Renounce and Enjoy
To enjoy life, one must renounce, not just physically but in feeling. True renunciation, or tyāga, is a gate to liberation alongside endurance and meditation. Within this creation, we are not free from pain and ignorance; renunciation is our necessary practice. This includes sharing, as the greatest sacrifices are of knowledge and of offering sustenance to all, which becomes a blessed prasād. The communal bread shared is such a blessing. We should practice tyāga for others, willing to bear suffering ourselves. Human life is an invaluable, non-transferable jewel granted only once, fleeting like morning dew. We must offer all our actions and take a new vow for spiritual practice.
"Enter the kingdom of the Lord through the gate of sacrifice—tyāga."
"This human life is called amūlya ratna—a jewel or a precious stone which you cannot price."
