We are eternal

The essence is oneness, knowledge, and the guru's grace.

Separate drops of rain fall, yet they unite to form flowing water, creeks, rivers, and finally the ocean. The drop and the ocean are not different; we are that oneness. Knowledge is endless, and the cosmic Self is realized beyond the temporary body and its elements like anger or jealousy. These are like air in a balloon; when the body bursts, the air—the space of consciousness—remains. Humans possess knowledge and speech to understand this. A story illustrates this: a professor criticized a meditating yogi, denying God. The yogi noted that a small cherry falling from a tree is harmless, whereas a large melon from such height would injure. This shows divine arrangement is good. The guru's grace is paramount, transcending physical distance. The disciple's connection is in the heart, closer than family. One should not ask the guru for things, as asking creates distance; grace is given spontaneously like a mother's milk.

"All drops unite to become the water that flows. Not one drop alone; all must come together again."

"God has done everything good."

Devadhī, Deva, Devī, Svara, Mahādevakī, Alagpurījī, Mahādevakī, Satguru, Svāmī, Madhvanājī, Bhagavānakī, Satya, Sanātana, Dharmakī, Jaya. Good evening to all sisters, brothers, yogīs, practitioners of yoga, and all other people around the world. I wish to send all of you, from my side, peace, harmony, love, and understanding. We are all the humans of God. For only a certain time do we think in terms of "mine," "yours," and "theirs." And then, my dears, that will go away. We should live in good health, with good awareness, with good help to others, and we should all be one. This is our holy Gurujī: one in all and all in one. It is like rain falling. There are many drops, falling slowly or more strongly. They are all separate, one-by-one drops. But they come together, and all drops unite to become the water that flows. Not one drop alone; all must come together again. Afterwards, they come together even more, forming a little creek. They find a path, and this little waterfall comes to the river. We become stronger and stronger, but as a oneness. And then again, we come into the ocean. We are the ocean, and we are aware as the rainwater, the drops, the flow of the water, and we return there again. This means there is no difference. We are always one—one in all and all in one. If we can understand this, then the whole human world would be very beautiful. We do not know who is good and who is not good. People think differently. But if we say, "As I am, I am like that; as you are, you are that, but we are one," then we understand. Every day, our yoga people are practicing more, and many bring questions. I feel very happy that I can share something, and from them, I can also learn something. I am happy to answer and also to discover, for knowledge is endless. The ocean is the ocean; water is the ocean. And the ocean is drops. And then, from a far distance in space, all oceans together, from above, look like one drop. So we are rising higher and higher to the cosmic Self. But it does not matter if it is a whole ocean or only one drop; we are the One. In that way, we shall learn every day: What am I doing? How long will I be here? Day by day, our time is passing. We have energy, we have all five elements, and many things in the human brain, but finally it will all go away. Yet we will remain ever and ever in the cosmic light. Therefore, in our yoga practice, there are many different kinds of movements. We are separated into five elements. But who is in the body? We know it is God. Our soul inside is like a drop in the ocean, and so we will be eternal. We are eternal. We are not only temporary; temporary is only the body. Why are we fighting for this body? Why are we in this body with our ego? There are many feelings and different things in our body: anger, hate, jealousy. From where do they awaken in our body? It is like a balloon, and in the balloon there is air. How long will this remain? The balloon will expand and explode, but you will not see the air. The balloon is expanded and splits. There is only one sound of the balloon, but not of the air. We did not see the air because air is air. What is that air? Space. That space is everywhere, and we have to understand and become that, like the whole universe: all space and space and space. Other animals, we know they are doing something, definitely. But we humans have more knowledge, sense, and speech. We know what we are doing, and whatever God is doing, it is good. Do not think that something is not good. Our holy Gurujī once told a story. He was giving a lecture in Gujarat, where there were many people and many sādhus. Every day, one or two sādhus give a lecture. One day, they asked Gurujī to speak. There was a story about a yogī. All are yogīs—if you are meditating, praying, working, everything is that of a yogī. There was one man, about 25 or 30 years old. Every day he came to the park to meditate. His Gurujī had given him techniques on how to practice mantra, how to sit, and how to express his inner feelings for others' knowledge. Of course, we know we are breathing in and out. There was a professor at the university who taught students. He always went for a walk in the park. He was very elegant, thinking, "I am a professor at the university," perhaps an officer of the whole university. He walked round and round every day, and at the same time, that yogī sat with closed eyes, meditating. The professor thought very highly of himself: "I am the best in studies." And he saw this person sitting under a tree for one or two hours. He thought, "This person is not studying. He doesn't know what he should do; he is sitting and doing nothing, wasting his time." The professor decided to ask the young man what his problem was. The professor had a very nice head, like the head of the British people, a very nice stick in hand, a tie (kravat), and a nice watch. He came near the man sitting under the tree, who was meditating with a mālā. The professor said, "But, yogī..." The yogī did not want to open his eyes. The professor said again, "Yogī." The yogī thought, 'Maybe he has a problem in the throat, not me.' The third time, the professor said, "Hey, gentleman." He opened his eyes and said, "Yes, sir." The professor asked, "What are you doing here?" The yogī said, "I am meditating." "For what?" "For God." "Did you see God?" "I will see." "Did you ever see?" "Many." "You don't know, it's stupid. There is no God. There is no spirituality. This is a problem. That is why in the world there is no harmony, fighting, etc. They think, 'I have studies, I know science, and there is no God. We know everything.' Did you not learn something?" The yogī said, "Well, I have learned also. But why are you asking me about this?" The professor said, "My child, I can tell you. Come to my university, and I will give you knowledge. You can study and then become human." The yogī said, "I am learning, and I am human." "But why are you sitting under the tree?" "God has done everything." The professor said, "God is not good; he is stupid." So now, learned, great learned people, some think there is no God; they are stupid. "What? God is not? Have no knowledge of God?" The yogī said, "Yes." "Then tell me, what is not good and what is good?" "It is very, very simple to tell this. You are sitting under a beautiful big tree with cherries. Beside it in the garden, there are many big, big melons lying on the earth. They are on plants, just like a plant." The professor said, "Yes, and more? What do you say? Oh, and?" "This cherry plant is so very little, very gentle. And God gives so big, big melons to that. God should know: for big, big trees should get big melons, and for little plants, give them some little something." The professor said, "That’s all? What do you mean, boy?" The yogī said, "Please, wait." And he said to the professor, "Please, give him the knowledge." The professor said, "Don’t talk about me. Tomorrow, come to my university, and I will put you in the class." The yogī said, "Wait, please." Then he looked a little bit up and said, "God, please give me knowledge of this principle, Professor." And what happened? A little cherry fell down from the big tree onto the head of the professor. He reacted like this and that. The yogī said, "What happened?" "Oh, nothing, it was a cherry that fell down." The yogī said, "Sir, it’s only this little. If this cherry tree had big, big melons and one fell on your head, that melon would break your 'melon' also." The professor said, "Yes, this is right. It’s good that melons are on the ground. That was a good God." The yogī said, "Next, tomorrow when you come for walking in the park, I will give you the second lesson myself." So, God has done everything good. Our knowledge is good knowledge, and we are doing very great things. Many doctors, many professors are doing great, good things, nothing bad. But sometimes people think that God is nothing, only we are. One day we will be under the earth or in the fire. Tell your knowledge that, "No, no, I will not die." Tell God, "God, I will not come." You need not ask anymore. All five elements will split it. So, my dear, God is God. Every country, every different part of the world, they all have their God—not only from these countries or those countries. Language is different; feeling is different. But they are feeling there is God. Therefore, we should all practice both knowledge and learning. But morning and evening, at least, we should have prayers. It is God who will give us more strength, peace, harmony, and the feeling of oneness with God. We should all try to become one. And "one" does not mean only what I tell you; that is not all. Everyone has their own thoughts and knowledge. But when we see each other, we know that we are human, and so are the animals, the vegetation, the waters, the earth. Therefore, yogīs said you should do everything. What is everything? Help everyone, work, protect the animals, help the humans, and practice our yogic sādhanā—both outer exercises and inner exercises. Finally, God is our inner one. He is our father, our mother; he makes work for us. Someone said God is like an engineer. Our thoughts, our thinking, everything inside is like a technology. But more or less, all this will not be finished. God has given so many nerve systems, bones, organs, many things in the body. But there is one button, and when that button is pressed, everything is gone. As long as petrol is there, the motor will run. When there is no more petrol, even the best car will not run. Similarly, the petrol of spirituality, our connection to God, will take us there without petrol. We have many lessons from our holy Gurujī, Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān. From very childhood, I was with holy Gurujī. He is my guru. I have many, many stories, and I am writing them now. I was often here in Europe, taking care of many people who want to become yogīs and practice. Sometimes I came to Gurujī for festivals: Dīvālī, Mahāprabhujī's, Samādhi, etc. Gurujī said, "You should come sometimes for a longer time, and I will go with you to Gujarat and India everywhere—to my bhaktas in Kolkata, Mumbai, everywhere." I was not so intelligent for him. I always said, "Gurujī, after, Gurujī after." He was Gurujī here in Europe two or three times. The last time he was here for Guru Pūrṇimā in Strylky. Gurujī stayed here for about a month, and people came from all over Europe. Then Gurujī went and told me I should come sometimes for Diwali or other festivals. I said, "Yes, Gurujī, yes, yes." One day, I was here in Střílka. There was a very nice, big tree where Gurujī sometimes sat, and I was sitting there. It was lunchtime, so I told all practitioners, "You go and have your lunch, please, and I will sit under this tree." I was sitting under the tree, looking at my house where I am sitting now, where holy Gurujī's room is. I was thinking about holy Gurujī walking there. How nice it was. I was thinking about holy Gurujī, and I looked up into the sky. In the sky space, I saw Gurujī. It is like now, from this glass, here she is sitting in front of me (Umāpurī), and somebody is coming here through her. Like that, Gurujī gave me blessings and said, "Maheshī, on this Guru Pūrṇimā you should come, because I do not know how many Guru Pūrṇimās I will have." Then it was gone. So I told her in the ashram, "Gurujī is calling me, and I have to go. This Guru Pūrṇimā, you should do it here, people. Gurujī is asking." I went to India, and when I came, Gurujī was smiling. He said in high words, "I thought that you would, this Guru Pūrṇimā, really you would come. It is very nice that you came. We will have many things to learn and to speak about." I said, "Gurujī, what should I learn, or will you help me and tell me?" He said, "I will talk about something." Slowly, slowly, it was time for Gurujī's time to go. I will tell more stories about Gurujī sometimes. The guru and disciples are more than mother and father. Mother and father, if they are good, it is okay; they will be for the whole life. But when children grow a little, they think, "I am strong, I am good, I am better than you, father. You do not know." You know what it is like now in Kali Yuga. Every real guru takes the disciple into their heart. It does not matter where you are, the distance. As far as that distance is, that close is the Gurudeva. Because when you are at a far distance, he is taking care: what will happen to my disciple? How will he be? He should be there; he should go. When you are close, sometimes he is okay, very happy, and then gives you so much work. So if the disciple tells Gurujī, "Can I go sometimes and come back?" that is a very different story from Gurujī. Tomorrow I will tell. Gurujī said, "As you are distant, you are close. And you are close, you are in distance, but the time will come when the body will come closer also." Gurujī gave me so many words and lessons. Then Gurujī called me, and we talked about many things. Gurujī, like a father and mother to their children, at the time they are going to die or something, writes something for their last will—a testament. So my holy Gurujī wrote also for me. And I was angry. Why? He said, "What I am telling you, do not be... what I am telling." But it is good. Sometimes it will be good. So many things come in this, and many stories will be there for me. For many, many months, sometimes a whole year, Gurujī did not come to me. Sometimes when Gurujī comes in my dream, I am very scared. In a very, very sad time, I was feeling very happy. But Gurujī is not like that. I was always afraid because I might not do something good for Gurujī, or I might not do something for Gurujī's work. So always, when I have a dream of Gurujī and I am really awake in the dream, then I will wake up. Gurujī is for me more than father, mother, all. He is God for me. Today, according to the Western months, is the holy Gurujī's samādhi day. We were thinking, I was thinking, to observe Gurujī's samādhi seven days after Diwali. But in this Western calendar, it is today. We are doing everything despite the problems of Corona; otherwise, I would be going to India now. Today at noon, about 11 o'clock, exactly the same time I was sitting under that tree, I was walking. It was time for eating, around 11:20 or 11:30. I was walking and remembering Gurujī. I was walking, coming, everything, but I felt myself that I am working or walking behind Gurujī. Then I got a message. This message is for me, maybe, but Gurujī has given it like that. I think you should talk. Better you should learn, read there. I give you the paper so that you will see how I was always there for Gurujī's samādhi time. I gave him that I was there. This time I am not coming there, so what? See how Gurujī is. I think he was here, Gurujī, today. But how? I am not making this up myself. Someone taught me this and that. So what? I think he will read very nicely, slowly, and well, so that everybody can understand good English, and then German, Czech. "I was walking somewhere with holy Gurujī, and then suddenly we were at the airport. He was wearing his cotton cap, which can be tied under the chin. Holy Gurujī turned to me and said, 'I am going to Europe, to Svāmījī.' I said, 'But Gurujī, you have no documents, only a photocopy of your passport.' He did not reply, just looked away as if this was no problem. After some time, some airport staff appeared and started preparing the launch. They were excitedly telling, "Gurujī is here, Gurujī is here, prepare it well." Then the flight was open and other people started coming, but holy Gurujī was still nowhere to be seen. The launch started to fill, and I was afraid that Gurujī would miss the flight. I went to search for him. Finally, he appeared again from somewhere. I told him that we have to go, as the flight is open, and then I woke up. This was a dream in the morning of the 31st of October by Svāmī Gyāneśwar. In Jaipur ashram." Now in Czech: "It is a dream from this morning of Svāmī Gyāneśwar in Jaipur ashram. I went somewhere with holy Gurujī, and suddenly we met at the airport. He had his cotton cap, which he had attached to his beard. Holy Gurujī turned to me and said, 'I am going to Europe for Svāmījī.' And I said, 'But Gurujī, you do not have any documents. We only have a photocopy of your belt.' He did not answer; he just looked to the side as if it was not a problem. After some time, the flight attendants appeared and started to prepare the cabin. They were very excited and said, 'There is Gurujī here, prepare it well.' Then the gates for the plane opened, and other people started to walk. But holy Gurujī was nowhere to be seen. The cabin started to fill up, and I was afraid that Gurujī would miss the flight." So, what can I tell you more than this? You will feel, I feel, and I cannot tell further. Only that Gurujī shows mercy to us. Where I am and where we are, all there Gurujī is there. Understand? But it is like this: you have to get his heart. Do not ask anything for. When you try to ask something, the guru will not say and not give you. You see, it is like automatically the mother gives milk to the child. You can cry and cry; it will not go. So do not ask anything. And when you ask, it will create distance. That is it. Always Gurujī says it. Where are there other bhajans, nice bhajans? Gurujī also offers good bhajans. We will see again. So, Siddhip Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Satguru Svāmī Madhvanājī Bhagavān, Devādhi Deva, Deveśvara Mahādeva, Siddhip Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Jalak Purījī Mahādeva. And you know that Līlā Amṛt of holy Gurujī have written verbally, and you can always read how much is written about Alak Purījī at that time. And Mahāprabhujī said, and Mahāprabhujī read a little booklet about Alak Purījī. You should, when you are... tomorrow we will put it here, and you will learn this whole thing. It is about one hour. So tomorrow after prayer, we will play it. That is very good because it will come on that day to the whole world. Thank you.
