Bhramari pranayama and concentration on the navel

The practice of Brahmari begins. Place your index fingers in your ears to block outside sound. Keep your hands and elbows steady. Perform the sound eleven times, not for very long. Remain relaxed and attuned to your own feelings; do not think of others. After eleven repetitions, bring your hands down. Later, lie on your stomach. Place your right hand's middle finger on your navel, just resting above it. Keep your body straight and relaxed. Practice consistently; even one day is beneficial. These techniques bring relaxation and greatness.

"Place your index fingers in your ears so that you will not hear anyone from outside."

"Remain relaxed and attuned to your feelings as far as you can. Don’t think about others; you do it yourself."

We will go through our techniques. So, for the first time today: Brahmari. For Brahmari, place your index fingers in your ears so that you will not hear anyone from outside. Not like this, but like that. Very nice, very clear. Position both fingers exactly and clearly. Keep both hands and both elbows steady; don’t let them go like this or like that. Just like this. This is Brahmari. You will know it, and I will see also. I told you, if anyone has not learned it, then learn from others. Now, do it eleven times. After eleven times, bring your hands down. Brahmari. Very nice. There are other different kinds, but they are not ready and not good. When they are like this, when they go like this, then that Brahmari is not the right one. So the real practice—we have a very nice sensation in our ear, and we have to control it and not introduce something from outside. So, eleven times? Yes, eleven. It must not be very long. Okay. Three, four times... Keep yourself relaxed and attuned to your feelings as far as you can. Don’t think about others; you do it yourself. Someone may do more, someone may not. After you have done it eleven times, put your hands like this. Eyes are closed. Concentrate on Brahmari. So, ādi om. Be very, very relaxed. Eyes closed, very relaxed, your hands on your knees. Feel the vibration of what you have heard. Think about being very comfortable, very peaceful, very nice—the sound of Brahmari. Again, with Brahmari... You want to have your jaw either lightly engaged or relaxed, but not moving from time to time. Now go into the third round of Brahmari. And then again we will do the Brahmari sound and return to normal, but listen inside as if doing Brahmari, even though your fingers are down. Now, the fifth Brahmari. Now lie down on your stomach. Position your head towards there. Is there space in the front? You can move a little if you have no place. Here, more to this side. Afterward. Do the Brahmari five times, each round for 18 repetitions. Now make yourself very comfortable in your body. Very soon it will come, but lie down and feel very good. Relax. Now, from your right foot... place your right hand's middle finger on the top, here on the stomach. Right hand. No, no, no. The right hand's finger on the... but lie down straight, not on your side. Don’t lie on your back. Straight back, straight spine. Lie down on your stomach. Place your hands on the floor beside you. Don’t lie down on your side. I told you yesterday, but still now, just lie down. Very good, comfortable. And put your right hand on your navel. Not on the outside, just open. Good, lie down on your stomach. You know, I told you the stomach should be very straight, good. And your right hand places the middle finger on your navel. The navel area is open, clear—not pressing on the stomach, but just resting above. It’s like you are... Lie down very well, and your right hand is on your stomach, and you are very relaxed. We went through Brahmari, and then we came to our stomach, to our navel. Now, place your hand beside your body. Fold both hands and place them on the floor, not on your legs. Yes, yes, fold your hands, yes, and put them on the floor. Just lie comfortably. Nice. Is your head on your stomach? Very much down, yes. Only fold your hands like this. Comfortable? Maybe you can bring them a little clearer, nearer to your legs, yes, on the floor. On the floor, very good. Hands not on the stomach. And now, hold your knees, but keep your feet down. Just hold your knees, that’s all. Comfortably. You cannot go up? I see. I will tell you. It’s okay. And now, left side and right side. So it means now, right side, and sit up. Sit on the right side or left side, as you like. Sit up. I did not lie down, but I was doing like this, you know? This we know. Our point? I mean, so many brāhmaṇīs, novel and relaxing. How many points do we have? I hope... That is two days more, and only two days more time, or three. Then you can do it, let’s say, in one month or one day or one hour. Very nice. If you cannot do it every day, then one day. One day. But every day, one or two other different kinds of these, our techniques, are very good. You will be very great, and it is very relaxed. No? Yes. Yes. And then your husband is lying down, and you will stand on him. Yes? You will step. Yes, you will lie down, husband, and you will step on you. Good? Oh, my God. Nobody says. Okay. It’s a joke. Thank you. Now it’s time for our lunch. Sleep well. Relax. And in the afternoon, you are going to that yoga, and I will come to the children in our children’s area where they are playing on the ground, but I will not let you come here. There are only parents and children, okay? Hari Om. Dīpa Vāgabandha.
