The Greatness of India and the Path of Satsang
Bhārata’s greatness lies in its sages and ṛṣis, but the path is satsaṅg.
People came from other lands yet remained unaware of this truth. Gradually many turned to wrong actions. The cosmic law is “jīva jīva bhakṣate”—every living being consumes another. Bhagavān Śiva granted humans a way to rise above this cycle. A human must become one who lives solely for God. Satsaṅg alone makes one like God. Wherever satsaṅg is received, that eternal truth leads forward with God. Through satsaṅg, a person resolves to harm no creature. Eating requires purity: wash, sit, pray, then partake. In India now, many have lost this. The hierarchy is Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, and above them the Guru. The Satguru is the source of removal of all sufferings. Satsaṅg is with the Guru. Everyone must learn to speak in satsaṅg, not merely listen. Understanding the words behind bhajans is essential. Do not just eat, drink, and wander. Engage in satsaṅg and become equal to God.
“Jīva jīva bhakṣate.”
“Jahan satsaṅg, jahan jisko miltā hai, vo bhagavān jaisā ban jātā hai.”
