. That is how we can remain happy, relaxed, comfortable, and full of devotion all the time. So in this way, when we do the sādhanās—any kind of kriyās, chakras, meditations, mantra, etc.—the mantras, chakras, and āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, they are not like worldly things to act in that way. But if we are taking all sādhanā, practice, and sometimes my duty for the world, that whole day we take more time for the world. Everything that we do, we are working for this world. And that also gives us back. Sometimes we know, and sometimes we are not thinking like that. Now, just a few months ago, what happened in this corona? And what happened? Everything fell down. We lost our job, or our duty, or my work, or my properties and my work, everything falls down. Now we are without anything, empty. So now we can feel, within four months, and it made the whole world. It’s not the right words to say, but all became like beggars. Beggar is a little bit not a good word. But many people now, they don’t know they lost a job, they give you money, and we don’t have any things that we can live from this. This is not a good time now. But therefore, if we are doing now, many we have lost, we have to think and pray. Every day, do your prāṇāyāma, mantras, and think of that God who is really in your heart, the guru you have, or view another one, where you trust, where you believe. Therefore, now it is the time, and what we are learning is where we have to be very careful again. Many, many people were just running here and there, to many restaurants, drinking and doing many things. You take all the money out from your pocket, and you come at two o’clock in the night, and getting up about ten o’clock and asking father and mother, "I need pocket money," and like that way. But now, neither in your pocket nor in your parents’ pocket. Why has this happened? Our own mistakes. And then, don’t be on one side. Anything which will work. But somebody said, "No, I study very much, and I have high education, and I cannot work in the garden." It is said, there is one bhajan, and in that bhajan it is said, it doesn’t matter what you have, all, but finally you will be in the earth. And even your bones will not be there anymore. So, for one who is working very clearly with worldly things, that is very important. And so, our sādhanā, our yoga practice, is for our health, our hormones, that give us more energy. That’s what we are doing. Now, many people did not know what God is, and we don’t want this. But now they will come, yes, this is like that. We pray, we all pray that, please Almighty, do not bring us into such a situation. And for that we are making praṭhanā, prayer, mantras, repeating our mantra. Definitely, it will come, something great. So, only don’t think that now I will be a high yogī, and this and that. Still, we are not so far. The many, many sādhus or monks or mullahs, that is all, they are dancing. But someday it will be that they don’t know what to do. Therefore, beginning now, we shall pray. And in this, all, many people—I’m getting many letters, many telephone calls, and some messages—that, Gurudev, I was good in everything, and now what to do? And I can say it, don’t worry. It is like a dream, and we are in this dream, suffering. Suddenly we will awake, and it will come. This is number one, and number two, this is it. It doesn’t matter how high a position you have. And even for someone to give water, grab a bag, this, like this, like this. Well, this is your position. But when you come home, you have only one position: that’s your wife. And she will tell, "Please, can you take the garbage outside? Please, can you bring the water? Can you bring the vegetables?" Like this, then yes. And you said to him, "Now, please, I’m hungry, can you bring something to eat?" Both are in oneness. That is the best one. Otherwise, one day you will suffer. So, like sometimes there are ministers and police. And when some officers go out of politics, mostly, yes? They go out of their office, or anywhere, or in their car. The police are there, and they will make their leg, foot, standing, and, like this, salutation. And the minister, they do not even look. But how many days? Maximum three months or four months. Then you were in the highest position, and now you have lost everything. You have your own cycle, and then the police are there. They will not sit like this. But this politician will say, "Hello sir, how are you? Yes, now you give me the hand." And two years ago, I was standing like this. This is the time you are in. I have always said, my whole year, my position. But you have only three years, four years. So why do we make such things, that I am bigger and I am a lot and I am a lot, and others like this? Of course, they have their protocol. And they have to do this according to protocol. But when you come home, relax and pray. Do good. Tell them I was in my office. I gave as much as I could of the good things. So, similarly, in our situation, and there will be more still, don’t worry, but they said, "We are very worried, please, not anymore," so it will come good. You know, everything can go, but Mother Earth, she will not let the children go hungry. That is the mother; she will take care. The mother will remain hungry, but she will feed us. Yes, Mother Earth. Yes, and water, beautiful water it will be. And this air, and the moon and the sun, they are all with us. They will not let us go down, so learn every way. You can do anything. So, if you think that I study very much and everything, and my companies, and like this, and my money, and so on—now everything is gone. Now what to do? No, we are with the Mother, our Earth. We are in Her lap. And there, tell her... she will give you. Immediately, something you give, you think, "What do you want to eat?" Therefore, it is why not in the beginning, with folded hands, we tell Holy Mother, and we have two holy mothers. The first is the mother earth, and second is our own mother. And the third one I can say is the spiritual mother, and the same like God. So this is our earth, our land, and our protection. That is what we call the one who is taking care of our land. So Mother Earth is my country, so the Father takes control of my country. And mother said, "It’s my child, my earth." So we should not give up our mother and father. Always, always... even the parents can be angry. But finally, if anything happens, the parents will take you in their lap. And your children will always give humility and love towards their parents. But now there is Kali Yuga. Where is the mother? And where is the father? And where is the child? That is why we are suffering. Please, either don’t marry and don’t have children. And if you have the children, please, these children are for you. And they are for you to let come up, and then you can go. So, you can get married and work, and like this, what you are doing. We should not suppress the parents, but until we are on our own feet, we have to be like this, and similarly, our spiritual path, also, your parents should be so spiritual, and then you will be. But if the children are doing wrong things, and they will suffer, that is also not good. This is for us, not only that we will pray and sit down and meditate. This is the lecture that I am thinking. I went through this, and I had all the time the best thing. Sometimes something happened. May I miss my train? Sit, tuck, tuck. You know the clock? And the clock said, "Ano." That’s it. Or I miss my bus, or I miss some of my friends. Many things. This is only one or two things. There are many things. I can tell you one little story. Gurujī, I was not a sannyāsī, I was a young boy, and my Gurujī sent him from another city, a big city, which was about 500 or 600 kilometers, 80 kilometers. And he gave me a ticket for the train to go to Mumbai and give this letter from some bhaktas. They know me because I was with Gurujī in Mumbai many times, and they all know me very well. They treated me like their own son or their own guru brother, and so Gurujī told me to go there. Gurujī gave me a train ticket, and I went. What happens? But I have nothing except one book of Mahāprabhujī, that’s it. And I think Gurujī didn’t give me, or Gurujī forgot me, or what? I had no money in my pocket. And there was, in this bag, there was also no money, not at all. And now I was so hungry. Yeah, young people, we get hungry quickly. Now I will hold a day, day and night I will not be so hungry. But we say for children, the young ones, after eating, pull, and we wash our hands. And when the hands become dry, again, on an empty stomach. So, now in the train, sitting, hungry, people are eating something. Well, on one station, train station, I don’t know anyone. And stayed about 10 minutes, 10 to 20 minutes, stayed on the train. And there were coming very nice, these fruits, no, no,... this is a banana. And banana, we have different names, that’s why I was looking for this number. Part 2: The Test of Faith and the Path of Sādhanā There were beautiful, big bananas. When I saw them, I felt even more hungry. I said, "Gurujī, you didn’t give me anything. I’m so hungry." There were still about six or seven hours left. I said again, "Gurujī, give me something." I put my hand in my pocket and found only ten paisa. You know ten paisa? What is that worth? I said, "Oh, there is nothing in my pocket." And I said, "Gurujī, you could have given me something." I think Gurujī said, "Why? I gave you." Immediately, I gave the money to the man and said, "Please give me the bananas." He asked, "How much do you want?" I said, "I’m very hungry." So he gave me twelve bananas and five paisa back. At that time, things were very cheap. That’s it. So it is said that God gives you everything. No one will sleep hungry, from the elephant to the ant. This God provides for the whole world, for that mother, for that ant and elephant. So it gives, it comes. I was eating very quickly, quickly, and angrily. I ate only four. While I was there, Holī Gurujī somehow got a message, I don’t know how. He told them my name and said, "So many bananas, and you did not eat them all." This is really not a joke. When I arrived, the person who came to the railway station took me home. They wanted to give me food and such. I said, "I ate so many bananas." He said, "Okay," then put some ālchī in my mouth—you know, ālchī—and said, "Chew it." So there was a little in my mouth. In ten minutes, cardamom, and in twenty minutes, my stomach was completely empty. I said, "Now I will eat." I tell you many things; this is the situation. I’m not just talking; this is a situation in our life. But do not depend on others, only on God. Only Guru Dev, and our own confidence. We have to work on our confidence, on whatever we like to do. And that is the test for us. God or Gurudev or anyone, they are testing us to see if we are real or not. So, in this same struggle, in our exercises, in the sādhanā we are doing, we have to learn first what is this and that. I told many nice, good stories a few years ago. I think I need not tell them again. But now I see with my own eyes that only 40% know. The rest are newer and they don’t know. So, the day before yesterday I said, "And why should I not tell my very nice life stories?" What I want to tell you is that this is the path to go. You see, even when God shows Himself, He shows us something. It is a very terrible situation. We all know this, the whole world knows. See the situation of Jesus. And more than Jesus, his mother. And who was standing with strong legs? His father. That was not easy, my dear. Only sometimes we think about it, and when we see the video, we turn it off because of how it is. Therefore, it is the same thing with what happened to the god Rāma in the forest. He was the son of a king, very great, but you know what happens. And see Kṛṣṇa? How his mother was suffering? You can compare Jesus’s mother and Kṛṣṇa’s mother. So, Kṛṣṇa’s life and Jesus’s life. They are all great saints. But still, God will not suffer and have both. God said, "In my hands, both." If you have this, then good, you will go through, and others will suffer. It is said, when you suffer, you will be more in my heart, and I will take you, and you will be forever. From all ages and ages, all problems I am putting down here. And those who will say, "No, I will do everything, I don’t need that." Okay, God gives a lot. Why not? But then, how will it happen after? Therefore, those who are devotees or humble to the gods, and pray to this God, they will be going to the highest, to God. Do your sādhanā. Do your practice. Be humble and kind to all, to your parents, to your mother. It is said, "Mother suffers for you." Nine months is not easy. Of course, she says she is very happy, that she will get her child, and so on. But there are many different kinds of movements, and this I cannot know about. She is sleeping, and the child in the stomach is going to have its legs on the left and right. You know that. Everything, but she’s happy because of this. She can endure nine months, and after nine months, there is more that you have to endure. That mother should not scold you; she should not give you out. And the same is the father. He is the protector. The father is a protector. And if that’s gone and that’s gone, what is happening now in this age? Many women have one child, and they go on and take other men, and other men are gone there. And five, six children you have somewhere from other five. And that is the situation in the world. That’s it. Otherwise, all these Czech countries and Slovakian countries, they have their own countries. They are happy. Why should we fight? And they don’t fight. You see, many people were fighting and separated many times, but you see our Czech and our Slovak people, they separated the country again. There was no fighting, no war. They are still like one. That is these people, and like this we should be to the mother and father. And there we should be, God, there. So, this is what we are going through practicing mantras. And so we practice mantras. Therefore it is said: Karke Dayā Beda Tū Pāṭ Laga Now I have no one, because my father and my mother are separated. I am between no one; they are mine. So, neither my father nor my mother separated us. We can, you can pull me that side, or you can, like a football. Therefore, Gurujī, Kriyā. So, these are called the inner feelings and the search for reality. And so, this bhajan is beautiful, a very, very nice bhajan. And it is because of that bhajan, I think, Holī Gurujī was making one day. One child was somewhere, two, three children, wife and mother, both, or how do you say, they separated in a very not good way. There was on Facebook, I see sometimes, and there was a little drama. One man took his child, and his mother died, and he married. And she had one girl, and so his wife, she was so much loving her child. And another one, from whom the other mother was not there—she died, or she went somewhere. And this, the second wife of that man, and he was a soldier. And this one lady, she had one child, a girl also, and she was doing everything, the best thing for him, for her. And the other girl, she’s about five months or four months old. And she’s kicking with the leg and asking, "Wash this, clean this." And she said, "I’m hungry." And she said, "First, clean all this. But I’m so hungry." She kicked her, and this important situation, and now she was telling very bad words. She was about six, seven months, this girl now, and she was laundry, all everything, all cleaning house, and this. And when the soldier asks his wife, "How is my daughter?" "Oh, she’s great, and she’s okay, and everything like that." And she tells her, "When your father takes you, you must say, ‘Father, I’m very happy,’ and she takes me with much love, and this and that. Don’t tell her anything." And then her father telephones, he speaks with his wife, and says, "How is this child?" She said, "Yes, he’s very good. Come, little dog, tell me. Yeah, you’re nice." And she said, and she was treating him, you know, child, this was his second wife of his husband. And one day, she was very naughty, and her second mother was very ill. And this little girl, she was cleaning everything, and she’s coming to her, and she’s massaging her, and bringing warm water, and she said, "Now, do you want to eat something?" She said, "No, I cannot eat because you are so ill." And she’s going, this girl, going to the temple in the house, you know, in the house, like the Taj Mahal. And that was the temple of the Holy Mother, Lakṣmī. And she prayed to Lakṣmī. "My mother, this stepmother, she is so ill, and please, I cannot eat." And this other one is listening. Then she again came to her. And this woman, she said, "Come, eat, please." She said, "I cannot eat. I feel that you are so ill." Then that lady took her in her lap and said, "I am sorry. I am so sorry. I was not good to you." She said, "No, I don’t feel that you are feeling well." So then again she took this child. So many things happen now in this situation. It is a sin to take the children away from one wife to another wife, or from one husband to another husband. It will be suffering. That is very, very important. Even animals’ children, they run behind them and sit there. So therefore Gurujī has made this bhajan. Guru Dev, śaraṇ to mā, cintā merī methā. So Gurudeva, please, give me this love so that no troubles will be. So this bhajan is very great. Like this, many, many bhajans, and it has power. The whole book you can read, and only one poem is more than the thick book. And we know everybody, we have everything. In your country, you have many nice poems like this, and everywhere. But it is said, such a situation becomes the greatest. So in such a situation, Jesus became what? Yes, and how Kṛṣṇa was, and how everyone was. So, Guru, Guru is that one, is father and mother. That’s it. So we are the children, even if we are 80 or 90 years old. But we will always bow to God, too, as a child. Not 70 years or 90 years. That’s it. So we have to learn today in our insight. And that is our sādhanā. You will see how you are best in your families, in your children. You will make them very holy, divine. So that is what I was telling, something different. For three days I’m with these papers, coming with. It is from Holī Gurujī. That is very, very nice. Śrī Pūjā Dīpā Dayā Laharī Paramapuruṣottam Khās, Śrī Mādhāvānandjī Karjoḍ Kahe, Simru Vāsu Swās. The Gurujī had made a beautiful poem. And he wrote one poem for every letter, each letter. And so he said: Śrī Pūjya Dīpā Dayāl Harī Parampuruṣottam Khas Mahāprabhujī Parampuruṣottam. Mahāprabhujī is the highest, and in humans, he is one of the highest. Śrī Mādhavānandajī Ajo, our holy Gurujī, with folded hands, he said, "I meditate on you, your name I repeat all." Swas so swas, each breath in the body and taking out. Inhalation, already your name, Mahāprabhujī, and exhalation also thy name, O Gurujī Mahāprabhujī. Those who can write the best of the best, at some point, it goes from the heart. There are many, many things written; there are many things. Many people have written various things, but it should be that the arrow goes into your heart, but the arrow of humbleness, love, peace, etc. Or maybe wrong. Parampuruṣottama Khasa, Śrī Madhavānandajī Kar Jodha Kahe, Simru Svasu Svas, your name, i.e., Holy Gurujī’s, say to Mahāprabhujī’s name. So many gurus and many disciples, but as a holy Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī, I have never seen anything or heard anything.
