Awakening Through the Guru's Grace

Awakening requires recognizing the fleeting nature of life and surrendering to the Guru's grace. Time passes swiftly, and at death, all possessions and companions are left behind; one departs alone. The profound suffering in life can be a fortunate catalyst, driving the search for a truth beyond worldly existence. Finding the Satguru provides the means to cross the ocean of ignorance and break the cycle of rebirth. Complete honesty with oneself is essential, as hiding painful experiences blocks energy and prevents purity. The practice of mantra, given by the Guru, provides the strength to overcome all obstacles. This devotion to the Guru is ultimately devotion to one's own true Self.

"Wake up, your time is passing, and your Guru Dev is telling you what is important."

"Don’t hide. Even not before, in front of yourself, inside."

Now the next bhajan will be "Chetā Chetā, Abhā Jīva Agyānī." Holi Gurujī was presenting this bhajan, and he says again to us, "Wake up, your time is passing, and your Guru Dev is telling you what is important." So wake up. Again, this possession that we have, everything that we have—when we are dying, nothing will go with us. And also, nobody can hold our hands or accompany us. Nobody can go with us. We are going alone. As we were coming, and then maybe we are looking from the astral level down, we see that the others are quarreling about what you left behind. And yes, we have this luck. We came to the Satguru, and we found him. And he can bring us, he can let us cross this world of ignorance. Otherwise, we will come again, go, come again, and go. And maybe it is like this. When we have a normal life with not so many problems, then there is not this need to change something. But I say sometimes when we really need to change our life, because we are suffering so much—maybe in a relationship, maybe at work, with some illness, whatever—when it is really, really strong, maybe we have this luck that we really get such a bad time that we search for something more than what is going on. And Mahāprabhujī, he was awakening the soul, his soul, Holy Gurujī’s soul, he said. He was awakening him, and it was also that I gave everything to him. I was not hiding anything, and this I was also thinking we have to do. For our self also, because the Guru is in me also, it is my self. And also, when I am practicing, there are some parts in me which are unpleasant to touch, because the situations were heavy, and I was full of pain and suffering. Maybe it was a long time ago, but it is still in me. And somehow, some circumstances touch this. And I try to hide, to escape from that, but this will still remain in me. It will be as information in my system, and it will block my energies. Then I cannot be pure. So don’t hide, no? Don’t hide. Even not before, in front of yourself, inside. We should be, and we will be, strong when we are repeating our mantra. Everybody among us knows. The mantra gives us so much strength that we can overcome everything. So it is all connected, one thing with the other. And as Gurujī, our Gurujī, Vishwagurujī gave us this system, it is always that. One goes into the other. And when we are using it, we will overcome. Yes, and this devotion to our Guru Dev is also devotion inside to us. Now the next bhajan will be "Ho Guru Sukadāma Swāmī." My Guru is the Master. He is the source of the bliss. He is the source of the world. He is eternal joy and darśan. He is giving this divine energy. You are liberating me, and you only are the doer. You are the creator of the universe, and you are Śiva. No limitations. You will destroy the three tapas, all these disturbances from the material world, from all levels. The Vedas, the scriptures, name you indescribable. You keep, you protect, and you liberate the world. To you, I offer my whole being. This was a bhajan from Lalanandjī to Mahāprabhujī. We are so happy that we are in this divine source. Ho Guru Sukadāmā Swāmī. Next bhajan will be "Gurujī Kādamo Kī Kāk Pānā Lo Bhoje." O Gurujī, let me be the dust of your lotus feet. Give me the right words and awaken me. With the right word, again, the mantra. I know Mother and Father; they brought me to this world, and they threw me into this ocean of the world. Please, Mahāprabhujī, give me your shelter and don’t let me be here alone. Do not let it be that you are forgetting this form, my form, your creation. And please give me this self-realization: who I am, where I am coming from, and how the creation took place. Please liberate me from this cover of guṇas. All is one, the self-realized say, all is one. But it seems to be manifold; how can I understand? My mind is irritated. Please let me know. Take away my doubts. Swami Deep came to his Satguru, Devpurījī, and his consciousness merged into the divine consciousness of Devpurījī at his lotus feet.
