Never lose the name of God

Health and happiness depend on inner cleanliness and divine grace, not external running.

A pandemic reveals a deeper sickness in the age of Kali Yuga. Disease flourishes where tradition and dharma are lost, replaced by physical indulgence and mental depression. This inner pollution manifests as outer illness. True health comes from a happy, clean mind and spirit, not merely medicine. The practice of yoga and mantra, received through a genuine guru paramparā, purifies the body, mind, and thoughts. This grace is real; devotees experience the guru's power directly through life-changing guidance and even the transfer of suffering. Shortcuts and false teachers bring negativity. Real spiritual practice requires lifelong dedication.

"Namaste is best. Namaste means 'I bow to you.' Second, it means you and I are one."

"If you have power, then you should take care of Swāmījī, and give the pain to me."

Oṁ Bholē Śrī Dīpanāyaṁ Bhagavān Kī Jai. Gurudeva Kī Jai. Gaṇeśa Śaraṇaṁ Śaraṇaṁ Gaṇeśa. Gaṇeśa Śaraṇaṁ Śaraṇaṁ. Gaṇeśa, Śaraṇam, Śaraṇam, Gaṇeśa. Gaṇeśa, Śaraṇam, Śaraṇam, Śaraṇam. Maheśakare Guru Deva Ujjako Śaraṇa Rakho Guru Deva. Deva Darśan Dhanah. Deva Darśan Dhanah. Dātā Ke Nahi Para, Dātā Ke Darśan Dhanah. Data Ke Darshan Dhanah. Japa Tapa Yoga Nahi Bhanave, Japa Tapa Nahi Karona Karvave, Shana Tira Tara Satha Guru Da. Jana Bhagya Sitara, Shana Dhara, Shana Dhana. Hari Om, all my dear sisters and brothers around the world. To all in Yoga in Daily Life, I am very happy. Our Yoga in Daily Life people are very healthy and happy. Some have been affected by this corona, but otherwise not at all. Many people in different countries have tried to control themselves, and many say, "Now we are okay. In my country, it is very good." But suddenly it can come again, so I think we have to be careful. We all had programs, bhajans, mantras, and prayers. In this time, we first had very big problems. Many people died from this corona. It is said it was more for people who have lung problems, who used tobacco or alcohol, and the elderly. For those below 50 or 70, people were still okay—not perfectly okay, but they said it was okay. After this, a few months passed, and again came the waves of corona, affecting both young and old. Many died. The elderly were not taken care of well, mostly due to lung problems and issues with oxygen. In two or three days, they would pass away. So many people died in many countries. India was suffering at that time. They had little problems, but then it came again to Europe, Africa, and many other countries, and now it has come to India. In India, many young people were not controlling themselves, and so it still happens very much. It is like this: I always tell that when someone has perfume on their body—on the head, face, hair, or anywhere—it is very little. But when we go through the street, that perfume goes to everyone. So it is with this corona. We should practice cleaning our hands, our mouth, and our dress more often. Our mask should be very good. But some people do not do it properly; they just put a cloth on their shoulder and go. Doctors say this is not proper, though other people say it's okay. I spoke about these problems when I was in the Czech Republic. I said that the Kali Yuga has come down very powerfully, and so Dharma is affected. We have to follow the Dharmas. First came Corona, then a second wave, and now it is said that in one month or so, a very strong kind of Corona will come, affecting little children very much. I don't know; people don't know who is doing like this. We should always, as in Indian culture and many others—in China and everywhere—greet with hands together. We say "Hari Om" or "Śrī Rām," and they also say "Hari Om" or give blessings. In other parts, like in Europe or Britain, they lost this. They shake hands, hug, and kiss. It is a tradition. Maybe for a little baby it is okay, but they come and hug, and that "perfume" is already going into you. So now, everybody should sit like this, with both hands together. It is good because we don't know what was on your hand, what you ate, what you touched, and then you come and we shake. It is not good. Therefore, we always say "Namaste." Namaste is best. Namaste means "I bow to you." Second, it means you and I are one. Now people have lost so many things, and that's why disease is coming. I heard some days ago that it will be very strong, so you have to take care of your children, your grandparents, and of course your husband and wife. Or if you have no wife, you have only your child and your father. Some women have two children, and the husband is lost. In this Kali Yuga, people go to marriage and then after some time they leave. This creates problems not only for the physical body but also in the heart. It is only one life, but now it's not like this. One goes and leaves the children behind, or the children and parents suffer. Your children are suffering more than the husband or wife. Because of the child, the parents are very sad, but some don't care. This is the problem in the world now, and many children are suffering. Children are not educated in that way so much. They go to doctors, police, or somewhere else. They suffer, and many people are separated. The female takes her children and goes. The husband is asked for money. They may divorce, but until the children are of age, how many years must the father give money? The wife knows, but she has lost many things from the marriage. The child suffers, and this kind of suffering, suppression, and separation is inner. It resides in the heart and mind and will last a whole life. Now people are thinking so much only of sexual things. He doesn't like his wife and goes to another lady, or she doesn't like her husband and goes elsewhere. It was not like this in the beginning. At best, many see a husband as a mother, or a mother tells her husband like a father, or they are best friends. Even if they don't have children, one person who does not have this goes away, does this and that, runs here and there, and that person will suffer very much. In a couple, the father and mother will have a child and take care of it. The father will also take much care, but still, something is lost. Sooner or later, disease will come. There are many different kinds of diseases, many cancers. For a long time, we didn't know what cancer was. There was some disease, but why is this disease coming? There are also mental problems. This is Kali Yuga. In this age, people are trying to kill humanity. Real humanity is getting lost. That is very important. One should be clear and understand this. The corona is coming again. We don't know what medicine will work. Many doctors and scientists are doing very good work, but still, people are so broken inside. Many people sit in little rooms, small flats, with four families, husband and wife, and they are so depressed. Depression is a very powerful negative thing in the body, and one dies. In the last generations, people mostly lived nine, ten decades. They lived 100, 110, 120, even 140 years. And now? We have 25 years maximum of ascent, and then 25 years of slow descent. So how much is that, 90 or 50? This is how we are going up or down. That's why good health is when you are happy and doing something inside. But if one is always in the mind, thinking "I have no friends, I don't know this, what is this?" then that person is often very sad, and all these diseases come like this. So yoga is the best. Yoga in Daily Life is the best of the best, which we have seen is Guru kṛpā. Nowadays, many people are beginning with yoga, but they don't know what it is. They are making this and that, and oxygen exercises. Yoga is that which comes from great yogīs. That is a yogī, and so is Guru paramparā. Where are our paramparās? Satya Yuga, Dvāpara Yuga, Tretā Yuga, Kali Yuga. Now is coming such a black god, this black world, black time. So please don't run here and there. You have what you have. Just be happy and relaxed. Do your mantra. Mantra is the best, powerful prāṇas in our body. Mantra means positive, clean, pure, happy. In all different parts of the body, this brings us a very happy, joyful life. If you are going to cry and lie down, asking "why this, why that," then this person, even you, will have nothing good. You may have friends, but in your heart, you are burning. It is said that anyone can take away even from my hand, but in my brain, in my mind, in my heart, there is what God has given. I will always be good everywhere. So this corona, these diseases are coming now. Our people should learn to become happy and clean. First, clean our body, then clean our mind, then clean our thoughts. There are many good things we can do. This is what we ourselves have to do. Gurū Dev gives you mantra, blessings, and prathana. We may have God, God statues, we may have everything, but still we have to do ourselves. Many people are running very quickly and call themselves yoga teachers or yoga professors. At least you should come to your school or college. The call is when you finish, then you can say further this or that. In 10 days or 5 days, people are making exercises and call it yoga. Now you have yoga; you should practice, my dear. You should know that when your mother becomes pregnant, it takes nine months at least. You are thinking everything is going quickly, and that's why yoga is becoming negative. But for many of our people in the Western countries, their yoga and life are very, very good. They learned for long times, and they are yogīs. Here, many in India are just for 10 days saying, "I am a yogī." Then the dogī, nabogī. That's that. One week they give you all and give you paper, and you start as a yogī. "I am teaching yoga. I am a yogī." You know that Chandrapurī always said, "These are the best words." He is always talking. So why? Because we don't know and are lost. Then we are giving the name of God: "Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām, Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām, Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām." Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām, Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām, Śrī Rām Jaya Rām Jaya Jaya Rām. Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān, Dev Puruṣa Mahādev, Satguru Svāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān, Alak Puruṣa Mahādev. Śyāvara Rāmacandra Bhagavān, Om, Om,... Om Śānti. So, Śrī Gulābjī, Śrī Deep Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān kī Jai, Śrī Devaśyar Mahādev kī Jai. Gurujī is saying we have very little time. So I want to share with our brothers and sisters some of my feelings and some incidents related to our Gurudeva. With the permission of Gurujī, at that time I was newly made D.O.T. of Gurujī. I met him at the Kumbh Melā in Prayag. I was studying there for about 25 years in Allahabad, Prayag, and lived just one and a half kilometers from the Kumbh Mela. Each and every year, I used to go there, and for one month, every day, I took a bath in the Saṅgam and continued searching for who would become my master, Guru Dev. I met many santas there and discussed with Śaṅkarācārya Jī also. Then I was hopeless, wondering, "Who is my guru?" My maternal uncle told me, "Some mantras, please. This mantra you have, you should repeat. Make some anuṣṭhān; it will be good in your life." The Kumbh Melā was starting, and I started our mantra and anuṣṭhān. After nine or ten days, my classmate told me on the telephone, "One śānt is coming tomorrow in Kumbh Melā. If you want to go there, then tomorrow we have to go, but we return here. We should have gone in the direction of south." I don't know why I started to go in the north side. I saw some Europeans there, and I saw Gurujī also, but only for a movement of about 10 or 15 seconds, and then I went back. Thereafter, after two days, again two or three times repeating, I went to Gurujī Caraṇaspur. Gurujī went into the tent slowly. My emotions—how can I describe them? Thereafter, I told Swāmījī, "I want to be your devotee." Swāmījī told me, "I am not living here; I am mostly in foreign countries, so you make a guru from here." But again, the next day I was there. Then one day Swāmījī told me, "You come tomorrow. You will come tomorrow, and I will do something then." Tomorrow, I went again. Swāmījī gave me a mantra, and I have been a devotee of Swāmījī from that time. Swāmījī went away from the Kumbh Melā, and I thought, "Oh, I don't know when I will meet him. I have to have darśana of Swāmījī." Six months after, in Leela Amrit, I think in Leela, I took some phone number of this ashram. I was told, and then it was informed to me, that Swamiji would be in New Delhi. "Swamiji will be in New Delhi tomorrow." I had no reservation; how could I go? I went to the railway station; there were many crowds, as is common on Indian railways. I was a little sick at that time. I want to tell you what incident at that time changed my life. Oh, this is not possible. Many crowds, about five to ten thousand people, were there. How can I reach by train? Not possible. I thought, "Oh, Gurujī, I am not able to come. I want to go back. Oh, it was not good. This guru is from another country." Though it was not good, suddenly, when I came out from the station, outside, one lame person, handicapped in both legs, came to me. "Oh, you are going to New Delhi?" I said, "Why? Why are you asking me?" He said, "I think you are going to Delhi. If you want to go there, come with me. Come with me. I am going to Delhi. I have two seats, but give me... uh, you should give me the value of the ticket, okay?" This is very good. "Where is your seat?" He saw me, and then I said, "It is the blessing of Gurujī. It is the blessing of Gurujī." Then I came on the train very nicely, sleeping, and came to the Ashram, Devapurījī’s Ashram in Mehrauli, Delhi. I was so happy. This was how this incident was created by Gurujī. At that time, if I had returned, I would never have come to Gurujī. This is the blessing of Mahāprabhujī and Gurujī. Once upon a time, I was in the Delhi ashram. Gurujī’s health was not good at that time. I want to tell of the blessing of Mahāprabhujī. I think there was a heart problem at that time. Guruji, Jai Prakash Ji was there in the ashram. Guruji, I was weeping in the night, about two in the morning. I started to weep, "Oh, Guruji’s health is not good." How could it be good? I thought, if I told Mahāprabhujī—actually, I had already read Līlā Amṛt—I told Mahāprabhujī, "If you have power, I want to share it all." At that time, I told Mahāprabhujī, "If you have power, then you should take care of Swāmījī, and give the pain to me." It was the winter season. In the night, Swāmījī went away to Europe, and I went to my relative in Delhi. It was about 11 in the morning. My heart became more and more painful. I don't know how much pain there was. I went to the doctor; they checked me, and everything was nice, but the pain increased more and more. I took some medicine thereafter. In the evening, I asked by telephone, "How is Swāmījī?" He told me, "Swāmījī is good, he is good, and you? You don’t worry." After one day, I also became good. I didn't know anything, but that day, it was so much pain. I cannot believe it. I felt that my heart became broken, just like pain. Then I felt the blessing of Mahāprabhujī and Gurujī. Great is Mahāprabhujī, and great is Gurujī. Both always take care of the bhakta and the wishes of the bhakta. Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī kī Jai. Devāśvar Mahā Devakī Jai. Śrī Viśvaguru Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Paramahaṁswāmī Śrī Maheśvarānandjī Purījī Gurudev kī Jai.
