The first sound came from the ocean

A spiritual discourse on the sound-form of the Supreme, Nāda Rūpa Parabrahma.

"Nāda means the sound, resonance. And that sound is throughout the whole Brahma-randhra."

"The horse is a very high soul... the horse is the complete male."

Swami Madhavan Ji addresses practitioners, exploring the primordial sound (nāda) that permeates creation, linking it to the ocean and the womb. He narrates the story of King Sāgar's horse sacrifice and the encounter with the sage Kapila Muni, weaving in themes of divine principles, the balance of male and female energies within all beings, and the holiness of the horse.

Om Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai, Devādhī Dev, Deveśvar Mahādev Kī Jai, Satguru Svāmī Madhavān Jī Bhagavān Kī Jai, Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jai, Devādhī Dev, Bhagavān from the whole universe, Alak Purī Jī Mahādev Kī Jai. Good evening, sisters, brothers, all practitioners of yoga in daily life, and all other yoga teachers, masters, and their students. We are all together. I worship our paramparā gurus, and I respect very much all around the whole world. This is our work, which we went with the tratak, and this trátak with that light that was just opening, and there are many experiences. Very many techniques, hundreds of techniques, were given. Then we came to Nāda Rūpa Parabrahma. Nāda means the sound, resonance. And that sound is throughout the whole Brahma-randhra. Nothing is empty. Through that, we are making this sound. And what we call the mother of this world, our world, the mother of this our world is the ocean. Voda, and life begins from there. And there is the resonance that we have here, Kāṃsa. Our Kaṁsa, a nāstika, śel. So, here there is to blowing. Do we have here? Bring it from there, so tomorrow we will make it. That's nāda rūpa parabrahma. Nāda is sound. Rupa, the sound, everywhere. Beauty, everything. Now, the rūpa of Parabrahman, that is Brahman beyond. In this, the Kundalini and chakras, you know this one, and from the beginning and then to the complete, not the end. If I will say from the beginning to the top, complete? No. This is everlasting. That Kundalini chakras, so this sound, that we will have our satsaṅg, and tomorrow we will bring it. When that sound goes, then it is in the whole cosmos. Only the ocean can hold all the water. The ocean itself is great, very great. That's called Sāgara. And Sāgara, another story, is very beautiful. How many hundreds of his sons? Well, people are talking about how many disciples, not disciples, the son of Sāgar. No. When one is a king, and that Sāgar king, he was covering the whole, let's say, earth. And there, he is the king. So there is a father and a mother. They are for the king as a daughter and a brother. And so, when they get the children in their kingdom, they are all children for the king. The children are born, they have a mother and father, and they bring their child to the king, and they said, "We are your child, and we have your child here." So that means, at that time in the kingdoms, and even the same thing we can say when the prime minister of your country, they are not only for their families. But the whole country, no matter who is who, they are all like a father of that king or minister, or the king. Ten král, nebo ten minister, prostě ten, kdo vládne, by měl být jako otcem všech, celé té své země. Some things, how many? He has so many children. How is it that he has so many children? These are the people who don't understand. To říkají lidé, kteří tomu nerozumí. So similarly, also that Sāgar. No, similarly, that Sāgar. And that story will be next time; I will tell you. Ovšem, ten příběh Ságarův si povíme příště. A teď Kapilmuni. Kapilamuni je o jednom králi. A tento král měl takový krásný obřad, prováděl. Jagja, and there are different kinds of yajñas. Not negative. It's pure, good, etc. So that's called aśva yajña. For the horse, so then they begin to make the yajña. And then, a beautiful, strong, good horse, and they leave the horse free. Where the horse goes, no one should take the horse in their hand. The horse is a very high soul. It is said that those who are born in the mother's womb, not from eggs. And everyone who gives birth has their children. And these all have two principles. Male and female. And have you seen on that? There is Śiva and Pārvatī. That is very important, so it doesn't matter which humans or animals. And when they are coming, then what is that? There is also another picture. Now, it is Shiva. Shiva is the creator. Shiva has no father and no mother. Neither the womb of the mother, it is he who himself brought it. And he got these two principles. And this principle is male and female. Then he gave further. Now, in the male, half male and half female. Or half the female and the male. In this, both that energy is there, feeling is there. So, in our whole body, as a man, we have more feelings than females inside. That's why they are going more towards the female. They are searching, and also the female is searching for the male. It has to be, and God has created this. And so for the men, it's the female's feelings, and females have the male's feelings. So they balance each other. That is what we call the seed. That seed, prāṇa, and water: these are all five elements. Now, the female has the breast. But the male also has breasts. The mother can get milk from them. Matka může dávat mateřské mléko. May not. But if it is happening, the mother died, and the child is there, it can, if the father will, give that love to the child. It can give the milk, but we are taking because the other mother gives us milk. These are only symbols of the breast. Now, it is said if you have the priest here, man then is not complete male. Only one, the real one, what is called the man that was in Satyugas, and Bhagavān Rāma or Śiva, and the story is very long, but that was God Śiva said there was a fighting between devas and rākṣasas. Always, from the beginning until now, but with some balancing in that. For example, two children are fighting. But the mother will concentrate and balance them. Or, father also. Similarly, after many, many things, Śiva tells, turning off the ocean, and from the ocean, you will get everything that you need. And so I will not tell the whole story, but from that comes also the horse, the cow, the elephant, etc. And so the horse, also a very holy one, otherwise buffaloes, cows, deer, many, all these, they all have the symbol of the priest. But the horse does not. The horse has no symbol, like the breast. Therefore, the horse is the complete male. That is the one which you cannot find anywhere. So according to that, when a king has a kingdom, they all tell them, "They are my children, my people, my people." O svých lidech, to je můj národ, to jsou mí lidé, mé děti. So that king, Sagar, he made that yajña. And that is making how long or this, that depends. And they send the horse. A part of that ceremony was a horse. A šlo o to, kdo toho koně najde a skrotí ho, nebo chytí. A tak ho všichni hledali, kde je. A ten kůň mezi tím se ocitl v aśramu. Which one was? Kapil Muni. And as I am Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar, I am from Kapil Muni. And in the Bhagavad Gītā, it is written about Kapila Muni. Great. So the horse was there, he's grazing there, and many armies came, searching there, and the horse will not come. So again they told the king, "We cannot go because it is the ṛṣi's āśram, and no one can go." So they were asking, "Please, can you give her horse?" And Kapil Muni was meditating. He has a mala, like this, using it. We have like that, oh, sorry. The ṛṣis were meditating the whole year; they would not stop, not only for one day or one month. From Diwali to Diwali, so all the children of the Sagar were taking the stones and throwing them at the Kapil Muni's. Far distance, and here and there. And some stone came on his face. Then Kapil Muni came out from his samādhi, and he opened his eyes when the ṛṣis, when the yogīs, when that one, it's not only that, I will always say yes, my dear. No, no,... no. Ṛṣis and yogīs are not always just kind and kind. You see God Rāma, we saw it, very humble, very humble,... But when they do not understand and become negative, ale když jim nikdo nerozumí a je negativní, tak pak Śiva, or Rāma, or Bůh zautočí. A tak ti synové Sāgara, and the ṛṣi opened his eyes. The blood was falling, and he looked with his eyes all burned, where people were standing there completely. The fire burned completely, and there was like... Give only ass. Then someone went to Sagar and happened this and this. Then that king, he comes to the Gurudev and asks him, "Please, please, give life to my children again, please." Then again, he said, "I bless you." And that was, you know, it was a few days before. Now, last, before we had that again when Bhagavān Rām was there, the Sāgar was there. Yes, you have seen that? So that is yuga to yugas. They will come again. And so the horse, the horse is very holy, divine, powerful, but we humans, now we don't understand. They are killing them, eating them. Wait, wait, the time will come so that in the ocean the cones sunk, and first sound is in that ocean. Of course, the water, ocean has its sound very much, but when we get that sound, that always... For pūjā, we are using this. This we will do tomorrow, what's happening. And therefore, nāda rūpa para-brahma, right now. Nāda rūpa para-brahma. That sound, nāda, is from the ocean. From the water, from the womb of the mother, and that tomorrow.
