In the Earth dialogue held in Lyon, France, it was said that if we continue to destroy and pollute this planet, our seventh generation will have nothing to drink. I do not know if the sheep in New Zealand behave this way, but Indian sheep certainly do. If you can make one saṅkalpa, one resolution, say from today onwards: "I will not use plastic things." This is a very small thing. When you go shopping, take a basket or a textile bag, a cotton bag. If you do not have cotton bags, the Yoga Society will supply them for you. They have beautiful cotton bags printed with "Yoga in Daily Life"—this is good advertising and also does good. Do not buy anything that you will throw away, like cups, plates, and spoons made of plastic. We think this is a very little thing, but it is not little; it is very big. Buy or make yourself one cotton bag and write on it: "Say no to plastic." I was in India on one of the islands, called the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is very, very clean and nice. At the airport when you arrive, there is a very large sign that reads: "Say no to plastic, please don't bring plastic." So let us begin. If you write any letter, write on the back where you put your address, and below it write: "Say no to plastic." If you send someone an email, write: "Say no to plastic." Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, wherever you can, make a sticker and say: "Say no to plastic." This is how we will awaken consciousness in people.
