Follow the words of the Guru continuously

The essence of spiritual practice is following the Guru's word and living in truthful community. Following Guru Vākya without questioning brings grace and progress. Observing the community reveals a lack of unity and disciplined practice; individuals scatter to personal desires instead of walking a straight path together. True yoga in daily life requires this collective discipline, seen in dedicated practitioners worldwide. The Guru's position is paramount, even before divine figures, and one must commit to a single Satguru. A story illustrates the folly of valuing material offerings like gold over the Guru's presence. Husband and wife should work as one unified being, though marriage is a temporary arrangement distinct from spiritual love. Satsaṅg means gathering in truth. The community must now apply this through collective physical work in the garden, performing assigned tasks without question or complaint.

"By following his Vakya, we receive Guru Kṛpā."

"Satguru. And when you take one Satguru, then you should not take a second Satguru."

Om Namo Siri Prabhu Dīpa Nārāyaṇam. Hamsabhādas Prabhuśaraṇa Parāyaṇam. Om Namo Siri Prabhu Dīpa Nārāyaṇam. Om Namaḥ Siri Prabhu Dīpa Nārāyaṇam. Hama Sabadāsa Prabhu Śaraṇa Pārāyaṇam... Praṇām Gurudev. Praṇām to all brothers and sisters in this āśram. I was hiding myself around the world, but it seems that was not good enough, so Swāmījī invited me to speak. What I have realized in my life is the most important thing we are doing in yoga: this is Guru Vākya. Guru Vākya means we listen to what our Guru speaks and we try to follow his Vakya. By following his Vakya, we receive Guru Kṛpā. With Guru Kṛpā, we can attain something more, no? It is not always easy to follow his Guru Vākya because we lack the knowledge to see what he has in mind. He is Trikāladṛṣṭā—he sees our past, our future, and our present. Often we are confused and do not follow his Vākya. My experience is that the best thing we can do is simply to follow his Vākya without thinking why or what result we will get. I am not a good speaker; my brother is much better. I like to work, not to speak. I am now in national working Seva, and I try to do my best. We all in the ashram are doing some seva, and we should do our best without thinking it is hard or not hard, without thinking of our desires or wishes. The most important thing is just to follow and to do seva, for whatever we do, we do for ourselves now. You do not need everything now, for we have nearly nothing. I think that is enough for the first time. Thank you very much. What we are doing in our āśram here... I was working very hard and spoke about Gurujī Mādhāvan and Jīvan. Many did not practice. They were just sitting, or doing this or that—one going to eat, another going there. Without the right path, we will not progress. For about twenty days, I have been observing: are we following or not? It is not so. We have to become one, right? I see how it is. When we are not united, everything is scattered. What is the order? What is the meaning? Who is sitting there? Everyone is sitting loosely. I tell them when and how they should be. So, first, what we are doing in Europe is very straight. In our Bādīkhaṭu, Vīdīkhaṭu? No. Check. Still Kaya. When we have classes, how many are there? First, who is that one going and sitting, meditating in the big hall? How is everyone sitting and practicing? Sometimes, on the first day, one feels, "I will sit down," and then does like this. By the second day, it is settled. On the third day, yes. So for two or three days it happens with everyone when we begin. But many people in yoga, in daily life around the whole world, practice every day, morning and evening. If not twice, at least once. I would say about 80 people come, practice first, and then go to do what they want—eating, drinking, sleeping, or working for their livelihood. But everything they do is straight, on one straight path. They are very powerful, very good people. Many are there on the grounds outside. I tell them, "Stay like this, stay like this again." Sometimes they come together loosely, but when I come, then all is straight. Here, however, everybody is sitting loosely. That should not be so. We have very nice, big trees. They are looking well, but not so much. I would say 80% are good. The others are little children, parents, mothers, etc., and that is very good. I would also like to welcome them. Then, number three: these three are working and learning more, perhaps with the mother and children. Very good, all they are doing. But when I go into the class, the children do not go outside; they come quickly and sit there. I sit with their mothers. He is a very great man. This is very good. A man, you sit like this, good. And the mala is that, and so forth. The fourth time, these are all in the garden, working this and that. The fifth is very, very good. Of course, there are so many people—300 or more or less. How many cook? How many are in that big heart? Only two or three are good. Others should not come inside. They make beautiful, very good things for eating. They make very well. When it is ready, what do they do? First, only the children and parents together come. They are in a good place, and this is very great. Then there are other poems, and what is going to be? Their time, like here with me, how I am there, yes. Many people are doing this. Then, you know, my children will come, they will exactly sit there, they will bring the eatings, and then they are eating. The little child, about five or six years old, is also sitting up and wants to eat. Very nice. Then many people come, and this and that. There are people like this. Some people, like many here, are here. Some will come and hug; others will come, keeping distance. We should have some time to think. But what to do? We have to make the training, trainings, trainings. But when I go outside to my room, again they are together. So we made something for them to eat under the tree. Who? Who is telling that? Who is from? Look at that. Nobody wants to see them look like this, so I made for them a very nice place near a beautiful tree. In that way, this is called yoga in daily life. This yoga in daily life is not only in Vienna, Austria, the Netherlands, or Canada, but many, many everywhere. How many, Mahārājī? I do not know, also very many. How many people are practicing? They are trying, and they are looking for me: "Swāmījī, please, can you give us a guru?" There are many countries I have not seen, but it is like this here, and in that is the whole many, many world. You know that it may begin with this. That time it was beginning there, and many, many people, but they do not have like this inside. This is like this. I will tell you, some of you, or you who was... when we began, how many countries? Many, many countries are coming from yoga and their life. Yes? Do you know that someone? Can you tell me? Can you tell me? Do not do like this. Togriya, tell yes, sir. I do not know, he said. Stand up, yes, and said what? Also, again, this, what is think? Properly word, what, who, this? Okay, very good. Your mother was not taught too much. I know now you have to train yourself every morning for five minutes: what I speak, what should I tell, what is my voice, and this and that, everything myself. Yes, thank you very much. And who was? More, longer, who was there with me? Then I will also sit like this because they were not there at that time, maybe. In that, there is this many, many... we can, we will, we have taught it in how many, many countries? Many, many countries. So, yoga in daily life became in the whole world, and now it came to India. In India, they all, before the India yoga class or there in saint yoga there, but not so much. But then our Modijī, who is very great in the whole world—more in India than outside—he gave this. Of course, Modiji is not only doing one thing; there are a thousand things there. But some people make it in such a way, and then they make all in this way. That is not right, but there are very few. It is not only that we are more, but who is there? It is not only yoga in a daily person. There are many great saints from India, and their gurus went to many other countries, like London, America, and many other countries, their gurujīs, their names. So, when someone said, "Only one that is not this," then they all said, "No, the many." What is that? For example, one day, one mother got a child. Let us say in this village only. All were so happy for that one child. Everybody said, "Oh, baby," or this and that. Everybody said, "Yeah, they have a baby." They said, "Also, my baby." Yeah, because we are like brothers and sisters. Now, I do not know like this. Otherwise, many people were coming to their little villas, and they said, "Yes, everybody thinks, oh, mother, you are very good. Oh, these are our children, how we are. We like these, our children." Like that, I am speaking. After one month, somebody, another woman, she also got a child. All were happy. Oh, look again, I was a child in our here, and this lady, who was that? She told us, "Oh, we have two now, me and you too." So that is, we should be good people. All we are like father, grand, etc. We have no problems, negative. We have good things. All of India, very, very much, it was. Of course, when I go to other countries, and I saw in that time, now not. At that time, they got a child. Everyone was, "Oh, my child, very good," and this and that. And mother, there is one mother, and that mother is forever, not going out. And father, that father, that father is great, and all the times, and also they are together. Both families, both husband and wife, are still living their life inside. But how? So the people did not know first where that man would be and how good the families were, which are this, that. And they were doing all for the children’s good. So not only in India, but in all other countries where I am so good, I have seen it all the time. Now, can I see you that here, now today with me? My disciples here, they are my very friends. So this is one, then two, and three, and the fourth child. That, my disciples, is so good. They cannot eat anything from the meat or anything. I can tell you just now. So there is one first father. Look up. Please stand up. Yeah. Very good. Number one. Yeah, stay, stay. And then their child, this child. Yeah, so this is so nice. They are five sisters. And then there is our brother, this other child. And this child is very nice. So the four, these are four. And these are four from the countries from this. And you cannot imagine, you cannot imagine how they are. Thank you, please sit down. And he will, he will tell after, okay? When I was there, the children were going. She was little, this one, and this, and this. I was in Australia there, on this side, and good. When I was there, he told me, "Swamiji, I do not eat meat and eggs or anything. I am eating only fruit, and this grandmother, that he’s standing." So, like this, people give me in my, how I give them, everybody how. And they are still, you see, you cannot imagine. You cannot imagine about this family. Oh my God. It is like my great mother, father, every together. Yes. That is how we have to come. That is then the yoga beginning. Yoga, now many whom they are saying yoga, yoga practice, yoga, what kind of yoga? That was always speaking. That is okay, always. It is in our books, everywhere there is like this. They are looking that, but how is the guru? What was their guru and guru? Or, you know, who is the biggest or first? After that, who is that? Bhagavān Śiva. Śiva, right? Bhagavān Śiva. Like Śaṅkar, Śiva, Bhagavān. But after that is a guru. So the guru is before Śiva. Yes, you know that all? That is a guru, Satguru. Chattguru Swamijī. There are gurus. There are all kinds of gurus. A small child coming there, then parents coming, and then they will come to the school, also name of them, and then school, and then after school, they come back big, then again the other, then the marriage is also there. So how many yogīs and disciples? That is step by step, and then it is coming, Satguru. That is Satguru. And when you take one Satguru, then you should not take a second Satguru. Yeah, yes, we take that our friends or our family or from our neighbor as like that gurus, but only that is a last, and that last after that is calling beautiful. So Gaia was a Gaia, the big ya ya... To see Tārā and so on, and it is like this until we are coming, and then it is coming to the highest point. That means Bhagavān, Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Śiva, all of them. After that, the Satguru, Śiva. That we can see, that is the last. Bhagavān Śiva has done everything, but that is what he thinks, what he said after that, how beautiful, every good thing. There is even Bhagavān Śiva that looks like this. He looks like this. That is that, then we are all for our practice. In this practice, okay, we do everything that is good. We are making exercise, practicing, going, running, everything is okay. But after all that, it comes in the heart. And there is one beautiful, very beautiful, Holy Gurujī was telling once, and that will, I will tell you later. This, that is that. That, what is, who is first? First is first. But do you know who is the first man or the woman? Who is that first? And when they said this, then what is this? So said Śiva, Bhagavān. Shiva said, "I will go and tell that I am the first." And he went with some yoga like this or something. And he was going a far distance, and there was one house. Many nice, that is what kind of this? Have money and everything, what do you call? Merchant. So this merchant is very much, and everything. And this was the day I just came for two years. And meditation and everything in my house. If you came, then give, but after, do not tell me, "Do not go out," or this. And he said, "Gurudev, I will do everything, and everything in my house is beautiful, and this... and it is yours. Please, please... please." He said, "Yes, but do not tell me then that I go out." Ah, Gurudev, oh my Gurudev, you go and make your ashram badiyā, and I give you out, I will kill myself, he said. My gurus also, he had like a beautiful house, and he had nice, nice sitting, and fruits, and this and milk, and this and that, and then, so Śiva Bhagavān Śiva, and then another came, that woman Śiva and Purāṇa, so she is coming. Also, in that garden, a place somewhere in his place, or what is it? So, this is a very good woman. Nice. Now, is everything all gold? Gold. Everything is gold, and something like this and like this, and he is coming there, this lady. And where is this farmer? There or not? Farmer, other one, man, what was it? Merchant? Oh, so why? Why? Oh, oh, you are a saint? Oh, you are a saint? Oh, you are... what are you doing? Oh, no, I will not do anything. Give me water, give me water. What is this water? You should give the best guru. Again, yes. Arre, main toh isko bharā huā toh hai. It is full, full of these calendars. But I took only once, and second, I cannot make it like again. I am not like that. Once I take my water, only as much as I can, only once. And the second time, I take it in my mouth again. So, what can I do? He said, "I do not know." Bring the gold mirror again. Again, gold comes. All drink and throw it. Hare. Hare kṛṣṇa. Hai. Ho ho. It is this and that. So, I want to have some ashram like this. So that I will be two months. And kya? Padhariye. Padhariye, Gurudev. Please, Gurudev, I am. Yes. And she comes. Clump. Clump. Clump. Deka, so she said, "Here is one sādhu in this room, I cannot be." I go, does not matter. He said, no, no, no. Please, I give other house, beautiful. He said, I do not want, I have many. What do you think about me? This, this. He said, "No, I want to have this one." And I want to do this, if you give it to me, otherwise I go. So he threw so much gold, like this, like this. Oh, my God. And the other sādhus sitting here many times, this, that, and I am... and she said, "Only this and this, not anymore. Do not make me, I am going." He said, "What is that?" He said, "Gurudev, you have given me for two years, and then..." You can go. You told me, and I give. Again, he goes to the other. She said, "It does not matter. Do not tell me like this. I go." He said, "No, no, no. Do not go, please." Many times. And then this merchant said, "Hey, Babājī, I told you so many times." Take it in the other room. You can go. He said, what? What is it, Bābājī? Please take it out. Okay. You will see that what you will have, I go and he went at it, and he went too quickly, like Guru Dev. I was very quickly running. Please, please, thank you. She came with them, then they said, "Where is Sādhujī?" "I have removed him. He is yours." He said, "I cannot do like this, for I was a sanyāsī." He said, "Do not think of the gold. Gold is nothing. I am more than the gold, but I will go. I do not like you." And then he also went away. He went, and again he was crying. This man is, because so much gold and everything. And further, there was God, Guru, that Bhagavān, he was a little bit lapar. And she also came here, and they came in the forest somewhere. And she said, "Gurudev, his husband, who is that? Better you or me?" He said, "Yes, you are." So the women, what is the women? How is the woman? Very great, very nice, everything. But if we have not gone like this and like this, then how many problems after that and that? And so, in that way, it is like this: how to go, and this. And mother, how is that mother? How is she doing? How everything is, and like that. So mother and father, they have all. But they should be one, so they should know first, yes, we are both like that, and we should not be, for the whole body, our body. When you go for, I do not know, giving, what is that word even, I do not know, meeting woman and wife, not a marriage, in the night, or any time, you become like. This is not for long: one year, maximum one hour, say, five days, okay, one month. Or, like, that is all finished. So your husband is going and bringing work, and this, she is also working and everything. It is not like that. Marriage for a while is okay. So it is not for the land. Yeah, it is not for the love. The love is a different love, and therefore, they are, they said, Her husband, what told him and what he told him? He said, "We have to work." We are very relaxed. We go. It does not matter sometimes, or this, but for our house, our work, our whole people. I should always be in these places. In that, in my yes, that is the husband and woman, they are one, and this is together. They are doing all happy and good things, and like this. In that, it is that, that we are going there. Otherwise, it is coming, many negative things and this and that. What is sat? Truth. Sat, saṅg. What is a saṅg? Together. These two words, like that, this is. What is that? Satsaṅg. Satguru Gurujī ke māre re. Chal chal kar ke jayenge. So in that way, I am telling for whom? To you people here. Because in this ashram here, all the time when I go out, everybody is sitting like this. What is that? And go, how many in the kitchen? Kitchen kya hai? Kitchen hai ke kitchen hai? Kitchen, how you go so many in that? And Janaki Bhai kya hai? But ek ātā hai, do sī dārtī hai, ek sorry karte karte das to ye kām kare. And, ahead of that, another. So, I give you that work in that way, that much, so much work. And do here, our work would have already been bigger. So, here is that: come and have your tea and go today. And, in whole, can work here, not only there. Yeah, I will only be a good... We are all in. We are all in to satsaṅg. Why are you there? You do not know the language. You have different languages in your country, many, many. But what you are doing, like that, so again I see so many. Nearly I thought, "How many are working?" Other one who will come now and doing working data, that is it, yes. And he, so you like this. Want to do like this? Yes, she is very good. She has done many things, and good things, and everything, really. But now I am only about five or six months, and then I am going again. So I want to see now, tomorrow, everybody, the whole in the gardens, outside. All we have to cut out everything, little, little grass, not a grass, but Moses, okay? So everybody go, and he will go with. You and he will tell how to work everything, okay? Yes or not? As only four people said, again they come at the income all town and say, "Thank you, yes." I mean everything now, now three times he and this and who. I was doing, and when I say, yeah, that is UDC. So it means that you are, they think me that I am now fruits. Yes. So tomorrow I am going, and I will see whole day, two days, and what you have done, and why not this. You know, we have this other thing that we brought, a very nice potion. And you do not know what that is. And we put it in Sāvatthī, and it is gone. That was very great, and it is very good for our cows. This is great for the cows and the animals. They took it very much, you know. But they did not know; they just gave it. So two people or three people go and look, and anymore there is this and this. And then, what we are talking of, get the cows inside, the cows, yeah, so they can eat it. Yes, everything, otherwise sitting there, Sonny Bhai aayi, why they aayi? nir fasi pari ki pari, ab yaan hai kari, to ish liye, but Sonny Bhai ko kain ki thaara wo gaam hai nahi, but jeet bhai pesh yon. Nahī, usko peś denā, hāṁ, koī kartī to hai nahīṁ, I will tell you, do not think. You should not think, okay? I will do, yeah? But do not tell them; Swāmījī has told you. And if you, this girl is always telling everything to others. She is always telling everyone. And then she goes to the kitchen valley. Kitchen valley or kitchen valley? Kitchen. So I will do what I am taking you. Om Namah Śrī Prabhudeepāya. Om Namah Śrī Prabhudeepāya. Hamsabdhaspra śaraṇaparāyaṇam namo śrī prabuddhi. Hamsabdhasprabhuśaraṇaparāyaṇam yom namo prabuddhi. First, we have to destroy this, and then remove this. Śānti, śānti, śānti.
