Santosha
Our life is unsettled, a wandering search. True peace, santoṣa, arises from inner settlement, not external pursuits. We exist in pravṛtti, a state of endless doing and fragmentation, divided by relationships and roles into countless pieces. Life's pressures and disappointments wound us, hammering us without yielding development. We hide behind masks of false contentment. The path from fragmentation to wholeness requires turning inward. Through svādhyāya (self-study), manana (reflection), and bhāṣā (discourse), we must seek to feel complete. Judge your own face in the mirror; the face of one with santoṣa is distinctly different. We need this genuine peace.
"As many relations as you have, into that many parts you are divided."
"One who has santoṣa has quite a different face."
