Welcoming the new Mahamandaleshwar

A sacred assembly celebrates the bestowal of the title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. This event is a profound honor for the district and the nation, symbolizing the spread of dharma and peace. The elevation is not a worldly achievement but a recognition of spiritual merit and dedication to the eternal path. It results from rigorous tests within the traditional akhāḍā institutions, not through material means. This title empowers the recipient to carry the light of Sanātana Dharma and scriptural knowledge from its source to distant lands. The gathering is united in joy, receiving the grace of the Guru paramparā and offering salutations.

"The great title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara bestowed at the lotus feet of Gurudev is undoubtedly a matter of pride."

"No one becomes a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara by giving money; it is through knowledge and their tests that one who protects dharma is recognized."

Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Chant the praises of Dīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān, Mādhavānand Jī Mahārāj, Śrī Meśān Jī Mahārāj, Jasrājpūr Jī Mahārāj, and Mādhavānand Jī Bābā Jī in this sacred assembly. It is the fortune of Pālī and the Pālī district, and indeed the fortune of all Rajasthan, that Bābā has also composed these verses here in India. The feet of the Gauḍas have been satisfied, and it is the good fortune of Pālī district that, by the grace of these sattvātmās, there is this hope from Paramātmā. A heartfelt welcome to all who have arrived here; please take your seats and offer your salutations with two words at the feet of Gurudev. I offer countless salutations at the feet of Hari, the embodiment of supreme love, the World Guru, the World Peace Messenger, Svāmījī Meśvarānand Jī Mahārāj. Today is a day of pride for the entire world. It is a matter of great joy that in the saint community, in the akhāḍā society, when a foreigner is welcomed for the first time with the blessings of Svāmījī Dīp Mārāyaṇa Bhagavān and the blessings of the revered Gurudev Meśvarānand Jī, as well as the warm reception of Śrī Jasrāj Jī and Āśutoṣa Jasrājpūrī Jī. I have just taken a bath with Svāmījī. And in the morning, when I reached the Gaṅgā, I received a call from Svāmījī at six o’clock, saying, "I have very good news for you." Then Svāmījī informed me that Jasrājpūrī Jī Mahārāj would be elevated to Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara today, and his abhiṣeka is taking place. The entire heart is vast for Svāmījī to be honored by foreign dignitaries. How much money has this child spent from his pocket so that his shoulders do not become even weaker? When I received this news, I told Gurudev, "With your blessings, I have three or four thousand rupees with me for this program and the child—what should I do with him?" Such is our Gurudev. Then he said, "Somewhere, water..." If it is for animals and humans, then someone please tell me. I will speak about my own village. In my region, there are at least 22 villages where Gurudev Dūra Pānī Prāṇa Bhagavān’s service to all living beings is a great goal. Keeping this goal in perspective, Śrī Gurudev has... They have undertaken many initiatives, and we too should participate in their resolutions through our mind, speech, and actions. Among us, we have Śrīmān Mevāḍā Sāhab, who has come from Sumerpur, and Harī Śaṅkar Jī Sāhab Mevāḍā, who is warmly and sincerely welcomed on behalf of the āśrama, and upon their arrival... I humbly offer my few words in the service of Gurudev, respected śrīmān. Jasrājpūrī Jī’s presence, all the bhajans, Maheśvarānand Jī’s, the lamp lit with the blessings of Bhagavān and Maheśvarānand Jī, through whose blessings Jasrājpūrī Jī received the title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara—this is not only a matter of pride for Pālī district but has become a great honor for the entire India. On top of that, it has become an additional cause for pride. This will become a symbol of peace not only throughout India but in the entire world, and it will be beneficial for the welfare of humanity. With this, Jai Hind, Jai Bhārat. Thank you, Harī Śaṅkar Jī Mewāḍā Sāhab. Most revered Gurudev Śrī Svāmījī Viśvagurū Śrī Meśvarānand Jī Mahārāj, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Śrī Jasrājpūrī Jī Mahārāj, I bow down with folded hands to all of you. Bābā Jī first blessed me with his grace when he made me a member. Long live Bhārat Mātā! Long live Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Mahārāj! Victory to Om Viśvadīp! Now I invite Śrīmān Ganeśa Jī Pālī to come forward and express the heartfelt sentiments he holds in the service of the Guru, and to receive their blessings. Śrīmān Ganeśa Jī Pālī, Śrīmān Ganeśa Jī Pālī. I have been connected for 40 years and I am fortunate to have the blessings of the most revered Mahādhavānand Jī Mahārāj. I have complete faith in Gurudev, and on this joyous occasion where Jasrājpūrī Jī has been bestowed the title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, let us all wholeheartedly offer our respects and receive the blessings of our Sadguru Dev. Words, just a few words—Respected Engineer Sāhab Rājanārāyaṇa Siṅghjī Sāhab, revered Gurudev, Svāmījī Paramānanda Meśvarānand Jī, Paramānanda Svāmījī Meśvarānand Jī, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Śrī Jagadīśa Pūrvī Jī, by the grace of Śrī Gurudev, who has bestowed upon you the authority of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you. One should strive to receive the grace of the Guru and attain the highest level of that grace. May we endure hardships, may we bear difficulties, may we cultivate endurance and strength. May we be radiant and wise, and may we not be ignorant. Om, lead me from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, from death to immortality. With this sentiment, I wholeheartedly welcome Śrī Svāmī Yogeśa Pūrī Jī on behalf of our Jāṛan Āśrama, who has graced us with his presence here to share a few words on the occasion of Svāmī Śrī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī becoming Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. Respected Yogeśa Pūrī Jī Mahārāj. And with deep reverence, Gurudev, all the devotees bow their heads in great humility. Today, there is immense glory because our Guru, Svāmījī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī Mahārāj, the great Mahāprabhujī, is present. In this world, after a long time, when we speak, there is a very beautiful garden. Inside this garden, there are many flowers—beautiful flowers like mālatī, gulāb, and many other lovely flowers. We call these flowers dharma. There are different kinds of dharma, and the king of flowers is... It is a desert, Mahāprabhujī; Bhagavān Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa, by the grace of Mahāprabhujī, brings the eternal dharma’s light and knowledge from this garden, that rose, that flower, to the desert, to foreign lands. Our revered Gurudev, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Paramahaṁsa, Śrī Meśvarānand Jī brings it abroad, and from today onward as well, our revered one... Gurubhāī, Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Svāmījī Jasrājpūrī Jī Mahārāj will also spread that dharma, that light, that knowledge, the blessings of thousands and thousands of saints. Those blessings, which have spread across the land of dharma, will be brought abroad by the gurus of Jasrāj Jī, Gurubhāī, and Svāmījī. The leaders of the community have said that we should make every effort to fully support Jasrāj Jī so that he can bring the light of the scriptures abroad. Glory to Śrīdīp Nārāyaṇa Bhagavān! Yogeśa Pūrī Jī has spoken very thoughtfully and measuredly about the āśrama. A few words are dedicated to Svāmī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī; truly, he is worthy of praise, and it is precisely because of this merit that today Svāmī Śrī Yogeśa Pūrī Jī Mahārāj is indeed counted among the ranks of great scholars. Now I invite Śrī Pālīse Paḍāre, the Kavirāj Mahāre Sukhasiṁha Jī Rājpurohit, who, by his presence, deeply touches the hearts of the listeners and conveys this matter with great subtlety. Śrī Kavirāj Sukhasiṁha Jī Rājpurohit, please. A wave of joy has spread, and a divine play will unfold in India because Jasrāj Pūrī Jī has become Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. The sky is blue, the ocean is blue, and blessed are the mother and father who have given India a brother like Jasrāj Jī Pūrī, who has become Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, the newly appointed Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara, Śrī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī. He will be able to preserve what our Param Sadgurudev Meśvarānand Jī Mahārāj recognized in childhood—that this is not merely a testament to Bhārat Mātā but a proof for the entire world, which gives a new dimension to Indian culture and Indian progress. The great title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara bestowed at the lotus feet of Gurudev is undoubtedly a matter of pride not only for Jādon Pālī, Rajasthan but for all the Gauḍas across India, that the personality of Jasrājpūrī Jī, who is always recognized as a karmavīra, firmly believes in the path of action. They speak little but act greatly—a truly silver silence, this golden personality. I certainly extend my best wishes that the entire nation of India is blessed, where for the first time a foreign lady has received the title of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. This is a tribute to Mādhavānand Jī Mahārāj and Meśvarānand Jī Mahārāj. India was given a gift, and with this gift, the entire India is victorious. Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Pūrī Jī, in this way, our Jasrājpūrī Jī is also a great knower of the Gītā. You have contrasted many chapters of the Gītā, and you have also rendered the Gītā in a radiant manner, along with Sadguru Dev’s... They have always been advancing the supreme tradition of upakarma. Sanskrit and Hindi terms include yoga, prāṇa, kuṇḍalinī, ātmā, Bhagavān, śakti, kuṇḍalinī, ātmā, Bhagavān, śakti, kīrtana, om, namaste, praṇāma, śakti... The creator of the infinite cosmos, the sustainer of creation, the supreme father Paramātmā who dwells in every particle, the world’s sovereign, the revered Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī, the revered Satguru, the emperor of Indudharma, Svāmījī Mādhavānand Pūrī Jī Mahārāj. Beloved devotees of dharma, this auspicious day you have witnessed is the supreme grace of Gurudev. Our seat of paramparā has been continuing since time immemorial. Oh children, you will get sweets, but do not speak; this is prasāda, just stop for the children. In the Mahāśiva Purāṇa, there is a special mention and glorification of Alakha Purī Jī Mahādeva, meaning that at the time when Bhagavān Śiva Śveta Bhava manifested in the Śakti Yuga, among the great ṛṣis, there appeared a great avatārī known as Alakha Purī Jī Mahādeva. The dhūnī of Alakha Purī Jī, the cave of Alakha Purī Jī, were obtained by us after much purification. It is between Kedāranāth and Badrināth, take the bike to Toṛā, take the bike to Toṛā. At the time when the Pāṇḍavas ascended to heaven... Are you heading towards the truth? The path of truth is called Satopāṭha. If you walk on Satopāṭha, you will have the darśana of Alakha Purī Jī, and it is by the āśīrvāda of Alakha Purī Jī that Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira was able to reach Svarga. So, the very path that Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira took—on that path... Even today, it is called Satopāṭha, and there is a Sarasvatīdhārā there, meaning thousands of streams of water. It is said that Śiva, Brahmā, and Viṣṇu used to reside there peacefully. That is why Kedārnāth and Badrināth are the very places where Viṣṇu, Śiva, and Brahmājī also dwell. Brahma is the lotus, Brahma is also the pond. They are distinct. Pūrījī Mahādeva, from our lineage, our tradition has been continuing through our seat. There is even a village named after that great soul, a separate town called that, and a river flows from there. That river’s name is different—Nandā. From the east comes the Bhāgīrathī, and from here flows the distinct Nandā. When both come together, their confluence occurs, and it is called the Gaṅgā. First is the Pañcāyatī Śrī Śambhu Aṭala Akhāḍā. Our tradition was connected with the Śrī Pañcāyatī Śambhu Aṭala Akhāḍā, and under the same institution and the same Akhāḍā, our Svāmījī Jasrājpūrī Jī was... Om Śrī Śambhu, from the Pañcāyatī Śrī Śambhu Aṭala Akhāḍā, he has been appointed as Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. Our Mahānirvāṇī Akhāḍā, which has existed since the time of Bhagavān Kapila Munī, has Bhagavān Kapila Munī as the deity of our Akhāḍā, and the Śambhu Aṭala Akhāḍā has Gaṇeśa Jī Mahārāj, Bhagavān Gaṇeśa. Yes, Gajānana Jī Mahārāj, there are only two akhāḍās: the Mahānirvāṇī Akhāḍā and the San Ācārya Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. We have one, Viśvadevānand Jī Mahārāj, and another, Śukadevānand Giri Jī Mahārāj. We also have the Pañca Parameśvara, the Śrīmanta, the Pañca, the Adhyakṣa, the Sacī; the akhāḍā is organized with this structure. They all sit together and decide whether this person, this saint, this great soul whom we are making, is worthy or not. After all this, they made the decision and whispered in my ear that Mahārāj Jī, your disciple Svāmījī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī... We wish to be blessed by the lotus feet of Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. It is not that someone can simply go out and make me a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. There are many tests, and some people fall asleep, thinking they can become one by giving money. No one becomes a Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara by giving money; it is through knowledge and their tests that one who protects dharma is recognized. Sanātana Dharma is eternal. Our Svāmījī Yogeśa Pūrī has beautifully said that in a garden there are different flowers, different colors, different fragrances, but the source of all of them is Sanātana Dharma. When Devapurī Jī was wandering in the depths of the Himalayas, meditating there, it was the same place of different Purīs. Near the cave is the Devapurī Jī cave, where it is inscribed "Śrī Devapurī Jī Mahārāj Cave," and you know that Devapurī is Aṭaśaṁbhu Akhāḍā Devapurī Jī. After that, there is our revered Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī, because of the entire gādhī paramparā. And in our western region, the influence of the Jūna Akhāḍā is stronger, which is why Mahāprabhujī declared that we also belong to the Jūna Akhāḍā. Our maṇḍala is ours, and our akhāḍā is ours. These traditions come together only when they unite; otherwise, they do not come together like this. So, our maṇḍala is Sahajāvata, and our kuladevī is Kāmākṣā Devī. Our family deity is Hiṅglāj Mātā, and after all this, it brings us great joy and peace that it is by the supreme grace of Bhagavān Dīp Nārāyaṇa Mahāprabhujī Devājī, Deva Svayambhū Deveśvara Mahādeva, and the highest grace of the revered feet of the Sadguru Dev. Now, my disciples, your guru brother Śrī Śrī Ek Hazār Āṭh Śrī Pūjya Pāda Svāmī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī Mahārāj— from today onwards, you will address him as Pūjya Pāda Ananta Śrī Vipuṣita Ek Hazār Āṭh Śrī Svāmī Jasrāj Pūrī Jī Mahārāj. Congratulations to all of you for sitting here since morning. Many children are hungry, and those of you who have come from far away, it is time. Many, many salutations to all of you. You must come to welcome Jasrājpūrī Jī Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara and Jasrājpūrī Jī, but do not come without wearing a garland. Listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn daily at the Bāṭa Āśrama, listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn daily at the Bāṭa Āśrama, listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn daily at the Bāṭa Āśrama, listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn daily at the Bāṭa Āśrama, listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn daily at the Bāṭa Āśrama, listen to the pāpaharṣaṇa hymn.
