Life and realization
Life is a precious dream from which we must awaken to know our true Self.
The individual self journeys endlessly through time and experience, caught in the world of the five elements. This mortal existence is like a dream, but we do not know when we will wake. In a dream, we see and feel a world that vanishes upon waking. That world is not reality, nor is this world reality. Reality is the Self that witnesses the dream. The immortal Ātmā cannot be cut, burned, or destroyed by death; it is like the sky. Liberation comes from Self-knowledge, answering "Who am I?" The great tragedy is to die without this knowledge. It is not gained through medicine or isolated physical practices, but by following the complete spiritual path culminating in meditation, all requiring grace.
"No weapon can kill that Ātmā. No fire can burn that Ātmā. Death cannot take away that Ātmā."
"Who am I? From where do I come? What is the purpose of my coming here? And where will I go?"
