Bhajans for World Peace (2/3)

Seek refuge in the Guru to cross the ocean of worldly existence and attain liberation. You are trapped in the cycle of birth and death, where all possessions and relationships are ultimately left behind. The Guru is the means to cross this ocean, destroying inner enemies like desire and anger. By taking shelter and consciously repeating the divine name, one can be freed from ignorance. The goal is a transcendent state beyond birth, death, and karma, described as indescribable light and eternity. This state is sought through complete surrender, offering all aspects of life—success, defeat, work, and love—into divine hands. The aim is to live in the world yet remain pure, with the single task of reaching the divine.

"O Gurudev, you are the means of crossing the ocean of worldliness."

"Oh Lord, I offer all my work and all my mistakes into your hands."

Om Śrī Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Akī Chai. Om Śrī Gurū Nānak Akī Chai. Om Viśvagu Mahāmaṇḍaleśvar Paramahaṁsa Svāmī Maheśvarānandāchirudev Akī Chai. We are here, praying for world peace and Gurudev’s health. A small reminder: please offer your prayers, your singing, your thoughts for Gurudev’s health and for peace in the world. We will sing. Bhava Sāgara Tāraṇa Karaṇa... The translation says: "O Gurudev, you are the means of crossing the ocean of worldliness. You are the destroyer of the bondage of death. Gurudev, please show compassion on thy humble servant who has come to thy refuge with a mind stricken with fear. You are the sun who dispels the darkness of the cavity of the heart. You are Viṣṇu, Brahmā, and Śiva. About you, the Vedas proclaim you as the supreme Brahman, beyond even the undifferentiated nature. You hold the stick of discipline, and you help people to cross the ocean of saṃsāra. You have awakened the kuṇḍalinī from her sleep. You cut asunder the knots of the heart. You are the destroyer of all the enemies: kāma, krodha, lust, greed, etc. Your name has the power to destroy all three sorrows—all three tapas: ādibodhic, ādidevic, ādiatmic. Your name is always a source of good. You are helping those who have fallen. Your glory is indescribable. Therefore, victory to thee, O Satguru Deva. You guide us on how to attain God. Please help me that my mind remains always at thy blessed lotus feet." You will be in endless bliss when you always repeat God’s name. Du bist im Rad des Saṃsāra gefangen. You are caught in the wheel of Saṃsāra, as if in a prison, and your life is flowing away with each moment. All that you possess will not go with you. Death will take everything away and will consume you. Neither mother, father, brother, nor friends will be able to go with you in the end. Du bist tief verstrickt im Netz von Moha und Māyā. You are deeply entangled in the net of Moha and Māyā. Think deeply, deep in your heart. Go and seek shelter with Gurudev. He will explain to you the secret of the mantra. When you repeat it consciously, always, then you will cross the ocean of ignorance. My Gurudev Śrī Devapurījī gave me his holy darśan. Swami Deep is the God of service. My Gurudev Śrī Devapurījī gave me his darśan. Swami Deep is a servant of God. Please take me with you to the internal world. I will leave. The clothes of vairāgya, I don’t like them. I also don’t like the norms and thinking of men. In that world, there is no birth nor death. There is not even a glimpse of karma. There, I will become a Jīvan Mukta, and I will be in bliss forever. There, there is no moon, no sun, and no stars, but still there is endless light. There is no form, no color, just internal, indescribable eternity. This is something that is unachievable both for a king and for a beggar. In that high world live and work all saints. I bow to them deeply. There, the nectar of the guru’s wisdom flows. There, he is Lord of all gods. Swami Deep says, "I would like to be there, where there is no birth nor death," where you, my Lord, are in your true shining form. Please lead me to that world. It says, "Oh Lord," I said, "Now I leave to you the whole responsibility for my life. My success as well as my defeat is in your hands. I have one task, and that is to reach you, my Lord. And for that, I offer all my love for this world into your hands, for if I must live in this world, I want to stay pure and untouched, like a lotus flower on the surface of the lake. Oh Lord, I offer all my work and all my mistakes into your hands. Since I had to be born in this physical human form, please allow me to respect your lotus feet. And please let it be that through my service, all my work becomes success in your hands. When I am entangled in worldly things, please help me to work selflessly. And when the time of my death comes, please allow me to leave myself in your hands." There is only one difference between you and me. I am only a human, and you are the highest, Lord. I myself am in the hands of this world, in the hands of saṃsāra. However, this world is in your hands. Om Śrī Svāmī Maheśvarānanda Jī Gurudeva Kī Jai.
