Overcome the fear

Fear is a universal obstacle that must be overcome to realize oneness. All living beings possess the same divine essence and experience fear, including animals who are often afraid of humans. Humans claim spiritual knowledge yet remain bound by fear of loss, pain, and death. Even skilled professionals and caregivers operate with underlying fear. The spiritual path requires transcending this fear through awareness and grace. A true guru embodies this fearlessness, providing refuge. Ultimately, merging into oneness dissolves all fear.

Oṁ Mahāviṣṇu, Gurudevo Maheśvara, Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ. Dhyāna Mūlam Guru Mūrti, Pūjā Mūlam Guru Padam, Mantra Mūlam Guru Vākya, Mokṣa Mūlam Guru Kṛpā. Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Ārādhy Bhagavān Śrī Alakapurījī Mahādev Kī Jai, Devājī Dev Deveśvar Mahādev Kī Jai, Ārādhy Bhagavān Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī Kī Jai, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānjī Bhagavān Kī Jai. Good evening, my dear sister-brothers around the whole world. Yoga in daily life around the whole world. From my side, I want to gather all in that one place: all different ashrams, yoga centers, yoga teachers, yoga practitioners. And I bow down towards all other religions and spiritualities. Keep this in your mind, what I am telling you every day, because as our Satguru Dev Swami Madhavānanda said, "As one in all, at all in one." Also, each and every creature, they are all God’s ātmā. So it doesn’t matter if they are very tiny animals, like a mosquito or even smaller. They are all from God. Of course, sometimes people are afraid. If we go somewhere in the forest and a tiger is coming, what will we do? You may be harmed, or you will be very afraid. So we should remain at a distance because they know, and we don’t know. Therefore, let all live where they are living, and when we are going somewhere, we should be careful. We should know to take precautions. Jīvā is the jīvā. Jīvā is life. Jīva and Paramātmā. That Jīva is of the Paramātmā. That Paramātmā is the Paramātmā God, but not only our God. Do not say that we are of our religion and we have only our God and not others. If we are harming other creatures, then you may have your religions or anything, but it’s not right. Because every living being is living. They all have pain, they are afraid, and they also have illness. It is known God has given. There are some creatures that live only for one day, but there is a Jīva. If we are yogīs or spiritual people, we are praying, reading holy books, singing holy songs, talking about God. In that, we know that everything is inside that, and so animals also know, but they are all afraid—elephants, tigers, snakes, birds, etc. They are afraid of us. But a bird will sit on the head of a tiger. These birds are sitting, and the animals, big like elephants or tigers, after eating, they are sitting, and birds come and take from their mouths. Even crocodiles, when they have eaten enough and are sitting on the beach, and there is something out of their mouth from eating other animals, many birds and little animals also come and take. But they will not come to the humans, because they are very afraid of humans. So that is. Now we will say that we are holy people, we are humans, and we know that, and we will not destroy, and so on. But others are afraid of us. And we will say that we are saints, that we know all this, that we will get better. Why in humans is there so much pain? Why is there so much pain in us? Why do we have so many problems in ourselves? Why are we humans like this? I will also say, if a tiger is coming close to me, then I will also be afraid. But sometimes humans say, "I am not afraid." Then go, lift up the snake or the scorpion, then we say, "Oh God, no!" We are afraid; we have fear. And as long as we have fear, we cannot go further. But not that kind of fear; we have to give protection. That we know. It is said, you have your knowledge and everything, and we should take care of ourselves. It is said that we are yogīs, and when we are sitting in meditation, eyes closed, we say, "Relax the whole body, be relaxed, be happy." Don’t be afraid. And suddenly, a little lizard is climbing on the wall, and it falls down on your thigh during deep meditation. This is what is called a gekko. And if it falls down here, one immediately goes, "Oh God, oh, everybody!" And all four, five, or whatever was in the hall, would say, "Oh, what happened?" Fear. So fear is not easy to get out. We have to be aware, but there are some great yogīs. There was Vālmīki Ṛṣi, in Dvāpar Yuga, when Bhagavān Rām, and before Bhagavān Rām, he became so deep in meditation for many years. Many animals and spiders and everything were crawling around him, but he was in meditation. So, first become free from such a problem or such a feeling—afraid. Don’t be afraid of anything. If little animals come on our body, we can just say, okay, we will put it out. But when it’s going on our arm, then we say, "Oh! Fear, fear, my dear, fear." If you are not fearful of these mosquitoes and little things, then what will you think about others? So we should not be afraid, and we should not be like this, "My God, if this or that for someone." We should not be afraid. When it will be, it will be. When not, it will not be. Also, the animals, they know they are waiting. That is very important to come into our heart. The heart is a very, very sensitive thing. If a little ant bites our skin, immediately the heart beats more. That means still we are not far. And one day, you don’t know where we will be, and that’s why we don’t want to die, though we are very ill and have a lot of pain. We can’t eat, we can’t walk, but still we don’t want to die. That is life, the death. And who told you about the death? Why are you afraid? Yes, we are afraid. Śaṅkarācārya, Bhagavān Śaṅkarācārya, when he received one video from that... so two persons were walking with Śaṅkarācārya. Others don’t know, but only he knows. They are two friends with him. One is alive, and one is dead. So, who is alive? Always with him, as alive. And then there is death, and that’s also going with him, like this. Death is not, how to say, sad or afraid. But he knows; he’s smiling. And he said, "Shankara, I am your friend, and I go with you. One day, I will be one with you, or you will be with me." That is, but we all, including myself—first, I will say myself—so I am talking, I am speaking, I am saying, it’s my words only. But my own inner stillness, I did not come out of everything. But one thing that we have for us is confidence. For example, when the embryo is in the mother’s body, we don’t know how difficult it is for that little embryo. We don’t know yet what kind of embryo it is, but the mother knows. And the mother is afraid. For what? For that embryo, my child. Or even the eggs of the birds. They are also afraid someone will take my eggs away. So first is the mother, and after, when the baby comes from the mother’s womb or tears out of the egg, all these babies come to the mother and father after. So, the mother has more fear for these babies. And babies come from the womb, outside, with fear. I have many horses and cows. Last year, from our horse, one little baby came out, and just my driver helped to bring the baby out. In a few minutes, the horse baby was standing. And then? He went to the mother, though he was the one person who took him out and cleaned him and so on. After about two hours, I went to see the baby. I went to see the baby, and the mother said to the baby, "Don’t go away, be near," and the baby was also hiding under her belly. And I was coming close, and then he came and put my fingers in his mouth. It’s so beautiful. But when I want to take it with me, no, the mother will say, hmmm. So, love and fear. Fathers will come, of course. Fathers also have a lot of love and fear for their children. And so it is also after your friends, two friends. Then, students to the teacher. The students are afraid of what the teacher will do, and the teachers are also afraid, because my students, I want to take them like my children. My students like this, and then further we are coming and we are learning. Now we are afraid from learning. If we are not learning, then we are lost, and then you come to the guru, "Oh, thank you, Gurudev is there." And Gurudev gives love and good. But Gurudev says, practice with it. In the beginning, it’s good. But then again, the student is afraid of the Guru because the Guru gives you knowledge, or more. But the Guru himself is also not afraid, but I can tell you that he is afraid, because my disciples have my life on it. And then, when we will die, yes, there is a death. It will follow us, and then it will stop there, on the border. And one is looking, "Why don’t you go with me still?" He said, "From this border, I cannot cross." My border is the other side: death. And on the other side here is Gurudev, Brahmā, Śiva, whatever you say. And that side is also they are the death, and they have their duties. They will come; they will not do anything wrong, but we are afraid of that. So we have to come out of the fear. And fear is there; you think, "I will lose something." There are many, many fears: about money, about parents, our brothers, sisters, our students, our schools. Many things. Now I have a profession, and I am working in it. But also, I know if I am doing good or not. The doctor, the surgeon, they come to the hospital, and at the operation, they know they are perfect, but still their heart is jumping because if a little mistake, one cut, life is gone. And they know exactly how to do it, but they still have a trauma because there is only one small mistake with the scalpel, and the patient can die. So the person is given an injection, and he can sleep. But the doctor, the surgeon, and those working around him, how quickly they are concentrating. Sometimes they are working from the right hand, and all the time, for two hours, they are operating. And then they say, "Nurses, leave it here." I go to the bathroom, and this is coming, stretching, and this and that. But that doctor, he knows his concentration is on that patient. And he will come again like a baby, now sleeping. Mother is working in the kitchen, but all the time looking if my child is still there. So, is that our God, our masters, or our gurus? They are for all, not only for one or two disciples, family, or children. That’s okay, but when our Gurudev, Mahāprabhujī, is there... Oh, Holi Guruji, then all are there, and so is that which takes all away the fear. And we hope, this life or the next life or the next life, we shall come to see for everyone, all in one. All bhaktas, all people of God are good. For them, all is one. Now we have made here one video, and a lot of things are there: Vishnu, God Vishnu, and they are also, sometimes, very controlling. It can happen. But they know it is like this. There were very great many things to do. So, all my dears who are listening around the whole world, please come out of the fear. Fear is from losing. So, become free. And free means will become one. And when we are like one, I want to be one only. Then all will be gone. That’s why Guru Kṛpāhi gave them. Therefore, we have our prayers, which I’m writing always, and so this, we had our āratī prayers, and after that we have the stuti. Namo, Namo Guru Dev Jī Namo. Namo means I bow down to you. I bow down to you. Namo, Namo Guru Dev Jī. O Guru Dev, you are God. Namo, Namo Guru Dev Jī Koṭi, Koṭi Koṭi. Koṭi means hundreds more or thousands more times. Praṇām, I bow down to you, my Lord, again and again and again. Namo, Namo, Gurū Devājī, Koṭi, Koṭi, Praṇām. Palak, Palak, Prabhu, Vinati. Palpal, it means with my eyelid. You know the eyelid? It goes up and down, the eyelid. This is a palpitation, every second. Palpitation, again and again. Palak, palak, Prabhu, Prabhu, God. He’s the Lord, God. O Prabhu, O Bhagvān, that Prabhu who is on this earth, with Guru, etc. Vinati, Vinati, I am again and again asking you. Śuk Sāgar Nidhyānam. Śuk means relaxed, happiness, no problems. That sukha is good things, happy things. Sāgar, so how much we are happy, like an ocean. Sagar. Sagar is the ocean. Nija nāma. Nija. So every day, always is the name of Nāma Liyāsava Uvare. Palak palak Prabhu vinati. Sukhasāgara nija nāma. So learn to feel our self. Palak palak... is the eyelid. You see, we are sitting in front of them, we are looking, but always our eyelids are moving. And so we should be all the times, no fear. Palak palak prabhu, he Bhagavān, hey Gurudev, Prabhu, vinatī, I pray to you, please. Sukh Sagar Nijanam, give me the name of your number of mantras, or etcetera. Sukh Sāgar Nija Nām Nija, all the time, rest of it. And my name, that is that name. Nāma liyā sabhūbhare, O Gurudev. Nāma means name. Liyā, I speak to him. Sabh means all. Bhūbhare, more than this. Ānanda hotā apār. Through this, O my Gurudev, due to Thee, my ānanda, O Gurudev, through Your ānanda which You give me, it has become endless and endless. Anandhothapar. Everywhere I look, everywhere I go, everywhere, sleeping, walking, all I am in one place. Aap Satguru me śiṣyehu, Gurudev. You are my Gurudev, and I am your disciple. Aap mām prāṇa ādhār, aap mām. Aap means you, Gurudev. Mam is my inside. Prāṇa is my prāṇa. Ādhār, I am only living on your prāṇa. Satguru, Aap Satguru me shishyahu, Aap mam prāṇa ādhāra Param Haṁsa Gurū Dev Jī, Param Haṁsa Param Ātmā and Haṁsa, you know, in Himalaya near the Mansarovar, that is, what is that? Swan. When the crow flies, what does he make? Pat, pat, pat... and the swan is getting like this. So you are all haṃsas here, all. Here is that, the body is that. Parama-haṁsa, and where? Mansarovar. Man, it is in our man. Sarovar is ocean, in my heart. It is that my heart, that is my lake. And in my lake are two flags, is my heart. That is Paramāhaṁsa Gurudevjī, therefore my Gurudev is that Paramāhaṁsa. Tin Lok Ke Dev, and you are all three. You are the Tin Lok Ke Dev. It is from the three words. It is the God there, that is. Brahmā, Earth, Brahman, and all three. So this is our life, then the Deva’s life and the Cosmic life. So, Paramahaṁsa Gurudev Jī, Tījn Lok Ke De, Surnar Muni Sab Sant Jana, Nit Utt Karata Se, Surnar, the hero, the human, the Muni who is all the time making mantra, bhajan, everything. All saints, all saintly sadhus, they are all. Sur nara muni sab sant jan, nit ut karte sev. Every day, it means every day. It, when we wake up in the morning. Karte sev, then we make the praṇām to Gurudeva, or meditation, or the prayers, and etc. Aap Satguru Mein Shishya Hoon, Aap Mām Pranā Ādhār Paramahaṁsa Gurudev Jī, Teen Lok Ke Dev Suranar Sīāvar Rāmchandra Kī Je, Sīāvar Rāmchandra Kī Je, Pāvan Sudhānumān Kī Alakapurī Jī Kī Namaha. Deva dī Deva Deveśvara Mahā Deva kī jai, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānanda jī kī, Ācārya Bhagavān Śrī Dīpa Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī kī. Om Om Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ... Hi, Nāma Karta Prabhudeep Karta, Mahāprabhudeep Karta, Hi Kevalam, Viśwa Guru Paramahaṁsī Svāmī Maheśvarānanda Gurudeva Kī Jai.
