Everything is within thyself

A morning practice of presence reveals unity with all.

Stand and raise your hands. Lower them to your heart. Look left: what is seen? Look right, then ahead. See birds, many things given. Look down to earth with its creatures. Look up: direction is up, pure. Close your eyes. Open, look straight: “Am I here? I am.” Look left, right, down, up: only sky. Realize no one, no directions. Only up, pure and clean. Sit, moving left-right, down to ocean or earth, up to sky. All become one. On waking, know “I am human,” greet Mother Earth, invoke water: Jal Jagadīś. See ocean, a drop falling, feel complete; then five minutes morning practice, day awareness, evening satsaṅg—close eyes, peace, Śānti.

“Am I here? I am.”

“Look up, there is only a beautiful sky.”

We will practice something, and also with the very beautiful things that Gurudev has given. First, I would like to say: stand up and raise your hands. And lower them, straight again, and again bring them to your heart. This is what we have taught. And I heard this: “My Lord, I am coming.” I will go into the ocean. From there, I will go to God. And from God, O my Lord, I will be in heaven. I am mine, you are mine. I am yours and you are mine. Again, come down. And then we lower our hands, your hands straight down, and look down. Oh my Lord, what you have given me—so very beautiful and great. Very nicely, looking to that side, see how far I can go, and then again turn to the front. Again, from the left side, what can I see? Where should I see? What is there between? And again, come back to the front. It is also very beautiful, very good. I am looking straight ahead as well, to see where I can see. And let me look again to the right side. Where can I go? As long as you can see there, you see many, many things. And again, I look ahead. What do I look at? How many things are in front of you? Many things: birds, and again, look around to all three sides, and what have you seen? Who has given these to you? All good things, many things, yet always coming differently. Now let us, dear ones, look up. And again, up. Which direction should I go? See, it is very hard and pure and very good—many, many things. But your place, my place, is to go up. Yes. Now, and then again look down and see below. On the earth. Na zemi. It is good, the earth is good. But there are thousands and thousands of them here on the earth—very small animals. I look, and many things are coming and going. And I close myself. Close your eyes. Whatever you have and whatever you were looking at—close your eyes. Again, open your eyes and look straight ahead. Am I here? I am. I am... Left, right, down. Down and up, straight into the sky. Look up, there is only a beautiful sky. Am I? That is, only this: now I tell you, there is no one. No one. No down, no left, no right. Lo, up! What is that? I am. I am. And what is that? Very pure, clean, in the oven. Hari Om. Close your eyes and sit down. Five times: left, right, left, right... Left, and down—ocean or earth—and what is up? Sky. We will all come one day. We all become like this—only one. So every day, five minutes is enough, in the morning. I have given you many things, as I have told you. When we are sleeping, and then we wake up in the morning, open your eyes. And see something. Wait. I have told you, and that is what it was: I am human. So when we wake up, we should know, I am human. Then we said, “Mother Earth, please give me your place to put.” Then Jal, Jal Jagadīś, Jal Jagadīś, and we go there, where? After that, you know, water. Water, water is the greatest. We can see the ocean, and we are standing there. And in our hand, one drop of water. A drop comes from above, just one drop, and below is the ocean, just as we drop down. I am complete, whole, all. When we look up, also, this is what I have told you: come about five minutes early in the morning. And then, for the whole day, you will have two things. And what will you see in these two? Evening. Evening satsaṅg. So now, close your eyes. Relax. Peaceful. Everything. Everything. Relax comfortably. Be happy. Look—everything. Śānti.
