A Gathering in Grace

It is good to see everything, to understand fully the practices and mantras. This understanding brings greater happiness and allows one to see all spiritual activities clearly.

The mind often works in confusion, attached to worldly things and selfish actions, which leads to suffering. The sincere prayer is to be awakened from this sleep, to be turned toward selflessness and real knowledge, and to become a giver. The gathering itself is a beautiful opportunity, a reason for happiness, with the promise of more to come.

"O Lord, bless me that I do not waste my life."

"Turn me into the lover of selflessness."

It is good that we see everything. We know, mostly, about our bhajans, our yoga center, and our mantras. But sometimes, some persons cannot fully understand about when we have a mantra or this practice. It is good that we see everything. Sometimes we can tell something about what we were talking of. Then you will be more happy, and you will see everything: spirituals and mantras, and all that we are doing. Shall I translate into Czech? Yes, yes. "O Lord, bless me that I do not waste my life. I do not understand how the mind is working. And I haven’t seen anything worthy in this world. I am attached to worldly things. Day and night, I act selfishly. I wasted another day. I was hoping, I was searching for enjoyment. But actually, I was suffering great pain. 'Probuď mě. Wake me up, O Pane, O Lord, please.' So that I am not asleep anymore. Turn me into the lover of selflessness. Anything I do, may I do for others. I have the rare opportunity, O Lord, to get rid of my pride. Take away all my possessions and make me a giver. Bless me that I may search for real knowledge. You are the only hope I have. Om Boleś Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Gvaṇā Kī Jai Kī Jai." How are you all? Thank you very much. You see that you are all our brothers and all our gurus and your parents and everything, and we come from a far distance, and we are here. We are very happy, and I am very happy that all of you are here. We will bring somebody, and you should also sing a bhajan or something. I will tell you a few words afterwards, but this is very beautiful, everything. We are going to talk together. I will tell you something else, but the fact that we are here is already beautiful. Śrī Dīpnā Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Śrī Madhavānanda Jī Bhagavān Kī Jaya, Abha Hama Guru Śaraṇa Sukhapāya. Śrī Dīpnā Bhagavān, Kī Jaya, Śrī Mādhavānandajī Bhagavān, Kī Jaya. Thank you. And tomorrow will be more. And tomorrow there will be more. Please come. There is a very powerful prayer which we hardly ever sing.
