Vishwaguruji's divine work for the world

The essence of satsaṅg is the personal connection with the Guru. This connection is a unique human opportunity, distinct from distant or mediated relationships. Distance is created by inner fears, complexes, and ego, which act as mud or rust. Satsaṅg serves to purify the inner self, making one receptive like clean iron to the philosopher's stone. The ongoing practice is a constant cleaning of this rust. The goal is to enter the divine dance between the disciple and the Guru.

"That is the dance between Śiṣya and Guru. It is to have this personal connection."

"Satsaṅg is for purifying our inner self. We only need to make ourselves into nice, clean iron."

Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Praṇām Gurudev, Hari Om, dear friends. What is the most important thing in satsaṅg? The most important thing is when we are with our Gurudev, when we have darśan, and when we have the opportunity to come to greet him, to simply come near to Gurudev. That is the truly unique chance in human life: to be with the Gurudev personally. In other religions, you always have somebody who is like a keeper of goats and sheep. But in yoga, you are not symbolized with that stick, which is for the pastor, the shepherd. I always remember one story connected with the Dharamdanda and Kṛṣṇa. There was a festival, a big festival: Śarad Pūrṇimā. Kṛṣṇa was dancing with ten thousands of Gopīs and Gopas, dancing at the same time with all ten thousand. That is the dance between Ātmā and Paramātmā. That is the dance between Śiṣya and Guru. It is to have this personal connection, not with somebody who is on a screen and 10 or 20 meters away from you, but with somebody where, within a few seconds, you can come, bow down, and have the opportunity to enter that dance. Distance is only our fears, our complexes, perhaps our ego. Because of that, they say: when you have the pāras (the philosopher's stone) and you have the iron, why is the iron sometimes not transferred into gold? Perhaps our pāras is not a real pāras. Or, it is the distance between the pāras and the iron. That distance is our complexes, fears, and all that we have inside, which is like mud. But satsaṅg is for purifying our inner self. I hope that all of us will be good, clean iron. We have a pāras. The problem is not the distance between the pāras and the iron. We only need to make ourselves into nice, clean iron. I pray to Viśva Gurujī to help us, all of us, to clean this iron nicely. When you are on a boat, on a ship, what do you do every day? I worked on a ship for a few months. What is the main job on the ship? Cleaning the rust. Cleaning the rust is the everyday job, and you start from the beginning till the end. Then you start from one side, and then you can start from the other side, and then you can start from the beginning again. That is our sādhanā. Thank you, Viśva Gurujī, for the opportunity for satsaṅg and thank you for having the darśan. I know that we will have many more satsaṅgs with you, and this iron will be every time cleaner and cleaner. Śrīdīp number one, kī jaya! Hari Om, dear friends, yoga sisters, yoga brothers. Probably, if you watched the webcast from India, you saw this very book that Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Svāmījī is showing to you. If you were wondering what this book is about, the time has come for me to tell you a few words about it. Thank you. It is called Golden Jubilee, and the subtitle is "More Than 50 Years of Tireless Service to the World Through the System of Yoga in Daily Life and the Message of Śrī Alakhapurījī Paramparā." This is the topic of the book: the 50 years of Svāmījī’s service, seva, throughout the whole world. In our country, Czechia, we celebrate 50 years of Svāmījī’s coming here to the former Czechoslovakia and the present Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. We also prepared a publication about this; we are still working on it and it will be published in summer, I believe. But this book really covers the whole world. It is written by Svāmījī’s disciples. Rādhā and Svāmī Gajānanjī and Santoṣ and many others took part in it. Muktānanda from Novi Sad was preparing the photographs—there are many photographs in the book. A great Karmayogī, whose name is actually Karmayogī, did the design of the book, and also many people did the proofreading. But the main work, of course, is done by Svāmījī, though he didn’t know about the book beforehand. You can read there about the system, Yoga in Daily Life, how it developed and how it spread all over the world. You can read and also look at the photographs of the Om Āśram construction. Śrīlī Mahāprabhujī’s āśram is also included. There are Svāmījī’s peace activities, basically global peace activities. There are Svāmījī’s titles explained. You know that first he got the Jagat Guru title, which means the master of the world, and now we call him Viśvagurujī, the master of the whole universe. You can read more about these titles there as well. You can read and also see many pictures of how Svāmījī met world dignitaries and leaders. You know that the Croatian president, Stjepan Mesić, was really close to Svāmījī; he visited him even in India. Svāmījī met two Slovak presidents, for example, and there are many other meetings with ministers and prime ministers from many other countries of the world. Svāmījī’s environmental activities are also covered. You can see several beautiful pages of tree planting from many countries on many continents. I would just mention Mike Rann, who is, I believe, the ex-premier, the prime minister of an Australian state—South Australia, I think. Svāmījī inspired him so that finally several millions of trees were planted in a very arid region of South Australia. And, of course, there is a rainwater harvesting project, and Gośālā shelters for poor animals, mainly cows—a refuge for lonely or sick cows—and many other activities of Svāmījī that help to improve the life of all living beings: people, animals, and basically the whole planet. This is information about the most diverse Svāmījī activities and projects, from which the whole planet has benefited—people, animals, and the whole planet. On the back cover, you can probably see an invitation for the grand opening ceremony at Jadān Āśram in 2023. I believe that will be the final touch of this book, like a final ceremony or event. We would like to thank all the people who contributed to this book. And mainly, we would like to thank Svāmījī for enabling the writing of this book, because he is the content of it. The book was printed in India, and I do not know whether it is available here yet. Hopefully it will be. In the future, it will be printed here also. This is the book of Svāmījī’s whole life, and each and every one of us should have it. I hope when it will be printed—it is full color with many pictures—it will be a really, really impressive book. We had the honor to print it in India for the Indian market. Hopefully, we will be having it here. This is for each and every one of us. If you cannot wait for it to be published in Europe, you are probably most welcome to come to India and buy it there. Thank you so much.
