Climate changes

A spiritual discourse on the harmony of natural elements and divinity.

"Life cannot exist on this planet anymore if there is no fire element. Life cannot exist on this planet if there is no water element."

"The balancing principle is what I always call yoga. That is the very beginning, the origin. Disharmony means destruction."

The speaker explains that yoga is the principle of balance among the fundamental elements—fire, water, and air. Using the example of the melting Shiva Lingam at Amarnath as a sign of climate imbalance, he argues that this disharmony causes illness and destruction. He calls for strict global laws to protect nature, equates the essential elements to God's presence, and concludes that recognizing the one divine power in all is the only path forward, returning to the wisdom of the sages.

Let us say one element is the fire element. Life cannot exist on this planet anymore if there is no fire element. Life cannot exist on this planet if there is no water element. Also, life cannot exist anymore if there is no air element. In all this, there should be harmony and balance. This balancing principle is what I always call yoga. That is the very beginning, the origin. Disharmony means destruction. It means illnesses. It means quarreling. So in the elements, there should be harmony. The problem we have now is Earth warming. Earth warming is one of the biggest problems. The Himalayas, which are big mountains and very high, have a mountain called Amarnath. Amarnath means immortal. Nātha is God, the giver, the protector—a name of Śiva. On the peak of the mountain, there is a cave in the form of a temple. There is snow, and a Śiva Liṅga is formed naturally from the snow. For only three weeks or one month, people can come there, and then again everything is covered with ice and snow. In history, for the first time in these last days, it is said that the Śiva Liṅgam melted. This is not good news; these are changes in the climate. It means the elements are becoming imbalanced. Such climate changes are altering the human mental climates, and everything has changed through these human mental climates. It affects our everyday life, our health, and God knows what will happen to this planet. What kind of destruction will take place? I think it is high time for the whole world to make some very strict laws, stricter than drug laws. When you deal with drugs, it's a crime. At Singapore airport, before immigration, it is written: if drugs are found, you will be immediately crucified—a death sentence without any negotiation, no lawyers, nothing. Like this, some strict rules have to be made in the world to protect nature, the trees, and animals. It is very, very sad how the climate is changing and how life is affected. New illnesses are coming. The ṛṣis already said what could or will happen. So yoga means the balance, to create the balance. In this way, we understand: if we cannot live without water, then water is for us like God. We cannot live without God. So what can be more than water? God. God Himself is in the water. That is very important to know. Therefore, it is said everything is holy. As long as humans believed that water is holy, they didn't pollute the water. But as soon as this modern education came and man became selfish and didn't respect nature, we began polluting the water. In every religion, water is holy. You enter the church, there is holy water, what we call Caraṇāmṛta. So this concept comes from Caraṇāmṛta. Water, air—all are very important. Now, what is in them is the Śakti, that is God Himself. So the ṛṣis are trying to indicate or explain to us indirectly that this energy, this power which you have, is not yours, and you are not even made. It is someone else's. This microphone, the loudspeaker, the tape recorder, this video camera, and this ventilator—all are functioning only because of the electricity. If the power goes off, all these instruments will stop functioning. So we have to understand that power. That is God, the Almighty One. That's the only One, and that One is in all, and all in One. We have to accept this: that yes, in every culture, every tradition, and religion, we are talking about the same God. Then why do we fight? For what do we fight? To destroy ourselves, to destroy our future generations, and to destroy the planet. Therefore, we have to come again back to the Ṛṣi Kula, the Ṛṣi Yuga—the time of the ṛṣis. There is no other way. Sooner or later, we have to come there. Recording location: Czech Republic, Strilky, Summer seminar
