We come and go
We gather again in this holy place after years apart, remembering our shared practice and those who built it, like Kṛṣṇānanda. Though physical forms pass, their names and essence remain eternal, like the divine trinity. Many teachers exist, but the true Guru is supreme, recognized even by scriptures. We are like birds, unaware when or where we will fly from this temporary body. All life consumes other life in a cycle. Humans emerged slowly with knowledge, distinct from animals, yet now our scientific pursuits often distract from the inner path to the divine. External achievements are good, but the spiritual journey inward is paramount. Our modern dress and habits can lead us astray, unlike the beautiful, respectful attire of tradition and ceremony. Our yoga community is good. Dietary choices matter; avoiding meat and harmful chemicals leads to better health and purity, especially for nurturing children. We will practice deeply here, beyond just postures, for holistic well-being.
"Guru Brahmā, Guru Viṣṇu, Guru Devo Maheśa, Varāha. So, that is the final."
"We are like the birds... We don't know when we will, or in which direction we will fly."
