We all will come to oneness

A satsang discourse on spiritual equality, service, and the soul's journey.

"Everyone, without exception, is equal in the eyes of our Gurujī, Mahāprabhujī."

"And when this ātmā, the soul, will go, then it is completely there. There is nothing; there is only one."

The lecturer addresses the community, emphasizing that all disciples—regardless of background or role—should be included in practices like pūjā. He teaches that service and respect form a spiritual family, illustrates oneness with an ocean metaphor for the soul, and shares an anecdote about Holy Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī to illustrate humble service.

Every day, wherever we gather, many disciples express a desire to learn pūjā and also wish for me to perform pūjā on the altars of our gurus. Yesterday I spoke about this, and it bears repeating for those who were not present, like Umapuri. It does not matter if one is a Swami, a worker here, from another country, or any distance from Vienna—all should be included. We should be one: one in all and all in one. Everyone, without exception, is equal in the eyes of our Gurujī, Mahāprabhujī. Sometimes, people think deeply about wanting to perform pūjā but do not dare. We should not think, "I may not like it if they do." No. We should give everyone the opportunity, instructing them on what to do and how to do it. Of course, one may not be able to do it perfectly immediately. That is why you should listen and learn from what I am doing. The altar holds God, the God of God—Parabrahma, Paramātmā—not a living person. When we perform pūjā and offer prasāda, it means we are performing this sevā for God. I have seen in Christian traditions how they also make offerings at the altar. In this, everyone has the right to perform pūjā, but there are considerations. If you have eaten and not cleaned your mouth and hands, you should not approach. Go, clean yourself, and then come for pūjā. It is also said that for śakti, for females during certain days, they should not touch the altar. Otherwise, for prayer, whether male or female, there is no problem in coming. Now, on this third day of our program here, I have seen some waiting. We should give everyone a chance. We are all sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, children. We are all together. In our atmosphere—whether in this ashram, temple, room, hall, or outside on the farm or in Strelke—we should give equally, whether someone is with us for the first time or for many years. At that moment, all are equal. But we should tell our friends, girls, boys, women, and men: we should give them more respect, give them a place, and let them learn. Then they will see what prayer is and how to do it. At that time, we can pour everything into those who are new. Come, we should give them respect; that is very important. In summer, whether it is cold or warm in Strelke or Hungary or wherever we are, we should sit together. For instance, I want to speak now because I wish to address others in this language as well. I can speak a little here. Often, German is not understood in all countries. It always comes from Czech, you know, and English is known by more people who are learning, so I am also trying. Only if we are sitting solely with Germans can I try to speak German with everyone. When we come to a place, maybe in the garden, while walking, or meditating outside, we must include all and be respectful to everyone. Then it is as Holy Gurujī said: "One in all and all in one." We should all be that. I always say, and I feel deeply now, that equality is essential. We are in the ashram now, sitting here. Someone came from a distance; someone came directly from the office to the ashram, having had no lunch, and dinner is not yet ready. There, we should give them something to eat. Maybe there are no chapatis or bread, but we always have some fruits or nuts—we have so many, full of nuts. Taking a little, a handful, is enough. No one should go hungry. That is serious. What is yoga in daily life? If someone has no money to pay for a month for our centers or such, it does not matter. If you do not have it, leave it, for it should not be only about money. But if you have, you can give more; no problem. We are doing here also: the whole day someone is working here and there. We are coming to this, but we were also traveling by car or bus, using many things. So we have to become one family. This is very nice, beautiful. Then, this is the spiritual status. Of course, the children are very good, and we need the children. Yes, there are some people sitting here, girls and boys. They have grown very much; I have seen them since they were very little children, always learning, learning... this and that. They have studied, finished, and now they are here, young girls or boys. After work, they run and come to the satsaṅg. This satsaṅg is for everyone. Like when the sun rises beautifully, it is not only for one or two or for us. The sun rises for all—not only humans, but all creatures, trees, everything. This sun rises for all, as one. That is good. When somebody is hungry, God provides. There is one bhajan Holy Gurujī gave—I have forgotten it, but I know something of it—with very nice words. It says that even from the little ant to the elephant, it is God who is feeding them, day and night. If we feel like that, then our life... you will become a yogī. Then it is like a god. And we are like a god thinking, or we are great. Of course, we are great, but at the end of our life, before God, when someone dies—some days before, or even one second before—we will say, "Okay, now all is there. Now I will collect good or bad." It will be said: "If it was very good, don't talk, but if it was only for other people or something, then go down." Those who... I told him, "Now, pūjās, these are everyone's there, but lifelong, not only ours, some other people's." Then it is said it goes to the god or whatever it is. So we know that we humans know about animals also, trains and... other trees and everything. Everything is there. We have to be respectful. Sometimes they don't know, but we should know. There is a tiger, and the tiger feels, "I can kill you," and then we say, "My God, we should kill this." No, it is not that we are coming and hugging, but even the big elephant—we cannot come near, otherwise he will just take it like this. We should keep a distance because they are different and we are different. So let us become, as our Gurudev said, Mahāprabhujī's... Mahāprabhujī's, you know that. Holy Gurujī was going every day into a little village, bringing food to many sādhus. Nowadays, it is rare for sādhus to go for vikṣā. But others, still the Buddha, and from Buddha... how they are studying, then they become like a monk, and after that, they go for vikṣā. Now we say, "No, we are not this. We have enough. We have everything." But it is said everyone has in their house. But now is a time that you have to learn something. Yes, in many countries, on the other side where the Buddhas are going, many, many people—you know, they are great. So in that, we should be helping. In helping, they said, "I want to be that which I am not, only by bhikṣā—just please give me." In many countries, people are like that: at the door, their families, people standing on the doors. When the disciples come and go, they come and give quickly. Yes, but now we have lost this. In India, there are still some; otherwise, all is lost. When some give food, people are early morning: either the girls or the boy or the mother or the father is like this. They will come, stand, wash their hands, and so on. It is something; it was. So Holy Gurujī was coming, brought some food, and came to Holy Gurujī. He gave it to Holy Gurujī, and Holy Gurujī said, "Okay, put it here." Yes, yes, a hundred, a thousand percent—you can ask other people also there. And what Holy Gurujī said: "Now go and bring some wood from the... one elephant"—not elephant, but like this, no, camel. There are so many camels there, and the camels give the ducks. So go and bring this because it is very cold, and bring it in the evening to get the burning. Come, Holy Gurujī. So he was going for one hour under different trees. He came, and then Gurujī said, Mahāprabhujī said, "Now clean my wash," then this. Yes. And then Holy Gurujī said, Mahāprabhujī... Holy Gurujī was saying to Mahāprabhujī, said, "My child, Mādhava, you are hungry. Come, sit down." And Mahāprabhujī was sitting with him, and nice, good food, and to Holy Gurujī, and Mahāprabhujī was giving satsaṅg. Giving a satsaṅg, Mahāprabhujī. How that time is gone. This time is gone now. Yes, but we can see something in each other: how we are to our gurus and our disciples. I am a disciple. Guru, Gurudev, and that God, or that is after that. I will do very good always now, and maybe after a few days, I'm completely normal—not normal—I'm going away in days, and that, and throw it away. I will not do anything. Then, so it is the whole year, and so we are all here in our... and we are all our brothers, sisters, all our children. It doesn't matter from which countries, and it doesn't matter what kind of person that is. Some are farmers, some are professors, some are this. Everything is, why not? But when we come together, it is oneness. And when this ātmā, the soul, will go, then it is completely there. There is nothing; there is only one. And what is that one? It is the Hindus, because they are from Śiva, Brahmā, Viṣṇu, from till that time. Then came the Buddhists, others, the Christians, the Muslims. Okay, all are good, very, very good, nothing to say. But when they give the body out, the diet... There is only one light, and this body is little. We all will become one and go to one. And there, automatically, how he was, how many killed, this and that, will go to that side. And the other is that it will go through there. There's nothing to say. Nobody will say, "Like the water goes there," or, "Very pure water goes there." That's all. So, I was about two or three years old when I very much started to think: the ātmā is all in our body. That is only that. There will be no, "It was the Buddhas," or, "It was the Kṛṣṇas," or, "It was the Muslims," or, "It is the Christians," or, "It is the Hindus." It doesn't matter. This is only surface. This is on the surface. What? We are from the ocean. And from the ocean, you know how it goes up? What we call the... what is that? I don't know, "wake." Yes. And that goes up, and we cannot see that, but it is going up and then becomes some little drop, a very little drop. And one drop comes down and falls down. Comes more grass, drops, and comes more rain, and it comes down. It falls in the dirt, in the fires, in the grass, and our eating, or whatever good things. Comes again, this water from the ocean, one drop to the back, one drop, and from one drop by drop it comes again. They are, but why? One falls into the dirt, and one was in the fire, and this again, this water will go somewhere, but we all will come into that river. Beautiful rivers are there. And when it comes to the ocean, there's no river there anymore. It is the ocean. And before that river, it was little water falling here and there. But again, we are inside, I want to tell. The ocean is the ocean. We all will come in oneness, and we will come to the ocean again. That is like we are dropping, meaning the humans and others, and sooner or later we become to God, you know, but in what way are we doing it? Ourselves, but this is nothing. It is nothing. You can be in any religion or any name or something like this, and so let us become one in our people, our thoughts. And, of course, we have different things. One likes to drink water; some like drinking water; one is some food; some are some fruits, etc. This is like living in life, and in our bodies, not only one soul—it is not only one. Each and every little drop like this is inside; it is a life. That life means God's life. We take a little blood; it is inside. You know how many things are inside? It's inside from our body, so it is our ashram. We should really give each and every humble to all. Don't say, "It's mine, not this," and "Not mine, there," and "This is mine." It's okay. Also, the children in the house, why not? They are so nice: each other, father, mother, children, brothers, sisters. But because we are only one, one drop. But one day we become the ocean again. Means we will come again beyond our... and that we would like to come. We are always will be, but we are there. Pure cleans up. Others have to be clean again, and then again, let it come out. So our sādhanā, our gurudevs, Mahāprabhujī's, our pūjās, and many other gurus—they have great gurus there. And their disciples, great also, sometimes they come, sometimes they go. So don't say only we are good. Not only we, there are others too. One family has children in their house, and others also have their children, other families. They all, one child's house has got a child. After two months, another comes in another house. Yes, they are, and this is the... that's called the life. Gods, or other animals, or a dog, other animals, anything, they are coming. And that we should see what it is inside. We need not to call this, but we know there is, and how we have to think about this. Many humans don't ask anything of them because they will be very angry, and we will do everything. We don't know, but in our inner heart, soul, in our ātmā, and in our eyes, we should think of them in good. I think those who have many angers in this and that, that we should not respect it like this, but good things, let's come. Yes, sometimes we are bringing something, juice from something, on a few drops comes, and so we have to be that drop. So in our prayer, I say today, every day, please, and one person can give that you should do this and this, and one is giving help. Other times, others will give the help, and we all know you are very, very much, so this is it. It will be very nice, yeah, it's very good. Wish you all the best.
