Yoga comes from God Shiva

The coronavirus is like a serpent that approaches softly as we rest, its poison potent even when we feel safe. Our vigilance must remain. The human being is composed of five sheaths. The physical body is the food sheath, annamaya kośa. Next is the vital energy sheath, prāṇamaya kośa, which is life itself and Paramātmā. Then comes the mental sheath, manomaya kośa. The mind moves at the highest speed; it can bind us or take us to the cosmic. This is followed by the intellectual sheath, vijñānamaya kośa, and the bliss sheath, ānandamaya kośa. We exist in three states: waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. Yoga is the science given for realizing this, extending beyond postures to practices like brahmari prāṇāyāma. Maintain your practice and discipline.

"The mind can kill us, or the mind can bring us to the cosmic."

"Yoga is that Śiva, and that Śiva brings that."

Good evening to all sisters and brothers around the world, to Yoga in Daily Life, to all yoga teachers, students, ashrams, and yoga centers of every kind. Respect to all. I say to all, Oṁ Namo Nārāyaṇa. In different countries, it is various times. Some countries are clearing of the corona, while many are still suffering. It is said there is still a chill in certain lands, and people strive hard to overcome. I have been in India for about five days and have seen that the coronavirus has greatly subsided here. Still, people remain very concentrated and vigilant in controlling it. The government of India tried very hard and continues to do so. Thus, India is better than other countries I was in last year. We hope it will end. But you see, when corona leaves this last time, perhaps it will leave something more behind. There is a snake in Mexico that goes down, but it strikes and then departs. In India and Afghanistan, there is a snake that comes during the monsoon. Farmers work and then rest in their fields after half an hour or an hour. There is a snake that comes very slowly, softly, and sits on a person's chest. It releases a kind of poison, so the person feels very sleepy and heavy. That snake seeks the air exhaled by the human and enjoys it. For the snake, it is like some people taking tobacco or something similar. Soon, as the human breathes out, the snake takes the air. And when the person inhales, the snake breathes into their mouth. The person suddenly becomes uncomfortable, the snake beats its tail and runs away. Many people die, unless someone knows a medicine. So, corona is that kind of snake. We are resting, relaxed, nice under a tree in our farm, and here comes the corona snake. You think it's okay, comfortable. But its poison is terrible and powerful. So it is with corona. We say, "Okay, I'm okay, I'm okay." Yes, you are okay, I am okay. But corona is not okay. We touch our hands and touch others, thinking it is nothing, but it is that corona. Therefore, you may think, "I'm in India, it's very hot, and I'm perfectly okay?" Good, very good. But even if one person dies, we are sad. Therefore, wash your hands, as your government people have always told you so much. Very, very good. When you sleep in your bed and think, "There is no corona, I'm okay," you do not know what is on your pillow. The pillow holds this air, nice, and some trace from where you have touched others. So please, let us take care for all. We know that, especially for our Yoga in Daily Life in Delhi and around the world, in many, all countries, they practice yoga. They don't eat egg, they don't eat meat, they don't eat anything from chickens or... the kitchens, or I don't know what all, and alcohol and these things. And that is why they are dying, you know? We have been making another research for nearly two months, with many Yoga in Daily Life doctors asking people from around the world. We can see that Yoga in Daily Life people are mostly healthier than others anywhere. But not only that—you don't eat meat, alcohol, fish, eggs, and this—but somehow they are lazy. They have yoga in their life, but they are lazy. They say, "Okay, I can eat ice cream, and I can take this, and today I will not do yoga, and I lie down." Then I am not happy with that. That you will do yoga is the science of humans, and yoga is given by God Śiva, you know. That is the space and the consciousness, but we do not know what that is. Which, this or that, is the consciousness or the space? And Śiva was not that. It will be still, but it is first. That first, slowly, slowly, comes: the five elements, that is the body. Our physical body is the annamaya kośa. "Anna" generally means the seeds of fruits or grass. Grass is everything; maybe we can eat anything, but we are eating from that—corn or other fruits. Annamaya kośa is the food, nutrition, etc. That's called annamaya. Then prāṇamaya kośa, prāṇas. Prāṇa, we don't know, and we cannot. Mostly, we'll say prāṇa is the ātmā, or ātmā is the prāṇa, or prāṇa is death, or death is prāṇa. It is very hard to know prāṇa. Prāṇamaya kośa, prāṇa, and that prāṇa is life, death. Is there no prāṇa? Prāṇa is Paramātmā. Paramātmā, prāṇa, annamaya, prāṇamaya. Then manomaya kośa, mana, mind. The mind is the highest speed. No one is higher than the other, only. For example, I will tell you something, and I will finish my word, you will know, yes, that it is manomaya kośa. What is that? For example, very quickly, you will see it is that. Sun. It means we are already the sun. Manomaya kośa. Man. And man, there are many different kinds of men. Man maraṇa mamatā mari marmar gayā śarīra. Asa triṣṇā nai marī, keh gayā Kabīra. So that also, this man, man is mind. The mind can kill us, or the mind can bring us to the cosmic. When something is with us, you make something good or bad, or you're angry or not angry, or anything. The best thing, let's say, we can tell. So now I give you a very nice example. People like this mostly, very nice ice cream. But the ice cream, he still did not put it in his mouth, yet it's already in the stomach, making that quickly, quickly come in. Ice cream is great. Once a day, there was a couple, husband and wife, and they went for a walk in the street in the city. Every day they go for a walk. Then someone made that beautiful little shop, and there were ice creams, glass tables, and many different colors, and sugar, and red, and this, and ice cream, a little from that. So husband and wife were walking. The protector of the husband is the wife. If you can understand your wife, if you know that and this, then she will protect you in every aspect. But if you will not, then of course she cannot do anything, and he can kill her. Both sides, yeah? Man or woman, okay? Hey man, you are a good man. So that's why you are a good man. So what had happened? Her husband tells, "Darling, I would like to go with you. With me, and I will give you... we will eat the very nice fruit and ice cream." She said, "Yes, this is very nice, my dear. You like this, and I'm very happy for... you, that you can have ice cream." He said, "Yes, please, thank you." And his wife said, but... wife said to husband, husband said, "Yes, very good, and my dear." Then she said, "But, and what?" This one word, "but," is a very powerful word. Everything can be good or bad. And she said, "My dear, ice cream is good, and I know you like it, but—what means 'but'? Always you are telling me, 'Be a bird.'" She said, "I do for you good, but what is it to do with?" The alcohol, not the ice cream, and this ice cream and this. She said, you know, day before yesterday we went to the doctor for the throat, and you are a singer in opera, and because it was very cold and you were not good, your throat, and doctor said, please, don't drink cold, warm water, and this, this, and this. Therefore, your throat is not good now. After, we will take it. The husband said, he put very nicely, you know. There is a laughing, and which laughing is real or not? First, laughing is... Good, but when laughing, the lips little only, and our, what is this? Chick comes out so, or both our bodies, everything very good. Where to? So what she said, this and that, and so, and he said, "Let's get okay," but no problem, all right. But it goes in the consciousness, and then the dream is the best way to get out whatever is inside. But after, you will be, "Oh God, what I spoke in my dream!" Jāgrat, Suṣupta, and what one? Jāgrat, Suṣupta, and Svapna. We are in these three points. So, jāgrat we know, and now we are in jāgrat. We sleep. If you are the best of the best, and you know everything and are alert. And very rarely do this, and that means we go to sleep, and you know how long time it takes to come into sleep, very like that, and then we are in the going into sleep, enjoy a little bit. Because now we are completely relaxed, but again, there is a "but." But is also very good or bad and many things, but so is sleep. And within no time, you are sleeping here in Jadān Āśram, but you are going to Jodhpur to get some nice fruits, but you are here, and when something happens, within no time you are again in jāgrat. These are the three: jāgrat, suṣupta, and svapna. So that man was one day, after ten days, in a deep sleep, and his wife was sleeping on her... He was sleeping on his bed, a little distance away, because, sorry, gentlemen, most of the gentlemen are sleeping. Why not? Svapna. But there are women also who say, "Oh my God." And when she's snoring, then what should the husband do? He takes his pillows and his, what is that, your blanket, and where does he sleep? He goes in the kitchen. Yes, because if his wife is powerful, then he will say, "Yes." When the mother gives a child, and in the room, in the night, three times or four times, the little child is crying, and she gives milk. And the father said, "I always go to the office, and I cannot sleep." She said, "Yes, I'm sorry." And what the man does, he takes his blanket and pillow and goes toward the kitchen side. You know, the mother, she's very good, but the mother has a very hard life. But if the man will be nice to her, then she's... But she will all the time swallow everything, or not. And man is also very good. The women are, my God, you know, it is like a, you know that? That is different, my dear. There are many things. And he has ice cream. So they are, she is sleeping in her bed. He is sitting there, and now he is snoring and dreaming. And in the dream, it is like this, that his wife said to him, "Today we will go for ice cream, darling," and he said, "Yes." And they come nicely and are walking nicely, and they came for the ice creams. She said, "Yes, nice," otherwise they're eating and... But there are some who have tables, and in a dream, all is a dream, okay? But ice cream came in a cup, and he took it with a spoon—it was a golden spoon. He takes the ice cream and comes near, one inch different. Ice cream was coming to the mouth, and he was opening his dream. And what happens? Oh God, nothing. He gets up, no ice cream, nothing. Wife is there, I am there. He sits up on his bed. He goes to the bathroom and washes his face. It's time for getting up, and they had breakfast, and then he taught her. She says, "Yes, this is that asa triṣṇā nahī marī. So this is that." In our consciousness, it goes so: annamaya kośa, prāṇamaya kośa, manomaya kośa. Man... Man have immediately to the moon, to the sun, to anywhere, or here anything. Man is that he is a horse. Man, māra, anamāmata, mārī, mār, mār gayā, marta jāyegā. Man chal, man, annamaya, prāṇamaya, manomaya, and vijñānamaya. Vijñāna, jñāna, and that is also very powerful. And after that is called ānandamaya. Now this ānandamaya kośa can be eating ice cream or singing satsaṅg or bhajans or different. So God has given the humans everything, because God said, "I give you my son, to you everything." But now I give you everything, and I'm free. He said, "Yes, good." We are very happy God has been made as the God. But certain times it happens, even they make God kill. There was a time when a Rakṣasa came, and he wanted to give somebody to kill. There was a long, long life, and he said, "I give you everything in my power." Śiva said, "Anyone's head you will put, you can kill them. Where is the good that when the Rakṣasa was there, he came from his sādhanā?" Then Śiva said, "Yes." The Rakṣasa said, "I don't know, you made right or not." Let Śiva may try now, he said. If I put my hand on the Śivajī, Śivajī will also go. So Śiva is running away here and there. He wasn't there. And then comes a rock, and in a beautiful rock, there's a Viṣṇu, Bhagavān. So Śiva ran there. The rākṣasa was standing on the rock. And Śivajī was tired. Viṣṇu said, "My God, Śiva, what happened?" He said, "This is and this." Oh, sit down. We have some fruits or milk. "Went home, please. He will come and kill us both," he said. "Don't worry." And then Viṣṇu comes, a beautiful girl. Girls are all beautiful, doesn't matter. Every mother, woman, they are very beautiful, but man is the best of the best. So Viṣṇu, he turned into the one very dancer, so Viṣṇu Bhagavān, and he said, "Oh, very nice." He said this thing, "Yes, oh, I want to marry you." He said, "Yes, that's a good idea, but I'm a dancer." She said, "Dancer?" She said, "If you can dance... then I marry, otherwise not." Then she said, "I will learn dancing, so sit on the rock there, because I have to see you exactly like this. Don't come close to me." So Rāvaṇa is sitting—some, not a Rāvaṇa, but other Rākṣasa. So, he was standing there, and now Viṣṇu and he became singing, "Dee, da, do, ding, do, bhi." And she goes, "Aisa, desa, oh, yes." And he does Rākṣasa, and she said, "Śakti." And he himself made his head on his head, and then, so, so that is like that, or that, finally. Is that what yoga is for? And yoga is not only āsanas, prāṇāyāmas, and these things, but there is more. And now, for the last two months, I have been teaching about brahmari prāṇāyāma. And brahmari prāṇāyāma is very great for our brain, and there are the best techniques, the best. So yoga is that Śiva, and that Śiva brings that. And Śiva comes from Prakāśa. So Gurujī said, "Make a nice bhajan of Mahāprabhujī." "Prakāśa Prakāśa puñja amṛta ke sāgara." Come on. "Puṣpa amṛta sāgara" bhajan. Parās and Puṣpa, they will sing bhajan. Prakāśa puñja amṛta ke sāgara, dīpa harī mahādānī. Sāre viśva meṁ gūñjā rahī hai prabhu kī amarā kahānī. Prakāśa puñja amṛta ke sāgara, dīpa harī mahādānī. Prakāśa puñja amṛta ke sāgara, siddhi pārī mahādānī. Prakāśa puñja amṛta ke sāgara, siddhi pārī mahādhānī. Amṛta sāgara se pādal āyā barse amṛta vāṇī. Sāre barse rahī hai, sāre viśva meṁ barse rahī hai. Tāpana śānī, kāmarta sāgarśī dīpa harī madanī. Jisabara amṛta varṣā barasī so baḍā bhāgī. Jisne pīyā mārthā man bhar ke, sāgara siddhi pārī mahā dhani. Thank you. Now, I wanted to finish the talk, but because we have so many people in the world, and they are very best friends, good friends... So, in Australia, there is one of our very good devotees, a yoga teacher also for Yoga in Daily Life, and she got cancer, and I think within... two months today, she passed away. Our people from Europe, they were here in Australia, Cindy, so we can say to God that she comes to Bābū Prabhujī, Alagpurījī. Three days ago, one of my also very great and devoted family, and that's our Bhakti. You know, Bhakti, she's dancing. Very nice. She's from the Czech Republic and in Vienna, Austria, and she's very devoted to me. And her mother and her father, they also devoted so. Four days before, I think, our father passed away, but not because of the corona. He was, oh, very old, and he always didn't want to eat. He said, "Now I will not eat anymore," and so, in two days, so. They wanted to bring the doctor or to the hospital, but he said, "No, I don't want now anymore here," and so he passed away. So, for what we will send them condolence? And from our side, we send them prayer in that name: Oṁ Śohaṁ Saguṇa Brahma Śrī Dīpā Paripūrṇa Rāya Namaḥ. Oṁ Śohaṁ Saguṇa Brahma Śrī Dīpā Paripūrṇa Rāya Namaḥ. Oṁ Śohaṁ Saguṇa Brahma Śrī Dīpā Paripūrṇa Rāya Namaḥ. Oṁ Śohaṁ Saguṇa Brahma Śrī Dīpā Paripūraṇa Rāyanāṁ Namaḥ. He Mahāprabhujī, Devādhi Deva, Ārādhi Bhagavān, Śrī Alak Purī Jī, Devpurījī, Mahāprabhujī, and our Holy Gurujī. We pray to them for peace, light, and oneness to God. We send a message to their families, and we are with them. Oṁ śāntiḥ, śāntiḥ, śāntiḥ. Hari Oṁ.
