About Daya
Compassion is the root of virtue; ego is the root of sin. When mercy is absent, the tree of spirituality falls. Even animals possess some mercy, acting only from necessity, while humans often act beyond it. The highest principle is non-violence, which is compassion in action. Do not abandon compassion while you live. All beings seek happiness, but find only disappointment in worldly pursuits. True joy is found only in God, our origin. Just as a stone returns to earth, our inner self seeks its source in God. Until we find this reality, we suffer from restlessness and dissatisfaction. Find satisfaction within through mercy and forgiveness.
"Don't give up your mercy as long as you have life in your heart."
"Only God is the ultimate truth and the joy, and the joy we are longing for is a part of God."
