The Unity of Humanity

A spiritual discourse on universal unity and transcending human divisions.

"Does it matter which color, or which countries are this? We should now understand that God is everywhere."

"When we will die... There is nothing. Is that we are all? We are all."

A speaker addresses an audience, weaving together observations on geography, human migration, and history—often with factual inaccuracies and conflations of places like India, Australia, and Austria—to ultimately argue that national and religious identities are superficial. The core message is that all humans are fundamentally the same and should love one another, as all distinctions dissolve in death and before God. The talk concludes with a blessing for peace and brotherhood among all present.

I am very happy that we are all here in India. India is a very large country. Among the five continents, India is the third. There are the bodily continents—this one, that one—and the fifth is India. This has always been the case; it is the land, it exists, and no one can change that. Consider Australia. It had another name originally, but after people came from London and Indians began to arrive, it was called an "Indian country." Why not? Every place is connected. The people who were in Australia—a very large country with many different groups—had a problem at that time: they could not speak other languages, only their own. They lived there because it is a vast land, and over time, they spread slowly to different areas. There were many regions... but at that time, there were no Europeans from Europe. They were from India. So India, the language and culture found in that site, originated from here. They knew and spoke of all that. It is a country of many people. Others came from the side of Europe. They had very large countries and different kinds of terrain—land, not land, water, ocean, but in different forms. Everything was there, and over time it spread slowly inward, like in Europe, though that was not exactly the same. So there are two types: this side and that side. People moved towards Australia, or to places like Slovakia, and all around. From one side they came, what we now call India, though not exclusively. Some are unsure if they are Indians or Australians, and so on. Otherwise, when we speak of what is from India, we mean India, and what is from other countries. But places like London, Africa—these are all countries, very much so. We don't fully know, but we are there. We are like the same people. You can come here, stand here, or you can say we are the same. We have the same face, body—okay? There are differences: some are tall, some a little dark, or otherwise. It was like this in all countries. Everything falls under the whole. All these roles we played on this side, and many others there, become everything. But still, we are the same. Now, consider the people here, or along a long, long way—how many are there? Faces like this: long, sharp, slender, everything. Are there other countries with many such people? People were a little different in many ways. Everything happened. But more or less, we are all human. We are all human. From this India, and India on that side, they were connected by the waters. Then, many different countries formed. But you know that. When we go there, there are two or three countries whose names I don't recall; I have forgotten a number of them. Abhyās, when I came here from Austria, they were all speaking Hindi. Abhyās, they have the Hindi language, and they all speak like this. They stand and come like this, and we Indians, like this, we became half so that we don't say too much—okay? We are okay: hello, hi. We have again like this, but a few countries are there. Is it that your countries and our countries are different? But still, why is that? The Indian country in Australia—why? Our countries, coming from that to this, and then some people come towards... Where is China? And so, their language, by the Chinese, was it? In this way, the people lived. Now, these people went with it; the water destroyed, cut it outside. An ocean that was there, a fire from this side, it was broken. And so what happened in India? Because all were fish, with the fish and so on. Now they separated into a certain part, so they came up near Australia. Australia, Kāradīyā, which is maybe where I want to call ways, there is a well, Indian, Indian, Indian for wet water coming, occurring ocean. In Australia, yes, and there where people were going, everybody was going there and there and there. What is that from them? We people in Australia, these people, at that time were not Indian; they did not take that. You know, they brought them to Australia, and I don't know, please, but they said they are selling, so that the people were not good, so they brought all the people here to this country, Australia. Now, there's nothing, so they went, and that is what happened. They began to kill these little, little other people, like from the last Indian there, on that side. They were very nice, all and this, but they all killed them, and this and that. And so they killed for many months, but it is a very big country. Then, of course, they tried to do something that they should not. And it was not so long, this, such a long, and that country, from the country of Austria or something. So that side, I think about 20 years now, or maybe a little less, but the government and everything, in the United Nations there, they all went and saw, all according to where this country, why, what kind of people, this and that. Nobody should kill. Do not do this and that. But then it is like this: that always Austrian. So, the Austrians, so yeah. Hey, there may was go that we are all. We are, be many, many years go, but come again. So that in the United Nations, in the United Nations, it is said, "This country is for all these people," like this, not Austrian, yes. So from London, Austria, New Zealand, Fijian, all what you are talking, Europe, Europe... Europe. And that time, I know that time, that still it was not. Always, when I was in Austria, here in Austria, so there, I was there, our Swami, Australia, and he was there. And at that time, only these people. Other people, they didn’t want to hate them or take this and like this. Yes, still there. But after slowly, slowly, you know, how many years it came, and I was talking. I was talking with the land, by which land you are talking? Why are you doing this? It is not your country. He was there, so that time it came. But now, I think 20 years or some more, I don’t know that, I don’t know. Everything said, all countries, all countries, which kind of it is, they have taken this like this. And so, Australia, when you have some program, governments, so government never speaking also. Everything, what is then? Then they get up, and what they speaking first? They are speaking in their language. I don’t know. I didn’t, again, I don’t know. I can’t say a long mega de la de la... de la... de la de country. Can tell you tomorrow. Last day, last time, I went from the nearby, this where my Nanda, Nandi came. At that time, those ladies are like this, like this, like that, so they are working very nice. But of course, coming people, like from here, India, Jodhpur, and Jodhpur, and these people here, they are not real. We are not real. We are like Germans. So these people, all of us, are here, and we are all like this: our color, our eyes, we are sitting. Everything is the other side. And that was it; it is in that side. So I was there, and I told them. And then what happened? I was going. I went there and I told these ladies, boys, and elderly, they were giving work to these people who came from India, this India, from here. These old people went there, Lakṣmaṇījī and this Indian. So we are from here, we are there, but in reality we are not there. But this is our country, so we have everything there. But these people there, they have the same dress, everything is exactly, and many things are there, and little, they are a little bit. Yeah, so more and good, it was from like this. But of course, we said we are India, we are very good. Of course, we are India, but this India, so there are people there from that side. They were thinking, "You are only India, you are from Rajasthan, you are this," but we are the others, but... Gujarat, and this, and too many people come in good land, and this is also good land. So in India, so it made that many people. So that’s what happened now, I can tell you. Now, all of Europe from here and this, they are working very hard, and they are working on everything, and they’re making all the work. And again, they put the people like this, so let them work. They are working, and they are working. So this is like this: everyone is thinking, but they have thought, "Please, can you come?" And they said, "What? It’s my country. You come, you work, everything, but it is my country." So we are coming from you to here. So it is very good, and the people are very good. They are everywhere, but they are very hardworking and very good, everybody. And they are doing good, of course; they are doing very good for them also. But people, they are one in their language, and different languages, and they are helping us, and we are helping them, so in their countries, similarly, like that in Rajasthan, just Afghanistan, what is it? Rajasthan, Afghanistan, yes, so Afghanistan is also there. This is all Buddha has said. So, in like this, so my dears, we should, it doesn’t matter, we should love all persons, little or the height, or this black or gourd or... Something, but we are human, and this is a human. And if a human will do something, but they cannot, they cannot do this. Ma Vivekananda, Swami Vivekānanda Jī, they also started to eat fish, yes, they also ate fish, so they... Also, say, "Go, go," but we, we are our best. We are good. Are you good with me? Nobody is thinking, yeah. That’s why I wish you, I wish you all of us, that it doesn’t matter which color, which, uh, gave this, or which countries are this. We should now understand that God, and God is everywhere and in every will be. But you know that. Someone said that they should do so. So when one dies, one dies. It doesn’t matter which country, which person, which language. When they have, one said, "In my country, best and my country, what is?" And from that, I go. Good. And others said like this. But I said, there’s one dog that died. There is one cow. The other is said to be like a buffalo. One said, "Little animal." And all, and they die. Now they die. Maybe it’s an official. Anybody here? Hurry up. He said, "My country," he said, "My country," okay, yes, yes,... But why can you? How can you lie down to your, as you die? The other one died from the cold. Others from the elements. All we are, lie down here, we are dead. So who is there then? Who is that now? But we have now, we know you have... this is your country. What is the Italian? Yeah, the Italian, Italian. He tells you, but then when he’s gone, and this one says, "I also, again, I’m here, but now you died, anything can happen." So, who will do this, really? Is there still somebody living? And we said, "My person is very great and died," but like this, we don’t know. I said to everyone, in your countries, in your life, everything that we think in this way, you do. But when we will die, and die much, but then we don’t know. Any animal goes with anyone, and so where will it be? So, everyone, you are from Christians, or Germans, or Rūpawas, or someone else, this all is very good. Muslims, they like the good, best there. Christians, they are very good, this there. Yogīs, be there. And India, Hindus, good. And like this, all is very good. But when we let them die, all this together, we will do anything. We can make in the earth, or we can with the fires, or like this, whatever you will do. There is nothing. Is that we are all? We are all, and we cannot say, "Oh, God," we will say. God, now I am coming home. Where are you going? I don’t know. There’s nothing. There’s nothing. So we know we are very good. We are humans, and we have our good thinking. Buddhists, okay. Christians, very good. Muslims, both badia good. Hindus, both good. We are okay, but how will it be in that case? And therefore, it is said we should, we should not save any people in this way for us. We are very happy, very clear. You are my all, and I think I put so long with the Hindi talking. Oh God. I will speak differently. God, I will speak again, language about different. So, thank you very much. You have come, many, many of our friends. We are all our bhaktas, we are our friends. We came from different countries, but we are all together. So, thank you very much. Leave, leave... With your life, good peace, harmonies, and I would like to tell you, you are my friend, you are my brother, you are my friend, you are all mine, and I am with you for all, I am with you.
