The way to God

The essence of spiritual life is Satsaṅg and recognizing the inner Guru. Religious identity is temporary, but the Ātmā within all beings is eternal. This essence is like an ocean, with individuals as drops from it. In this age, humility and goodness lead to the supreme reality, while pride leads elsewhere. The true Guru is beyond all deities, often silent yet profoundly present. External achievements and learning are not the final measure. True greatness is found in humble devotion and inner truth. Association with truth and pure company is vital, yet even simple, constant remembrance can be transformative. The ultimate state is one of inner silence, where all distinctions dissolve.

"Guru Dev. What is the Guru Dev? The Guru is above Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva."

"Sat. What is sat? What is it? It is truth. Truth. And Saṅgha.... With whom do you want to live?"

Om Śānti, Śānti,... Hari Om. Ārādhe Bhagavān Śrī Deviśvara Mahādevakī, Ārādhe Bhagavān Śrī Devapuruṣa Mahādevakī, Ārādhi Bhagavān Śrī Mādhāvanānjī Bhagavān Kī Śab, Ṛṣi Muniyoṅ Kī Jeho, Māṁ Pitā Gurudev Kī Jeho. Nam Mo Siri Prabhu Deepa Nārāyaṇa Hamsabhadas Prabhu Saranparāyaṇam. Om Namah Sabhudi Panarāyaṇam. Om Namah Siri Prabhudi. Om Namah Sri Prabhu Deepanārāyaṇam. Om Namah Sri Prabhu Deepanārāyaṇam. Om Namah Śrī Prabhu Dīpanārāyaṇam. In this Kali Yuga, we should all become humble friends, be good, and be good to each other. It does not matter which religion one follows, for religion is only temporary. When we give up the body, all that is gone. It does not matter how the body is given—whether by burning, burial in the earth, immersion in water, or exposure in the forest. But that Ātmā, that Jīva—what is that Jīva? We cannot know it. Or our heart, our soul. The soul is one thing, but there is one step further. It does not matter if it is animals, birds, fish, or humans; all beings have an ātmā, a jīva. It is like an ocean. The individual is like a cloud, or like drops coming from the ocean and rising above. Though it is just a little drop, so very small that we cannot even feel it, it is like that, like a part of the ocean. It is like a fire. You can make a big fire or just a little one. If there is petrol nearby, it will burn immediately. Now, do we not know? We know, and we should know. Yes, we have our religion, we have these identities—we are this, we are that. But that Parabrahma, that Paramatmā—that Parabrahma, Paramatmā is that God, or whatever it is. If people work, are humble, spiritual, and good to everyone, then it is fine: this is your religion, this is your name. All people are like this, including also the animals and everything. In Kali Yuga, this understanding will come more and more, very, very much. It will become great, so that those who take the name of God will receive that, and we will all go together to Parabrahman, Paramātmā. And on the other side, one goes to Naraka. Naraka is there even for the little ant. And from the ant, one can also go to God. Conversely, a whole man can go down. We talk so much about prāṇa in this prāṇa. We give so many lectures and speak very nicely. Yes, this was good, and that was about life, and so on. But finally, finally, we have to come to one point. And what is that? Guru Dev. What is the Guru Dev? The Guru is above Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva. Then comes the Brahmā, that Guru Kṛpāhi Kevalam. And that Guru, what is that? Perhaps he does not speak anything, but in his ātmā, inside, he is so great. He is sitting there, but everyone will listen. Everyone will see that this is what it is. It is not about good dress, not so much about God, not what we call money and all these things. All that is just nothing, but he is that guru, that sant. There are many, many thousands of gurus. Some are taking pride, saying, "I am good, I am progressing further, I go more, and I am chanting." But this is only just a reflection, only the reflection. The other is, you know, that. Consider two brothers. One brother worked very diligently. He went to college and everywhere, and he became a very great person, a professor or whatever. His other brother did not learn anything; he does not strive, he does not know what to do. There is a river. On one side is a village where his successful brother lives. On the other side of the river lives the other brother. There was a little temple of Bhagavān Śiva there, and underneath it was a small place where he lived. He grew vegetables and fruits, did his work, ate simple food, drank very nice water, and was at home, as if in his home. The parents may be gone. The brother who is great comes to visit his brother from time to time by crossing the river in a boat. He brings him fruit and other things and says, "Please, brother, you should learn. You could do more. Please do this." The brother replies, "I will not work. I am engaged in the worship of God. I bring vegetables and eat every day. I have enough." One day the successful brother came and said, "Please learn and come to me. I will give you many things," and he brought some fruits and other items. In the afternoon, he said, "I have to go. I am returning across the river." He came with his brother to the riverbank and was going to the other side. He stood there. And then what happened? In the middle of the river, on the water itself—this is his brother, who is called Bhai, my brother who went to study. If anyone asks me, I will give one name so that I may read and study. Aur mane kiyo, koi me bhool giyo. So, what has this boy done? Is this a man? He ran on the water, not like this, but on the water. On the water, he was going quickly, and he came to the other side, the other side of the sea, and he said, "Brother." He was running on the water. He said, "I don’t know, I just wanted to see you. This one, what can I see?" Then his guru, his brother, said, "Brother, I am nothing. I am only learning this and that. But you, my brother, you are walking on the water. You are the..." the greatest of the great. This is God, he said. And so it is, is it not? You may have many things in this world, but come to the temple, to the ashram, at any time. Make praṇām, partake in prasād and programs. Engage in Satsaṅg. Sat. What is sat? What is it? It is truth. Truth. And Saṅgha. Saṅgha.... What is Saṅgha? With whom do you want to live? With whom do you not want to live? If there is a father, if there is a brother, and if they do not do this, then they are nothing. And then they come, they will live there as Satsaṅga. Satsaṅga. Satsaṅg. But what? Only one word. Satsaṅg. You can go with the bakri, the goat. These are, and one man is there. He is going only from home and coming back. But all the time, he is repeating the name, the mantra—Rāma, etc. He comes home, he goes, but he is like a great one. He becomes a great one. So, it is not that only I am learning and everything. Yes, we know. We are learning, and we have that. Sang. Do sang hai. One sang is those who are with them—alcohol and meat and talk and making things and all this. That is also a company. Or, very pure and clean. Satra, saṅg. Kis kā saṅg chāhiye. Wo chaṅg. Acchā hotā hai. Mother, father, sister, brother, and all my family and all my neighbors—we should be so humble, clean, and good. Otherwise, they will go to hell, and they will go to the Lord, along with the Satguru. The Satguru is not just a goat, but he is a Guru. He keeps sitting, sings bhajans, watches, stands on one foot—like this, that person, so learning and this and that. All is okay. But this is only, it is only till here. Those who are humble will be going to this side, and there is also what we said. And if you come home, or even the person who is going with the animals and sleeping under the tree like this, thodī nīnd dete, garpe bhī āte—when they come home, then after that, the animals are lying and are thinking something. "What I did, what I was speaking, I am sleeping, but I am learning." And that is called yoga, yogī Janakī yoga nidrā. Is it below yogī Janakī yoga nidrā? In this, then you will, everyone will be learned, very good. And otherwise, a yogī Janakī... You see now, people make so many things anywhere. Nothing is that. Nothing is that. And many people, they are holding satsaṅg like this. To satt ke pās me śānt bhajan ātā hai. Bhajan bhī aisā ātā hai ki hāṁ, kitnā badhiyā aisā rahā hai. Here in this ashram, there is no sound at all. Absolutely, I have told you, there is no sound at all. That is called Yogijanākī Yog Nidrā. Yes, how he does it. So, come on, Hari Om, Yogijanaki Yog Nidra. Satguru Dev Kī Jai, Satyasanātana Dharma Kī Jai, Satguru Dev Kī Jai. Yogī janokhī yoga nidrā viralā, santa jana jānīye. Yogī janokhī yoga nidrā viralā, santa jana jānīye.
