Yoga is for all creatures

Our journey is a spiritual ascent and return toward the Cosmic Self.

Life is a journey from the womb toward the Supreme. We accumulate experiences as we grow. Reaching a peak is like a Himalayan summit, a point of clarity before the descent back down. This cycle mirrors life: we learn to stand, then in age, we return downward. The body and elements are temporary; only the soul continues. God, who is singular and pervasive like the sky, provides our time and space. The ultimate destination is merging with the ocean of Brahman, becoming the endless Cosmic Self. Therefore, consistent practice is essential. Yoga is the paramount path for this union, and it is inherent in all life. Animals instinctively perform their own yoga through movement and cleansing. Humans learn postures from observing animals, proving yoga is for all creatures. Our daily work and exercises are also forms of yoga. The goal is for all expanded existence to melt back into oneness, like elements in a volcano. Through disciplined practice and techniques like Agnisāra, we progress.

Mostly, they are very thankful, coming with a message to me, that elderly people are also practicing yoga in their life, which we call the first for all, that is the Sarvahitāsana. We know that we are searching for many things in this life. But our practice, our body, is very important. From the little child, or the embryo in the mother’s body, from that time begins our journey further toward the Supreme Cosmic One. We grow in life day by day, month by month, year by year. We have done a lot, we have many memories and programs, and we did good for everything. And now, we are coming to the other step of the Supreme, or the Cosmic, Self. It is not easy to come to this ātmā, the jīvā, in the mother’s body. Also, it is not so comfortable or easy for the mother’s body to get the child out of the womb. We open our eyes, we look, but we do not know where we are, what it is, and we cannot speak. We cannot even talk. But day by day, we are doing it. After a certain time, it is like we are climbing on the hill, on the rocks. When we are on the high glaciers of the stones, we stand there and look in all directions: left, right, front, beyond, etc. We sit there for a while. We spend some nights there on the peak of the hill. We look east, west, north, south. We understand and feel the pure air in the Himalayan peak of the Himalaya. But what to do now? We are on the peak. It means our path, where we can go, how far we can walk, is there. And then, for as many years as we have come from birth till now, today, we go now again back down. So, climbing up and coming down, we have many, many experiences—many divine experiences and many other lives in life. When we are born, we cannot walk. Then we were on our knees and hands. Then we tried slowly to stand up, and slowly, slowly, we became straight. Similarly, now after we are old and our bones are going down, and we are going down and down, so God said, "God, give us two times. I brought you to the highest point, and again, I give you the choice from the tip to the root, again back to the down." God said, "My child, I gave you in this worldly time, and you enjoyed many things. Now you should know what you have in your life, what you have gained. And what will we take with us now? The body will not go with us. Then what will happen? All five elements will go apart. Where am I going?" We are looking, but it is God who leads us, and there are many paths. In which path do you want to go? How did you go in this life? And according to that, your path is that, my dear. Therefore, it is said in satsaṅg, in bhajans, in the prayers, always and always, we are on our destination towards the Cosmic Self. Because the human has that knowledge, the language of the humans: how to do, how to live. So this is one of the best paths, which is yoga. And everyone will go through the yoga at the end of life. You are standing there with the yoga. Śiva, or whatever, who is God, definitely, definitely He takes us. God is not individual. We think that He is to everyone, one, one, one. But He is like the one. And how is that one? Like a sky. Every direction, the same sky. Everything is the same, and that was God’s energy inside. God is that one. Inside, God is one, and He gave us time and space. Enjoy it, enjoy it. And so, in what should we go through? The good things: bhakti, śakti, jñāna, etc. And so we are going to the Brahmaloka. Ever and ever we are. That water which has gone into the ocean has become only ocean, not this lake or that other part of the water. Any rivers, any creek, and many things, but finally in the ocean. Who will you say you are? Where are you? We become that ocean, endless, endless. And after that, like this, we are the Cosmic Self. Do not say that somebody is with me or not. Whom do you want to ask? There is no one there. Therefore, Holī Gurujī said, "One in all and all in one." In this way, this jīvātmā, this ātmā, this soul, it is going bedside. Therefore, practice, practice, practice yoga. There are many different techniques of yoga. Which path should we go? But we definitely need our whole body to be healthy. And there are different ways to be healthy: oxygen, the light, night and day, the walk, practice, etc. Because this all is coming to, that’s called yoga. It does not matter which language we call it. In our physical body, as we are all creatures, we have our nest to keep our body and to eat something. Every creature has a stomach, and they need this. So it is said, "Kani, manme, kani, and tanime, elephant." The little ant also needs food in her stomach. She is very tiny. But she needs her food, and the elephant. He also feels his stomach all day. So, oh man, who are you that I will feed? We cannot feed all. Kanko, kiddie, little for the ant, and kilometers, the kilos, not kilometers, the kilos and kilos of an elephant’s stomach. No one is hungry staying on this earth and in the ocean. Who is feeding that? The God. He is feeding even all vegetation, all the trees, all the pests, everything. How? Who is feeding? That is God. That is the Supreme, and that is our God. Therefore, do not be proud that you are a very rich man and can give everything. Oh, my dear, do not be so full of your ego. You cannot feed all. Philly is the God. Therefore, in that, we shall come to know that it is He who creates us, feeds us, brings us, and melts into one with us. We know that everything, everyone, man knows, but there are difficulties nowadays in these Kali Yugas. Many people are very ill. The nourishment is wrong. People do not know what they are doing. So we shall come back to that: humans are the human. In that, of course, every creature is trying to do its yoga. Every animal, you know, like cats, sometimes they eat grass. And if that does not go out, some of the hair from humans or from animals, and then they are taking out everything. They are doing exercise. That is why we have in yoga, and in life, the cat posture. And that is, we call that exercise that’s called, which is that? Marjari. There are many names of the cats. Tigers, lions, all animals, cats, etc., they are all in the same area, and they also are practicing their exercise. When rabbits, deer, and other animals get up, they are stretching. What is that? It is exercise. Therefore, what we call in the world, that all yoga, and in yoga mostly all postures, is from the animal side. So every yoga posture’s name is from an animal’s name. Therefore, from these people, animals, humans are learning why they are doing what they are doing, how they are doing, and therefore it is very, very important to know that yoga means not only a human. Do not say that yoga is only for humans. No, no, no. Yoga is for all creatures. In one saint, saint, bhajan, and he was in meditation with bhajan singing song, so that who is in joy of the cosmic, that he is one with that sound of the song or instrument. And so, one said, with the joy, even the ants, they are dancing. And he said, "These ants which are dancing, they have such beautiful instruments in their legs." Of course, many people said, "What is stupid?" Let them say. But such a great person, he achieved the Cosmic Self. He understood everything, even the earth. The mother earth, but that great saint he knows the father earth. That is yoga. So there are many postures of yoga which are according to the other animals. And there are 84 postures, especially more, the 84 postures that are coming as a yoga exercise. But, of course, now we are creating more and more according to the animals and trees, and so on. That is that in this yoga, in this world. We are human, we are getting the best thing for us from our living. And that living is whatever work we are doing. That is exercise. Even we are going to bring water. We are bringing food. We are cooking, etc. So, my dear, everything is the yoga. And that yoga means everything which is expanded now comes back into the oneness. Everything is melting. All that was created differently is melting, melting again into one. That is, everything is melted. Like in a volcano. In a volcano, there are stones, wood, sand, everything. The oil will melt it, the iron will be melted. Everything, oh man, where are you, Agni? Agni Sāra. Therefore, there is in yoga Agni Sāra, Agni Sāra Prāṇāyāma, Agnisāra Kriyā. You know that in yoga and daily life there are Agnisāra. So this is like from the earth coming that volcano and cleaning everything. Similarly, what we have, this prāṇāyāma or some different techniques in our body. Rishis, they lead many, many things. But they have discipline, and they know when and what. Recently on Facebook, there was in the Himalayas one sādhu. He had no dress, only he had like a nepi, and he was walking in the snow, and he was sitting in the snow and meditating, and he had one dog with him. He is standing, they go together. What is he eating? When is he eating? And where is he sleeping? That is called the yogic kriyās. What are we? We are just nothing, but practice, practice, practice. Go towards the yoga and the life. All my dear brothers, sisters, yogīs, friends around the whole world, I wish you all the best. First of all, I wish you good health—physical, mental, and spiritual. Then I wish you prosperity. I wish you very good health. And you are happy with your families, with your friends, and all our animals which are beside you. Let us go all together into the divine consciousness. You are welcome to send the message, and we will try to send it to them. All the best, my dear. Thank you very much for listening to my voice. And I am so happy that I could do something for you. Blessing. Blessing, blessing, blessing. Thank you very much. Have a nice time, and the same time tomorrow again. I will be with you. Till then, Namo Śivāyoṁ, Namo Śivāy, Namo Śivāyoṁ.
