The materialized OM

An address to the ashram community about the final push to complete the Omāśram temple.

"Four months will pass like the blinking of an eye."

"It is a part of our work to make it happen that this crown will now be presented to Swāmījī."

A speaker addresses the gathered residents and volunteers, emphasizing the imminent opening ceremony of the home temple. He describes the transformative energy brought by Gurudev's presence and the accelerated pace of work, urging everyone to participate and to invite skilled helpers from abroad. The talk reflects on the ashram's profound growth over decades and frames the project as a divine vision materializing for the benefit of future generations.

Dear yoga friends, as you have observed over the last days, it seems the work has progressed a lot. It is like a wind is coming up—a refreshing wind that blows away the monsoon clouds—and now the sun starts again to be stronger. This is not a symbolic act only, by Gurudev being here in the ashram. It is truly a high time to see that we get ready for the opening ceremony of our home temple, of our home āśram. So many years we were looking forward to this event, and now, basically, there are only four months left. Four months will pass like the blinking of an eye. We think, "Oh, four months, that's a lot of time," but it is, in fact, not. Time seems to run more quickly when we are busy, when we engage ourselves in activities. I can assure you, we all will be very busy in the next four months. In the last two or three days, Gurudev spent a lot of time at the Omāśram. He was supervising the work to prepare certain areas, and it makes a big difference. Just his presence there moves not only trees but even the stones, in the basic sense of the word. Swāmījī will leave after three days. He will go to Kāṭhū for a few days, and as he has already started to push the... car, a little bit, to bring the Omāśram events nearer. So he will be in Kāṭhū for three days. He has to attend some programs there, visit some old bhaktas whom he has not seen for a long time, and he has many other obligations. I am sure when he comes back, a lot of work will be done. You have seen the work of the last 10-15 years here in Jharā Āśram. When you live here, everything is very normal; you can't see big changes. But people tell me when they come after two, three, or five years, they suddenly see, "Oh, you have done this, and this has changed," and so on. Then you can really see. It is like in a family: you live in a family and grow up with it. The children grow up, and you are not very much aware of that. But if a relative comes from outside after two, three, or five years, they suddenly say, "Oh, you have grown up so much!" A similar thing is here. We will be very much looking forward to this event because it is one of Swāmījī's main visions that he put into action—to materialize the vision he had from the very beginning of his life. Some people say if you have a vision of your life, of what you want to create, sometimes it is easier, but at the same time, it is also more difficult. Because the greater the person, the taller the vision. To implement such work within such a short time is a huge achievement, something beyond a normal person's comprehension. This is a kind of divine intervention, a divine work. I am sure that after four or five months, we all who are sitting here now will be very happy and very proud of what has been achieved and what Swāmījī has created. We say a king is not a king as long as you don't put the crown on his head. And if a king puts his own crown on his head, he never can be a king. So it is a part of our work to make it happen that this crown will now be presented to Swāmījī. After that time, I know Swāmījī is never, never, never really satisfied. Even when this is completed, there are many more projects to come up, new projects. That is perhaps his nature. That is something he wants to do, what he is here for in this world. And for us, it is to be part of that—to support it, to initiate it. It does not matter in which way. It is not the question that you sit on a chair and direct, or supervise, or do this or that. That is not the point. The point is you participate, you be a part of it, you share, you give, and you support in your own capacity. When we look back 20 or 30 years, here was nothing. It was not even jungle; it was a plain area with a few trees. Now it is its own universe. The nature has changed. The microclimate has changed. The society around this area has changed. The impact on the different villages is immense—not only in the way that many people have gotten work here and could improve their life standard, their family standards, and so on. But this is one aspect; this is the material aspect. The other aspect is, as somebody said a few days ago, here is Oṁ. Aum—that is not only the sound Aum, but the Aum materialized. That is something that brings the universe here. The vibration of the universe is in this place. Whether you are aware of it or not, whether people are aware of it or not, it will influence them. A lot of things still have to be done, but I am looking forward to all of you also sharing the message with our friends in Europe or wherever they are and encouraging them to come here to help—to make this last part of the journey to complete the Omāśram effective and realizable. So please, if you know some people who can come here, who want to participate, who want to share their workforce, their capacity, their knowledge, please encourage them to come here to help and to support. It will make a big difference for all of us—for them and for all of us. If you know somebody with special skills, please invite them. There are always ways to arrange their stay; that is not the point. But we should now really work together and see the main aim, the main effort, to complete this work. Many of you know what you have to do, and many of us will now slowly know how to participate and how to contribute. But it is not only that the work is important; it is also our attitude—that we understand that whatever we move now, even a sand corn, will have its effect, as we say, cause and effect. Because sometimes to move a sand corn is much more difficult than to move a big stone. For a big stone, you may have instruments for support. But sometimes to place a sand corn from one side to another may be a big effort and a big task. We may not be aware of it, but it is. Swāmījī will go, as I said, to Kāṭhū after three days, on Wednesday, and stay two or three days there. Then he will come back. What is his journey then? We do not know; perhaps he also does not know. But for us, him being in Kāṭhū is also him being here. That makes not much difference, because his heart is here, his mind is here. And we should know that we are not alone, we are not working alone, we are not working only for us, but we are working all together under his guidance. Such a beauty, such a great work, with the help of you all. Many generations will be very happy about it. They will get spiritual uplifting. There will be a lot of Buddhas there. There is a huge and magnificent Śiva Mandir, which does not exist anywhere else in the world. All these things are not by chance. It is a present of Viśva Gurujī to this world, to all of us, and to all of humanity—for all humans to come nearer to God, to develop themselves, and to know themselves; to understand God, to realize, and in the final stage to be one with Him. As our Satguru Madhvanājī, Swami Madhvanājī, said: "All in one and one in all." This vision will come true, and this vision, I am sure, is the vision of the future. Because this area will never be completed. It is like the universe. If you think of the universe, it is always in change, always coming and going, changing all the time. And it is a place where there is a lot of space, where everybody is welcome, where everybody has a place, and where everybody can dedicate his life and his work in the sense of the ashram—to be welcome, to work on oneself socially, spiritually, mentally. In this sense, thank you very much for listening, and I hope we can implement these words. We will see in the next days how it will be, because everybody brings here a new challenge. Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān. Now Mahārājī has given me everything very nicely, and you know, he is that, he is that, he is very pure. And could, and in like this, no, will drawn like this, or this one like this, or like this. And wherever he is now going, he is bringing something so that we have programmed this and this and that. So this is what we have to do, and his Yogājī, he... It is giving us very much for us, and he also, and when we go up into that, there everything, it is not, not, how do you say that? We can't do, we will do, we do it very much. That is a very, so there is a three, four point in the ashram here and there. We have to see everything, and first is that on the top. It is given in this, and I hope that where is one, I came here that with this and that, I'm still there so that we can give, please, inside there. After that, what we have there, the water, and then the, what we call, the drink, and then that is. One of you know that how many this is, that our ashram there inside there? So we have very nice, that whole world and whole India all about that what we are. And we have given to everybody this, how many years and where, where has God given one, one, that, what you call that, many, many in the ashram for us. And so there it is, all how it is going and how many, and that we see in our āśram there. So there are five things, five things that we have to bring exactly, very great. It doesn't matter, night and day and night you should work, but bring this like this, yes. Not do something, this is many. Then, my heart will be gone. I will slide. I know that, and so bring our people from our countries, our other countries. Call everybody, those who—and then we go. We will not bring that, not like this, no. They will be very happy, and they will come, and they didn't do. So, I want to have now at least 20 people should come. 100? Yes, door here for us Indian. Here, Indians, Indians, they are only. Have many people, they are sitting there, here, you know? They are my people, my disciples, and this, my. And they are, anytime I can tell you, "Come, go, come, come, come." All they are very good. Otherwise, there is a, "Yes, yes, that will happen." But we let now come from all countries and work now for us. Okay? Yes? Yes, please. So this I have to, I am tomorrow, and then I'm going. So, please, all give me many things in the ashram, anything that my mind is like this, all. Give every people everything always, okay? Yes? Yeah, no? So, either, either... and you know that many people, I don't know, but many people that make everything very good, and very good, and very... so we have to come very much and like this. Okay? So, please, you can call our people here, let them work, and if someone has no money, then no, don't worry, come, we will give you eating and work for us, yes, okay? And this one is my disciple, you know, so it is more like he's going to become a sannyāsī, they go, how much? He's a very, very much. You know very much, very good. You know how many years here? How many years he here? 11 years. And his family, his father's bank, his sisters, and all, they are for me. Everywhere in Australia, Australia, Germany. In Germany, very, very much. So, of course, I don't want him to go to marriage with girls. Yeah, no problem. But I want those proper girls, yeah? No, they're not like this and then that. So I will not tell you to become a sannyāsī, okay? But he will know something. Thank you. Adio. And you can have bhajan, three bhajans, and then you can go. I go in, okay? Thank you very much. So, two days more, I'm very much worth working here, this and that.
