We have to go on that path

This bhajan is a meditation on the holy feet of Alak Purījī. Singing it places one in that divine presence, bathing in the Caraṇāmṛta that flows eternally. This sacred river, Alak Purījī, is the Divine Mother, Nanda Devī, whose radiance sustains the universe. It represents the primordial source from the Satyuga, a lineage from Brahmaloka. The path of devotion is as narrow as walking on a knife's sharp edge, requiring total concentration amidst worldly distractions. One must walk this path with unwavering focus on the Guru, not divided like cheese. The present age demands this focus to awaken and save souls through this grace. The word "Alak" signifies that which is beyond writing or full description.

"Feel yourself in meditation at the holy feet and the holy dust of Alak Purījī."

"The path is called Khaṇḍa Kī Dhār. The sharp part of the knife, and over on that you have to walk."

This bhajan is also a prayer. Everyone will sing it, but while singing this bhajan, you should feel yourself in meditation at the holy feet and the holy dust of Alak Purījī. Thus, through our bhajans—singing, listening, and not merely feeling—we are here in the cosmic light, happiness, joy, light, and peace at Ālagpurījī’s holy feet, which is called Caraṇāmṛta. You know, all that we drink is the Caraṇāmṛta of Gurudeva, and every Guru Pūrṇimā, Guru Day—which is called Saturday—or indeed every day. Today I was thinking, and in these thoughts was that it’s called the Alak River; we came after Alak Nanda. And this Alak Purījī has given for all creatures, all humans, all yogīs, all saints, and all bhaktas. Allāk Purījī has given us his Caraṇāmṛta. Day and night, from ages and ages, Allāk Purījī is flowing here, giving and joining with where the Gaṅgā is joining with Allak Purījī. That is Bhāgīrathī, and this is Allak Purījī. When we see in our Gītā or in our scriptures, it is mostly water that is given to Bhagīrathi. And there, Bhagirathī’s disciple was Gītā—Gaṅgā, sorry. And Alag Purījī is Nanda Devī. That is the Divine Mother, the Cosmic Mother. Not only as a human, but it has its radiance to the whole universe. And so, there it is said: we are one in all, and all in one. Apo sumal chetan ātmā, Prabhu vimal chetan ātmā. Dhyāge agam jāge, nigham se satyātmā, Prabhu nigham se satyātmā. Śrī Guru Ātmā Param Ātmā Ātmā Parupatama Sakal Jagake Antrajāmīchara Karkī Ātmā Prabhucharacharkī Ātmā Alakpurī Jī Mahādevakī Śivanānjī Mahārājakī Devādidev Deveśwar Mahādevakī Haradī. Bhagwān Siddhīp Nārāyaṇ Mahāprabhujī Kī Satguru Swāmī Madhvānandjī Bhagwān Kī Satya Sanātana Dharma Alaknandā Bhagwān Kī Jeho Harī Om. This is a prayer by the Khatus, King’s Choti Khatus, and his name was Savāī Singh. But when he came to Mahāprabhujī and wanted to become a sanyāsī, all their families, everybody said, "You can do bhakti, you can do everything, but why are you becoming a sanyāsī?" But he said, "You will not understand." And so Mahāprabhujī asked him again. And again, to Mahāprabhujī, Shivanānjī—his name was Shivai Singh. Then Gurujī, Holy Gurujī, called the people, the families, and they all agreed for him to become a sanyāsī. So Savayāsenjī’s name, which Mahā Prabhujī gave him, was Shivanānjī, and in this āratī, Shivanānjī is mentioned. Did you understand "Alak"? What was this again? Can you read this? "Alak Deva Alak." This word "Alak" means "is not." You cannot write it, or we cannot tell something. Alak. "A" means "know." Lak means writing. We cannot write the glory of that Alakā. And we call Alaka Purījī. This is the, what we call, the explanation of this prayer, which Śivanāndajī was doing. Śivanānjī was the disciple of Mahāprabhujī, and Śivanānjī was the guru-brother of our Gurudev Swami Madhavānandjī, and my guru-uncle is Śivanānjī. So, all written in this Āratī, these are the evidences of Alagpurījī. So, don’t think that we create something. No, who are we to create? They create us. They create us, and maybe in this, you can hold it in your lap. I am hot. So, maybe in this Yuga, Ālagpurījī brought me here. Devapurījī very clearly said all messages and everything. That time I was not born at all. And Holī Gurujī has seen in his Līlāmṛt, you have heard what’s called the hint. And Mahāprabhujī spoke to Devpurījī, and it is said, "All will come, one will come and bring all the souls in that lineage of Alagpurījī." And our Gurudev, Satguru Swāmī Madhavānandjī Bhagavān—you know, many of you have seen, some may not. So, and with them, Alagpurījī has given those sannyāsīs, who are really sannyāsīs; getting the orange cloth is the thing. Attachment, attachment is not successful, successfully. So it is said in this Ālagpurījī’s bhajan, prayer, what we have seen. And so Sivanandajī said very nicely, and you know all, and that is that word: those who can understand my words are mine. And gossiping, talking negatively, who have no 100% confidence, only sometimes here, sometimes not here. Here we have many yoga or satsaṅgs, gufā, but you can go one day and have a praṇām. But some people are there for a while, it is their wife; after going somewhere for some days, it’s their wife. You are everyone’s wife. That you cannot bring to that path to see that evidence from where. Otherwise, many yogīs are here, even they don’t have a guru. And if they have the guru, still they don’t tell why my guru is that, and my guru is that and not. So we have to go on that path. And that path is called Khaṇḍa Kī Dhār. Khaṇḍa is like a sword or a knife. The sharp part of the knife, and over on that you have to walk, that’s it. And what we can do, we become cheese, half at this side and half this side. But even we can, we can walk on this also, like who? Are training can walk on the rope from here to there, about 40 meters. 20 meters, 15 meters is too little for them. And that is walking on the tiny, what we call the roof, and water pot on the head, and dancing with both hands like this, and people are laughing and admiring, and they are all looking to her, and he or she is also looking to them, and like this. But this is a māyā, what? And moving, laughing, doing something, movements, smiling to them, but the concentration is of his. The soul is on his feet, that he walks here. Similarly, we can go anywhere, but our thought, our Gurudev, is that which is this. And now we found it from ages. How many ages? Alak Purījī, from how many times it came. And we are from that Satyuga. Saul again came to Alak Purījī, and from here now on, we are, like, we are on the lineage of that Brahmaloka, Alak Purījī. Of course, if you said, "No, I will take another path," no problem. In this river, many were lost. No problem. And many became walking on the water like this. Today, we were sitting there, and I said, "Please sit anywhere and look at this water’s movement." That is the sound of that. Now he is also sound. Sometimes you can hear, like, the distance that a railway is moving, but this is a very good sound. And now we are there. Now, why? Why now, and why not before? This is the question, because now you have to save those great saints and bhaktas. Through the Ālak Purījīs, you have to save this all in the world, and therefore you are there, here to get these blessings and energy. And now you have the initiation to make all awake, them that you are coming here. So how it is said? Many days bhajan, and that’s called Śabad bhajan hai. Śabad sa nahī̃ mārī jā, Tārā mārī hai lī. Aur na yāve mere dā. Bolo bolo, drink drink hai hit. Śabado se le na hai. Śabdo se le bāt bāt mārī hai lī Do se karnī hai bāt, bāt mārī helī Dasane hī mārī jāt, rā mārī helī Dasane hī mārī jāt, rā mārī helī Na yāve cold, cold, rā mārī helī Does sāne myāre sāth, sāth māri helī. He māri jāt rā māri heli, Sab darśane he māri jāt. Ave māri jāt, Māri māri heli. Aur na ave māri dāī, Dāī māri heli. Sab darśane he māri jāt, Rā māri heli, Sab darśane he māri jāt. God bless you. ... ... ... ... Therefore, it is said, Pūraṇam a god below a the Pūraṇam a god hey go a the Pūraṇam a bow a the Pūraṇam a god hey guru Caraṇam a other seth Niyate o Ved, Viveka Subhate, Uru Charanam Yad Sattat. O Ved Puranam Ghat, Uru Charanam Yad Sattat. Guru Charanam Yad Sattirat. Ved Purāṇam Gāta Guru Caraṇam, Yad Sattirat Saṅgh Dmānand Pāte. Sathya Svaup Saṅkate, Devān Mukta Patate. Borya Carma Maraṇa Nahi Āte, Piyo Śarīraṇam Sugatāte. Ravjanaṁ Maraṇa Nahi Āte, Guru Caraṇam Yad Chhata. Voh Ved Purāṇam, voh Ved Purāṇam, they sing in the Purāṇas, they sing in the Ved Purāṇas. The Guru’s feet are entwined in the Ved Purāṇas; they are entwined in the Ved Purāṇas. ... Guru Charaṇam Yad Sattatiratahe Vo Veda Purāṇam Enga Guru Charaṇam Yad Sat Tīrat Hai, Voh Ved Purāṇam Gāte Hai. Guru Charaṇam Yad Sat Tīrat Hai, Voh Ved Purāṇam Gāte Hai. So, they who go to the Gurudev’s path. And so, our Ārāḍī Bhagavān Dīpnanā Mahāprabhujī said, "Man vāḍhīre dī cāl gagana gara caḍanā, bhai, man vāḍhīre dī cāl alaka purī calanā. Īmānavādī re dī calāvaṅgara calanā re bhai, īmānavādī re dī re alakhapurī me calanā re bhai." Imanwadī re dī calāvaṅgara calanā re bhāī, thank you. Manavade alakalik alakpaki chaldeva. Okay, same, go, other, continue. Man vā dhīre dhīre chāl gagan, Man vā dhīre dhīre chāl gagan gar chad nāre bāi, ... ... ...... ... Thank you for watching. Oṁ Dīpak Vāhyasī Bole, Rūpa Navāhe Pāyī, Man Devapurī Jī, Meru Merā Batāyī. So therefore it is said, Mahāprabhujī said, Devapurījī said, Ālagapurījī said, all, everyone. Jāve dātā olu avi sā nena bhara jāve. Guru sattva-saṅgīyāri olu avi, sattva-saṅgīyāri olu avi. Sarva-śabdānsa virājē tīnai to, kunsa kya khāve? Motī nahīṁ to haṁsa kya khāve?
