Be vegetarian or vegan

The Earth sustains all life, and yoga is the path to harmony with it. Yoga in Daily Life is a global spiritual practice for health and peace, distinct from mere physical exercise. The world contains 85 million species across water, earth, and sky. Humans are but one form of life. The current age, Kali Yuga, is a time of suffering where humans disrupt nature, poisoning water, air, and food with chemicals, causing disease. This suffering is a consequence of harming other creatures. True yoga practitioners, maintaining pure practices, can remain resilient. The solution is a compassionate, vegan lifestyle and spiritual discipline. A key practice involves focusing on the navel, the seat of life, with specific breathing and sound vibrations to promote health and balance.

"Yoga is for the yogīs, and yogīs are there for their energies and blessings for the whole world."

"Humans and animals are different... We are not God, my dear. What we are eating, what we are doing, how we are—we know who is like that, and we are killing them."

Oṁ Maheśvarāya Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahma Tasmai Śrī Gurave Namaḥ. Dhyāna Mūlaṁ Guru Mūrtiḥ, Pūjā Mūlaṁ Guru Padam, Bhakti Mūlaṁ Guru Kṛpā. Dīp Jyoti Parabrahma Dīpam Sarve Mohana Sajate, Sarvaṁ Sandhyā Dīpam Sarva Satyam Prabhu Dīpaḥ. Vinaśyati Api Brahma Api Viṣṇu Api Rudra Api Kevalaṁ. Satya Sanātana Dharma Kī Jai. Om Hari Om. All my dear sisters, brothers, and children, Hari Om. I am very happy to see all of you here together after a long time, due to the situation with the coronavirus. Nearly two years have passed, and we were all a little separated. The whole world has faced this problem. But our Yoga in Daily Life, all yogīs, did not give up their practice. This means that throughout life, we have to be healthy and peaceful, and all the spiritual parts of our being should be known to God, so we may come closer to the cosmic. Yoga in Daily Life is very different and is present in many, many countries around the whole world. Now, in this Kali Yuga, of course, many people practice yoga, but it is not as real yoga should be. Yoga is for the yogīs, and yogīs are there for their energies and blessings for the whole world. They have within them spiritual yoga. But now, people come to like yoga; this is just like exercise. Many people do exercises, and afterwards they go and eat meat, drink alcohol, etc. Humans and animals are different. We know there are many creatures on this earth. We call them the 85 million species across three realms: in the water (jal), on the earth (sthal), and in the sky or space (nabha). Among these is what we call one life, jīva. Jīva means life, living. But there are creatures that live only half a day and die. Many live only in the space, flying in the sky, living and dying there. Jalacara, sthalacara, and nabhācara—these are the three. Jalacara are all water creatures. The whole water, where are all the creatures? How many creatures, including the water itself, are life. Where there is water, there is God, and Jagadīś means God. Without this water, God said you cannot survive. Jala, and jala is more than our earth. Our earth is very little. For example, when we are cooking some food, we put it in a pot to boil. There is one lid on top. That lid is only earth. The whole pot and everything is water. Jal, Jagadīś—Jagadīś means God, and that water is life, and that leads life. How many creatures are in the ocean? Many, many. And then on the Earth, we know the Earth very well. We are the upper world, but also inside. When we dig, many, many lives come out. They are living under the earth and above the earth: Jal and Thal. Jal means the water, Thal means the earth, and Naba means the sky. You don’t know how much is living in the space. Today, you cannot imagine it. The ocean is down, but the same ocean is over all the clouds now. And in those clouds also, life is living. So, Jalachara, Thalachara, Nabhachara. Oh man, you are a human. But you don’t know. You are not the only one. Oh human, do not think that I am everything. Many creatures are living. They know that they will kill each other; they are killing. But the humans, they are not proper. We think we are human and think we are God. We are not God, my dear. What we are eating, what we are doing, how we are—we know who is like that, and we are killing them. We are fighting with everything. We come one after the other, and they are fighting each other. God did not send us to fight. We come to love. We come to harmony and to help everyone, including the water. Our water is our life. But now, in this Kali Yuga, we have even destroyed our water. In this Kali Yuga now, there are four: Śiva, Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, and Pūrṇa. So, in this Śiva, the other three or four, this is the Kali Yuga. Yes. Śiva is that which is coming from Śiva, the beginning of everything. And our Ālag Purījī is from the Śiva time. In the Śiva Purāṇa, a very nice holy book, it is written about Ālag Purījī. We have Ālag Purījī, so we have to make it very big here, inside. Here we have a picture of Ālag Purījī, but we need to give a bigger picture. So, Śiva Purāṇa, Śiva, then second. So, Satī Svaraṇā. Śiva Purāṇa, then Sat Purāṇa. The second for Śiva Purāṇa is Sat Purāṇa. So, Dvāpara, that is second. Dvāpara is the second. At this Dvāpara, we were living for hardly many ages. Dvāpara, then the third yuga, the three. Dvāpara, third yuga, and yet coming Kali Yuga. Kali Yuga is now going to die. And in this Kali Yuga, the humans will be suffering. And now, you know what is coming? Two years already, in this Corona. And in that, see who is dying now? Not any creatures are dying, but the humans die. This Kali Yuga has come already four times, and now the fourth has come. And we have to give vaccine more and more, and how long? Oh man, you will do this, but you know that in our yoga, in their life, within those out of India—I cannot tell about out of India because I was not there much. And my yoga people are in other countries. But our yoga, Dalai, all our people, how many countries, whole Europe, Australia, in all this, all our Yoga in Daily Life, they are not affected too much from this corona. If someone did not practice yoga, or he or she was working in the hospital, then they were affected also. Or those who are doing that, "I do yoga," but mostly they don’t do. That also affected. But in their life, through yoga, people became pure, clean, all. If someone was ill and they had some other disease also, and in that way they went to doctors or something like this, then also they were affected, yes. Therefore, I am so happy, I can tell you, I am so happy that you all yoga people here are great and you are not in that Kali Yuga’s effect. You know that it began that all animals are killed so much, so much, and so the many, many animals, all big and small, they go to God, and God, please, these Hindus or any other religions, and the humans, they are killing us. We are being killed. Please help us. God will not tell like this. He will not kill us. And God also does not kill others. But what they did, that will come back to them. And therefore, we make one thing controlling, another controlling, going, pocketing like this. Everything is very, very... The time has come. Oh humans, please, please, please. Tell God, "Please, I give up everything. I will help. Please help me. Help me." The time has come for a person to offer help, to help. First, who was quickly in America? American people gave up many, many things: no more meat, no alcohol, and really they were becoming strong and very good, you know that. And other people are also everywhere, but again, when something, this chronicle, went down, again they begin to. So, my dears, you have been doing your exercises, meditations, concentrations, helping others, and in that way you are becoming, you are grown, and I am very happy with prayers to God. God, thank you very much that all our disciples, all of us, are very good, healthy, and very well. How do you live yoga in your everyday life? Through your practices, meditations, help you give to others, and praying to God for your well-being? I was just wondering how we would translate Kali Yuga. What would you call it? Theme. Theme.... Now, Kali Yuga means not that immediately will be now in two, two years or four years. This is not a time that ends like this, but it will happen in a few years. It is long, also very long. It takes a long time. Many, many people will come, but their bodies will not be proper. There will be killing many, many things. Slowly, slowly, it will be very terrible. Things will come now. But at the same time, people like you all in our world, they are very good people. They are for helping all creatures and everything, and water, water we have to clean again. But therefore, many, many that to God, and they will be. Coming back out, they will come to the God side. Others will suffer very much, disease through disease. We will think that I am strong, very good, and I do. Then, at the end, we’ll be suffering. There are many diseases. But you know that in the last years, how many of these diseases, cancer, cancer disease, have been in our bodies. But it was not suffering last year. But now, how many people have this disease? Why? What happened? Chemicals. So many chemicals. Everything is in our body now. And this is because humans are doing it. And others, that they were torturing other creatures. And that, for example, on your many animals, you are killing. Different animals, big cows, buffaloes, etc. And because they are all chemicals, and these chemicals are in the water, and in the waters, in all of our vegetables, and everything, and we are drinking different things, and they have cancers in their life. How many cancers? So, how do diseases come from there to there? We did it ourselves, humans. We made the chemicals. We are making so many different things, diseases. And we are killing, and we are chipping all the forests. Then why are we not saying about healing, heal and die, and die? So this corona, what we have, this all disease in our body, slowly, slowly eating us. Now, we are affected. We are affected by water. Then, vegetables, the fruits. All that we have, we have no strength for our body. Thanks to God, the people begin very much in Europe and in America and others. They are awakened, awakened so much, and they are doing again more and more. They are coming very great things, and that’s called vegan. One man told me, "Ten days," someone told me. He is my disciple, and he said, "I think doctor or something," I did not know, and he said, "Swāmījī, I am a vegan." I said, "Yes, I know, but how are you doing?" Yes, I know. How do you do it? How do you live? How do you feed yourself? That boy is a very strong man. He is in the Czech Republic. And he said, "When the cow gives the baby, what do you call it?" Yeah, so a cow’s calf, the calf comes. It’s a male, so what they do is they take it and kill this baby. And only because the cow needs milk. So, taking, she’s mother, mother is giving baby. Otherwise, the cow will not give milk, or other animals also. And that child, they kill it and throw it away. If you are a child, you got it, and then you will kill the child, what will happen? This means that if we cannot do good things on our whole earth, it will go down. How much we are digging out from the earth. How much we have cut the forest, so don’t think for our eating. We can have good eating. And so, in all the world now, is the vegan. In aeroplanes, when I’m going, they also tell, "Swamiji, you want vegans?" Because I am vegetarian, yeah, so I give my vegetarian. I am vegetarian, I drink milk. But then someone thought, "Vegan, other milk." From soya, that milk, but not animal’s milk. Then, you know, the, the... what do we have? Milk or not? I’ve forgotten this. Bees, the honey bees. And honeybees, it’s a very terrible thing to do to them. They take honey and put sugar there. And they are coming, coming, they bring the honey, but we take the honey out and give them the sugar. And now, slowly, slowly, these honeys, they are dying. In many countries, there are no more bees. That is also a very bad thing, not good. If there is too much honey, okay. But leave for them half for mother. So many things in this—I didn’t want to give a lecture, I want to give another lecture, but this is our feelings, and that I told you. And we know, we have so many Yoga in Daily Life, everywhere, and their... Parents, families, all are very good. We can eat the fruits, that must be everything, and so on. So, try to come in this way. Other things I came to give you, to give you some nice exercises also. So that is very nice, our yoga. Then, like, that is very good if someone has a headache. They have some problems in the whole body. Everything from the brain, and it goes from there to the whole body. And this is the very best thing that you can have. Before going to sleep, you can do it a little bit for five minutes. When you wake up, after the bathroom and so on, again, five hours. And the office, middle office, when you are going to work somewhere and you are just tired, this exercise will be great, very good. So humans have a brain, and there are two, you know, both hemispheres. And from there, we’re getting also back again. Our life begins from our navel. That is the seed of the father to the mother’s womb. There it is, what our all, here is coming the first. So, Jalacara, Thalacara, Nabalacara, which I have spoken. So, all birds and this, they have no navel. And therefore, they give the egg. And that, after coming, the birds. Also in the fish. The coming seeds out of many things, and so on, but humans are different. So all who are coming on the earth and walking, they are with the Nābī. And there is the life. That is our life. And from this come roots, and then the trunk, and then the branches. In the Bhagavad Gītā, the twelfth chapter is written about this brain. And so we can ourselves make a lot of health in our body, and again we can come to a good path. So, this I want to teach you a little today. So in the Bhagavad Gītā it is said that the roots are up and the branches are down. And so, Nābī, we will not die. When we are completely dead, then it is from Naban. Yes? I don’t understand that at all, but Sanchī says that when we die, it happens through repentance. It means. What it means, yes. Yes. Your brain will go. But life is inside, yes, and also when we are speaking, it will go. The heart will go very silently, like, but life will go from here. In the navel, that is one of the very important things we should know. Mother, mother is the first. Therefore, we said, "First, mother." Father is already there. And so from the mother, it’s coming from the navel. And then parts going up to the brain and everything, but at the same time, the roots are coming inside. And when we say in yoga, "Touch your navel," not like that, but just a little like this, with hanging like this, and then inhale and touch this one, and from there, do not move. We cannot, we cannot make the movement. It should not be. That is in the womb. And they are coming from here to the head, here. That is in our Kuṇḍalinī, going from up to down. But I will not tell you that, but this Nābī, yes. And so, hold your seat straight, and only touch your navel, that’s all. And then we say OM. But there are two kinds of OM. Now we are going to intonate OM. There are two ways to intonate it. One is Brahma, Viṣṇu, Śiva. That is OM three. Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva. But we have to come complete. Our life has to become complete. And that was given to me by the Holy Gurujī. And many things, I have so many things remembered, and I am giving you something. So that is the vibration from the navel, from where I give the air. Bend it up completely and bring it back to the whole body again. Three times a day, five times a day, practicing. Many, many diseases in our bodies will not happen. Otherwise, we will do it, but we are doing it again, making negative things inside the body. So, we will do it five times. And feel yourself that it should not move. Nābī should not move. But because there are particular words that are completely silent, it comes to the brain, to the back. Otherwise, anytime we are talking, "Yes, how are you, me, and you?" "Yes, where are you?" "Hey, you see all moving or not?" "Water, panī, mother, father, hey, come, yes or not, yes." So this is a yogic sādhanā, so how to... Go through that very nicely when you are driving a car. You should go on straight on your side, nothing will happen. But you say, "Hey, how are you?" Tuk, tuk, tuk. And your machine should not move like that. So it is said, "Oh, my car is so good, I’m not going like that." It’s very good. So, I will say only two times, and you will listen. Exactly, the brain here, there should be there, and again coming direct through both nostrils inside and goes back again. Now you will see the unknown nostril. Okay, I will do once more. This is for your health. I’m not telling you anything about your health. So health is the wealth, and the wealth of the health is Yoga in Daily Life. So, five times. Do it yourself. Okay, someone is longer. Sometimes it is the chiller. Okay. No problem. After five times, put your hand down. Between no breath, between no breath, no breath, but not one breath one time. Yeah, another breath, second time. Yeah, so it is five times. Air is going out. Clear. So, repeat five times. Each in its own rhythm, with itself. It’s not bad if someone does it slower, others faster. Instead, don’t inhale and exhale separately. So, one inhale, one exhale is a repetition. The next inhale is already the next repetition. Repeat five times, in peace. Close your eyes. And what do you do? Wrong, wrong... the machine goes wrong, wrong... Again, please, sorry. Sit straight. That’s your nābī. Yes. Two more straight. Now, again. Go ahead. From the navel, like we can go, all Kuṇḍalinīs, I will come there. So this is really very good for all of us. All of us, but not sitting like this, no, or not like, no, in the sleeping, no, because we have to go to the center, okay? The second is after that, brahmrī. So this Vajra is important and good for all of us, but it is necessary to sit straight, not locked in the front, not locked in the back. The second Vajra is Brahmrī. And after this, then Brahmrī, then all will be best on the inside. And this is Brahmrī, you know, there’s one bean. Brahmrī is, when you say, there’s an osa. Yes, that’s it. Yes. Yes? Yes, wasp. Yeah, wasp. Yes. So that’s a wasp. And that is a story I will tell you again. That will come tomorrow. Okay. So, it is like this: elbows and shoulder, exactly in this point. And then our index fingers inside. Go more to the left. President, go more to this side. Okay, no more, no, no... Go back this side more, a little more, okay, like this. Now, the pressure must be good. It comes like this, and no sound you hear outside. And fingers, someone has, you know, the men, the men have so many needs, you know, and ladies not so. This should come like this, but don’t go too strong, okay, please. But your sound. It should not be outside, so it will be a very beautiful, both hemisphere. So, I do it once here. Headaches and all depressions, and so on, in both hemispheres. Very nice. It’s great for you, five times. And it is like this: some can breathe less, some have more, so do it as it is. You do it slowly, quickly, you finish. Some said, "Long, don’t go." Okay, please, now do it. You know, you tell how to do it. Explain fingers, yeah. Ease. How do you feel? Because many times people cannot hear slowly, slowly, so it can come again out. It’s very important. It is like that for years; sometimes you cannot hear properly, and this. And, for example, some have to clean the ears. So you have to go to the doctor and clean that, both at the same time. It is necessary to clean the ears. Yes, and then different techniques, yes. So, those who have sound, less and less, then there are two, and third techniques, techniques there, and they will come tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Are there any above-ground techniques for those who have problems with hearing? Once more, and they will be explained tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So, five times again, once, okay? Then I will not disturb you. And now, once again, in peace, repeat five times. Hari Om.
