Our life is like a football

The path of purification leads the self to its divine destination. The five elements of the body are purified through practices like bhajan, which channels spiritual power through every nerve and thought. The human brain possesses immense capacity, yet it must be guided from dry intellect toward the heart's wisdom. A human being should protect all living creatures, recognizing the divine spark within each, regardless of size. The journey is precarious; one may fall back by succumbing to weakness or distraction. The Guru provides guidance, but the individual must remain steadfast on the boat, avoiding the temptations that pull one into lower existences. The aim is to unify with the true Self, enjoying the human form while transcending its attachments, until the elements are purified and the goal is reached.

"Jīva jīva bhakṣyate. It is said that every creature is eating another creature. But the human is very far."

"Where there is nothing, there it is. But if you want to have that one, then there is nothing."

Very good, thank you. And now comes Avatārpuri. Avatārpuri will be singing a beautiful bhajan. Very nice. Thank you. Good evening, everybody. Bhajan. Beautiful. Hari Om. All dear bhaktas, sisters, brothers, all yogīs, practitioners, yoga teachers, and those in yoga and their life around the whole world, those who are listening, I say to you the blessing of our guru paramparā from Satyugas, Alakhpurījī Mahādev. Millions of great ṛṣis went through Alakhpurījī. We know that, and so we know through Ārādhy Bhagavān Devādidev Deveśvar Mahādevjī Bhagavān Devpurījī from the Himalayas and other parts of India. A great saint gave him his blessings for the spiritualities, which are for the jīvās, ātmās, and paramātmās, purification through all five elements: Annamaya Kośa, Prāṇamaya Kośa, Manomaya Kośa, Vijñānamaya Kośa, and Satya Guru. How is that which is within these five elements purified? There are many techniques, but the bhajans which we are singing and listening to go through our whole body, each and every nerve system, and all the thoughts. It’s in the whole brain, an immense power in that brain of the human. Of course, the others too, but mostly it’s because of the humans. We are sending our children to school. And which school are we going to, which subject are we living? And there we’ll be taught according to that, what kind of subject we want to take. And so, after so long, the brain was given for the teachings, and then it turned into what he or she wants to learn and to know, and it goes in that direction, in the brain. And if another one comes to other directions—spiritualities, peace, harmonies—to know that is a human. And a human, in the brain, should know that I will protect all creatures, not to kill them, not to eat them, but protect them, let them live in their way. Jīva jīva bhakṣyate. It is said that every creature is eating another creature. But the human is very far. And they know, they understand that not to kill someone, not to eat someone, not to kill any animals, that is not good. But protect every creature because they are living beings. And this living being is a part of God. Doesn’t matter if it’s a tiny, tiny creature or a big one like an elephant. It doesn’t matter if the body is big or small. Like, for example, a very tiny spark of fire can burn a whole village, everything. Very little, tiny fire, or very big, no difference, all is one. Like wind from the ocean, the steam comes up, just like a fog, but they are all little, tiny waters. They go to the clouds and again begin to bring big water or different things, become the river, and again come to the ocean. So, Jīvā, in that Jīvā, he wants to come to his destination, to God, the Supreme, whatever. But humans know; other animals also know many things, but not that much. And those who will kill them to eat them, it means you will go back to the lower path of life. So that Guru Paramparās from the Śiva, Satyugas, Alakhpurījīs, Devpurījīs, Mahāprabhujī, and our beloved Satguru Madhavānandajī Bhagavān, and we are on this path. And in this path, how can we do this? Many people will fall back again. Again, we’ll go down somewhere. But you know that we are sitting on the boat. And if you are sitting there, then you will be. If you jump out, you are jumped out. Beautiful, great one fish. Which of the fish? Shark. Yes. That will eat us back. So, the captain, he is there, and he wants to bring us to the shore of the ocean. But on the way, you jump out. The captain is not to tell that you have done, no. And so, our five elements, they are in this; any five elements will bring us in some way down. But Ātmā, Ātam Parabrampātmā, Avatārpūrī was singing one bhajan or prayer, Śrī Guru. Sakal jag ke antra jami, charachar kī ātmā, chara chara kiyā to sāre viśvame guñj rahā Prabhu kī amar kahānī. Tab hotā hai ki we can come. There is a, not easy, suddenly we become weakness. What kind of weakness? I am too tired. Yes, you are tired. Fall down, hurry home. Many things are happening. So, what is that in two points there? In the brain and the heart. If we can control this, how to control it, how to make bhajan, bhajan. So when we are singing bhajans, we are bringing spiritual divinities and goddesses, power into our body, into our brain, into our heart. Only the brain is very dangerous. The brain is very good, very good at everything, but it can be. Because then it is dry only. It has to come to the heart. And when it is the heart, then we are colored in that kind of color which we like to come further. If you think that I don’t want to practice and let anything die, yes, we will die, but then we are nowhere. The five elements are gone. And this ātmā or jīvātmā or jīvas don’t know where it is. Our whole earth is just like a tiny, tiny corner of the sand. Because the cosmic earth is very, very big, we don’t know. Where are you comfortable? Do not move, and now see far on the ocean: the sun rising or the sun setting. That’s not a meditation. You are going out of yourself again. We worked the whole day and saw many things. And again, we are going further somewhere. We have to be one with ourself. One self is one, but how? And that is, the Guru gives you a mantra. But the best mantra the Guru will give you is that the Guru will tell you what to do. That’s it. Go within thyself, and you are not inside thyself because all is thy self. Come into this body and understand everything. Enjoy your beautiful being as a human. Don’t say, "I don’t like this, I don’t like this, I like this, this is not good, that is terrible, that is this, that anything." This is our own mistake. That body will say, "They will not die, hurry on." But if you die, don’t think that I will want to die. It is terrible, terrible to come out of these five elements. Let it be, let it be. And why? Because God or the body, or anything that we need—we need this body until we can achieve what ātmā and Paramātmā are; then there is nothing. And where there is nothing, there it is. But if you want to have that one, then there is nothing. So it is very difficult to do. And best, no problem, anything, we cannot touch anyone. There, we have to come. After that, maybe again it comes. That is another. We will talk tomorrow or some days. So on this day, this was what we had yesterday, today, and we will practice that continuously. So be thyself within that self which is thyself. If you like football, you just want to kick the ball where? Into the goal. We were fighting, going everywhere. And we said, "Now I will kick the ball into the goal." I’m just a little goes out, like, "Oh my god, that’s..." We were very close, and that ball was also rolling there, and everybody said, "Oh," but one jumped there, the other one went immediately out. So you did whole life good things, and it came, "Oh yeah, this is my life, yeah." Again the ball is out, we were running here and there and very strong, but again, so this game of the football is like our body, our ātmā, our self. Yes, you did everything very good, but just a little. Go on the other side. Hari Om Tat Sat. Therefore, Ātmā Puruṣottama sakal jag ke antaryāmī, carācar kī ātmā, nābhārūpa vyāpaka satyavyāpaka vimalacetā ātmāvā chetanaya. So it is that like this. So tomorrow we will see somewhere, but until then, sing the bhajan. So, that is why we have to come to all five elements. Keep them clean, very clean and strong. Don’t kill them, don’t teach them. Hold it, hold it... and we’ll come one day, football in the goal. Oh, very good. Gurujī, thank you. I am now in the Brahma Lokas. Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī, Sanātana Dharma Kī, Ṛṣi Munī Mahātmā Kī, Dev Purīṣa Mahādeva Kī, Mahāprabhujī Kī Jaya, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandajī Bhārat Kī Jaya, Oṁ Śāntiḥ Śāntiḥ...
