Building the Ashram

This is our ashram, a place of being and bliss. We are all here together, sitting with sādhus and yogīs, and it is very good. The essence must be in our body. An ashram is our home. Understanding comes from above, from God to mother to human. It arrives directly, like from Akkar to Nābhi. Even a mother may not know how it comes, but it is our prophet. God is the only one and will become human. If humans belong to India, then all children are equal. That one will enter God, will enter the body. We must care for the human mind. We are here, and we will do the work. In construction, one must think about how people feel inside. A building is not just a roof; it should be pleasant. The best materials are natural, like wood and straw, which support humans. Materials modified by humans, like bricks and lime, are good. Stones like sandstone are neutral, but granite harms the body. Modern materials like steel and concrete are dead and not healthy. We follow Vāstu Śāstra, the science of building, so the earth supports everyone living there. We use lime, not just cement, for healthier buildings. Wood is the best material and can be used for multi-story buildings and large halls.

"This is our ashram; this is our ashram. And when you see it, oh, it is very nice."

This is our ashram, is it not? Your Mahāmaṇḍalī Swāmījī, yes, he, and the other one, no. Look, we are all very nice and beautiful. This is very nice. You see, this is what you have to take, you have to give, you have to be in bliss. So, we are all in our ashram; this is our ashram. And when you see it, oh, it is very nice. Do you understand me? The whole thing, how nice is it? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine serve very nicely, not wanting to get in, so that even this cannot be nice here, then what can we humans do, yeah? And today is the... what is that today? And this is for all, yes. Okay, very good. So that every year you will be the same day, yeah? Very good, yes, very good. And I will tell you tomorrow, and we will tell what we are making, what it is. This, when we are this and this and this, then he said, "What is India? India..." So it is, it has to be in our body, and our body as it is, is very good for what? And where is there good, and where is not good, and this and that. But when people come and then they meet. Come here, here, sitting with sādhus or anybody or any yogīs or boys, we are here. And we are sitting very good, and this, oh, oh, very good man or good woman. Or they are very good here, and they are healing. They are very good here, and they are healing. And then when it goes into our, what do you call it, into our home? What do you call a home? Sādhu. Bālā says, "Our home." What? Ashram. So ashram comes, ashram. So, what is the ashram? You tell all you people. So that’s why our children, our children. And you know that you don’t know her husband, he don’t know, but he is, what do you call, a woman and not her. So she comes in one trinity, and she goes from there to where? From above to God. She will come down, but how will she come? So on that. He cannot understand, but there is something, but he does not know. And as soon as from there, from above, from the water, coming up to the mother, to the mother, to the human, he comes. And how is he? This is it, this is it, and in it, there is this and that. In it, as soon as I did it, I don’t know what it is. And after a few days, that girl will tell me, "I am with more, my, yeah." And when it is about ten, or how many months? Then it is said, yes, what has happened in it, and where will it come from? You know, I also know, mother knows, uncle knows, the goat knows too. But where does it come from? It comes directly from where? From Akkar to Nābhi. This is Nābhi, isn’t it? How will he go from here and come back to this place? This is what happened here one year ago. And if he didn’t come at the right time, then he left. And if something like this happens, then that child or that bird or whatever, it happens that it will happen like this. God, this is going on, that is going to happen. Poor Tabar, if something like this happens, then what happens? To him, then he will say, "Mine." Now, in that, even his mother does not know, but she has come to him. And what has come, how it has come, is absolutely our prophet, isn’t it? This is it, right? This. And his mother immediately gets to know that this is happening. And while doing this, he says, then he says to his mother, he says to his mother, he says, "Okay, I am a father. Will I have a child? Or what?" He says, "It will happen, it is God. You know it. And I will tell you too." But I have made it. How did you make it that you didn’t know about it? You gave it to him, didn’t you? But he threw it from there. As soon as he threw it from there, then you know that there is a father, there is a sister, so ek āpke patī kā jo kām aur kaisā hai, To wo uske rang, wo waisa bhi hai. Maa hai, wo bhi aisi hai, mol, jo wo mā kā jāḍā hai. To kis kyā jāḍā ko milā hai? Ab dekh lo ki koi dusra ādmī ho gayā thā, wo dusrī se liyā. To wo dikhāyā gayā ke merā, betā to merā āyā hai, but we don’t know, and when we have, then in reality it happens. First class we are there, now we are here. All we are, all human, OK? But how was this all? And God, how does God come? He will take him and sit, and he will do. And in him, so whatever he brings in the future, and what will happen in that time, then no one should come to help the animal. We had only one mother, and my father was going to help my mother. Now, while doing this and that, what will he do? What will he do in the future? What will he do? Now, many people get the opinion that we say, "He will kill the animal, he will kill the goat, the buffalo, the cow, the other," he will do all this, right? And he is that being, that being, and he is the being, the goat, the dirty goat. Now, how did it become known in India that one of the birds is the other one, the one who comes to take the egg? The one who takes is the one who is in the bird, isn’t it? He also comes into it. As soon as he comes into it, he is in it. And if he stays like this, then he will walk like this. He will make him go ahead. So now his cattle, cow, goat, any one of them, his tongue, he is in his possession. So he ate our cattle, so he went into our body. His goat has come into us. The dog has gone. He has become. And if a human being, a human being should be a human being, and the other animals are also there, but if they are there, they will go into it. Now it will come, it will go, now it will come. And Bapujī said, Madhavānanjī Bapujī said, he said, that everything is there, it comes inside, that is there, that is there, but Bapujī, Madhavānanjī Bapujī said, "Son, now how many animals are there, and how many are there, like if we go into the water, there is..." A lot of water, there are many animals. Are they inside or not? Do you understand? There is a very big ocean in the middle of the sea. So, in the end, of the ocean, there are more of them than us. They come and go. That water is not like Kharab, but it is. And from there, there are animals in it. Some animals come and go. You see me, myself. How many of these things are there? So then our human being, our human being, this is of the earth, isn’t it? There is a lot in this too, but that water is the other, the sea. The sea, in that, more than our body, it is the mother. And in that, he comes, goes, stays, kills them, people take him, kill him, eat him, he does this, he does that, but later on, walking, walking,... God again said, "I will make you a human." God said that there is only one God, and He is the only one, and He will become a human at that time, and He will become the sun. But when he goes in there, he will come and serve food, then he will leave suddenly. He will go, he will dig up the grass from time to time. Someone will tell him about the goat; he will come back and bring it back. God has said that God is He, and He will remain as He is, and He will be as He is, and He will go ahead. If humans belong to India, to all of us, then your son and that other one, his daughter or son, they are not of humans, they are both equal. And that one will go and enter God, will enter the body. And as it is said, that it is absolutely good, it has water. We cannot take such water; it comes. So we are there. But then what happens is that as soon as it is taken, that water becomes high. You know, you know better than me, that water does not go up. And in that, he goes to, what do you call it, the Air Force; he is also on top of the Air Force. Yes, so he doesn’t seem to know. He doesn’t know. He doesn’t... know. It is not even close to Andhra Pradesh. And if you look at it, it is just there. He looks at it and writes it in his notebook for this. So the ocean will come, so it will remain in the ocean. And what do they call it up there? Cloud. Cloud is what it is. So now it is going on. We will go to Hawaizh in the future, but we have so much that even they do not know about it. It is very beautiful, full of lights, green, everything like this. We want to take it as it is, that it is completely clean. There is nothing in it, there is nothing in it. It is just us; all of us are here. And when it comes inside, it comes back inside, it comes down. As soon as it comes, it is back inside, it is gone. It is the same. And when we took it, it came down here. And the one who did not go there, when he was inside, he came out immediately. He does not come down again. It seems that he goes here and there. So that is why Manuṣya Manuṣya, He makes him look like a human being. And if we go, otherwise the food, nor does it have to go into the body. But it will go. Actually, there is water there. So if we come down, then our beloved water has come to us. And if we take out the garbage like this, then it will become something else. That is why we have to take care of the human being, the human mind. That mind, the mind that is in it, how good it is or how sour it is. Similarly, you all are coming, you all have come, and you have done this. And whatever you have done, if you have done this while doing it, if you have done this while doing it, then you will say, "Oh, I will also do it. What should I do?" So we will do it. If we have come, we have done it, then we will do it. Will bathe, will bathe,... will bathe,... will bathe. It is not good for our things in that. So now he is with us. Look up here. Look from here. Look at him. Where did he go? He did our work in the Āyān Āśram. So now look at our place. He is taking it there; he is taking it very high up. In this, who is he? He is our guard, he is working, he is all of us. After doing this, he took it very high up. And after going there, he liked it very much and gave it a good hold. And from there to here and there, and then it goes down from there. But it only happens once from there. This is the one, right? This is the one. This is the one from there. He has put it there. Explain it like this. If I don’t complete it, then I will tell Mahārāj Jī. Look, this is coming. So you can take something carefully. More me, I don’t know what, but you tell me, yeah. Gurudev Swami Mishranji entering the construction area, so he was talking how we made this hall and how it is not simple to make such a building. First idea was to make the jupa or Bhaktisāgar without pillar in the middle and only with the bamboos. And that was not successful, so we had to emergency support the pillar and the roof with the pillars, but later we made a completely new structure, and we made these beams, which are steel trusses. They’re called steel trusses. They’re coming to one point, that all load which comes on this from this roof, which is quite heavy, you see, this is the grass, or actually straw. The straw roof is one of the best roofs which exist on this planet, if it is done properly, such a... The roof will last more than 100 years without any problem, but that knowledge is slowly, slowly disappearing. Still, we have some good workers here who know how to do the work, and we made this roof, which is leak-proof, meaning it’s not raining inside. At the same time, you feel it is now warm in the summer, not hot; it is a nice temperature. So in the beginning, on the top, there was one smaller roof. Out of this, on this roof, was one roof more. That hot air was going up and... Through those holes, out, and I think it is still working, is there, but we rebuilt this roof about ten years back, or eight years back. We made it a little bit stronger, so thicker, so we don’t see that ventilation anymore, but it is still there. Is working, so to make the building, one needs to think about a few things. One is how people will feel inside. A building is not just the roof that is protecting us against the rain, snow, cold wind, or heat. Hot sun, but it should be pleasant inside when we are talking about the materials out of which we are making the constructions nowadays. There are materials which are okay if I’m going in this direction. So, when we are talking about materials, the best materials... Which are actually supporting the humans who are living there. There are materials which are given by the nature and natural materials. We know in India it is great science, is called Vāstu Śāstra, science of the building, constructing the houses. And the area where we are living, so those who are following Vāstu Śāstra, it means that the earth, which is a living entity, will support everyone who is living there. It means good health, good relations, good financial status, peace in the house, and so on and so on. Similarly, we are also working on materials. Out of which the building is made, the best material is the wood. And you see here we have some wood. Into that wood, we can also put the straw or the grass or something like this. Material which is growing, so that materials are supporting the humans, are supporting the body, and in such materials, in such a building, one will feel very well, very nice, very comfortable, a pleasant feeling, and will be healthy. And then the materials which are modified by the humans, means bricks, classically made bricks, which are baked at low temperatures, are good. The bricks which are fired are also okay, and the lime for the joining of material, lime bases the mud, and after that is lime. Now we come to the materials which are neutral. There are stones, let’s say sandstone, then the marble. Granite is harming the human body, so don’t put granite in the houses, in the living room. Because it will harm the body. And then, of course, we start with the materials which went through the high-firing process, meaning steel, concrete, cement, and so on. So dead materials are not healthy, and we found in the Western countries that in many, many buildings which are made of the modern materials, people are getting different illnesses. It is science only about materials out of which buildings are made. So in Jadan, we tried to follow Vāstu Śāstra as much as we could. Om Ashram itself is absolutely made as per Vāstu, because Om itself is Vāstu. And we tried to use materials, though in this area they are, for example, making plasters of the mortars, this, how they call it in English, screed, or not screed, but renderer, something rendering, no? They make only of the cement in Europe; we are using lime, no? Also, for the masonry work, we are using lime as much as possible. That means the building will be healthier than a building which is made only of concrete or made of cement blocks with cement mortar. So, Bābājī, a little about construction. Very good. Welcome. Thank you very much. Śrīdhar Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān Kī Jai. Gurudev Svāmī Maheśvarānandjī Bhagavān Kī Jai. Yes, and there is my ashram. In my ashram, there is, it is like this, like this. Yeah, yes, yeah, actually, the best material to build a building is wood. Nowadays, you have the halls with a span of 60, 70 meters or more without the pillars, just in the wood, and you can do any, any shape you want, the straight, uh, rectangular, or round. Or oval or waving, that can be done in wood with certain adjustments of the wood. Yes, we can do very, very good things. And there the people say now that, "Okay, I give you this all, and then we will get him." So we can make, so for you, and we can make many, many like this. You understand me? Yeah. Yeah? Yes. So now, still, there is a beautiful, nice, very nice. We think that we cannot make multi-story buildings with wood. Yes, we can, easily multi-story, two, three floors with wood, no problem. And you see the best people, there are two. You see that both, yes, he is an architect, a high-level architect, much higher than myself. Yes, that’s it. Thank you.
