All Should Be Happy - Let's Make Peace

True education must encompass the whole human being, not just worldly knowledge.

Current education and society are governed by money, which causes conflict and a loss of humanity. All religions speak of peace, but reality shows fighting. We are born innocent, but worldly education shapes us; spiritual education is rare. Obtaining a human birth is rare, and having spiritual parents or innate spiritual tendencies is rarer still. Those with spiritual guidance are blessed to realize divine consciousness. The key difference from animals is that humans have forgotten natural law. We must return to universal consciousness and brotherhood, recognizing we are all made of the same elements. Greed creates problems, not need. Borders are created in the mind first. For world peace, we need health in all our bodies—physical, subtle, and causal—which begins with holistic education.

"Mother Earth provides enough for every man's need, but not for every man's greed."

"Health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health."

In India, we have a saying: "Gyānī se gyānī mile, kare gyān kī bāt." When the wise meet the wise, they discuss wisdom. "Kada mudrāc sretne mudracā, onda vode mudre razgovore." But when the donkey meets the donkey, "to ghumake laṭ." They kick with their back legs. So when the ignorant, the foolish ones, meet together, they fight. Is our education today, what we have around the world all the way to the universities, proper education? Or should we change something? Some people think only of economy and money. In this Kali Yuga, this dark age, this iron time, money has become God. When a billionaire comes, even the president of a country says, "Please, sir, come, come. Please, sit down." But when a poor person comes, they cannot even enter the door. This means humanity has lost its humanity. Money is governing, and that money is killing everyone. That is the reason people are fighting. Therefore, the yogī says: "Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaḥ"—may all be happy. "Śāntiḥ, śāntiḥ, śāntiḥ." Peace, peace, peace. "Mīr, mīr, mīr." Before coming to the hall, Katalin and I were sitting and talking. In Judaism, there is also a word: Shalom. It is a very old, ancient saying in Judaism: let us make peace. Every religion speaks about this. But reality has changed. It is said that if you are struck on the left cheek, offer the right cheek. But we do not offer the right cheek; we raise a hand, and there are big, big problems. So it is time to understand and receive the right education. No one was born with a stamp on the body declaring you a Hindu, a Christian, a Jew, a Muslim, or a Buddhist. We were all born as very innocent, pure human beings, as children. But then education began—worldly education. Very rare are those who receive spiritual education and spiritual freedom, who are not narrow-minded. It is said that out of 8.4 million life forms, it is very rare to obtain a human birth. And though you are born human, it is very rare to have spiritual parents who will educate you with tender love and free thinking. Even rarer and more fortunate are those who have spiritual tendencies, feelings, and interest. Because there are some who have no karma for it at all; preaching to them is like straightening a dog's tail—as long as you hold it, it is straight, but when you release it, it curls back again. So it is not easy to have spiritual tendencies. Lucky are they who have spiritual, wise friends. Blessed are they who have spiritual guidance, a spiritual master. They have the mercy of God, realize God, and attain God-consciousness. They know themselves and achieve divine consciousness. The difference between humans and animals is significant. Animals know how to eat, drink, procreate, and sleep, and they follow natural law. But humans have forgotten. So it is time to return to universal consciousness, to come to brotherhood. We are all made from the five elements. Every one of us has red blood. We all need the same oxygen. God has provided everything. Mahatma Gandhi said, "Mother Earth provides enough for every man's need, but not for every man's greed." "Allī ne deje dovoljno za pohlepu." If humans give up their greediness, many problems will be solved. Borders are created first in the human mind, and then on the landscape. That is what yogīs are trying to change. To bring world peace, we need a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a healthy intellect. One scientist said, "Health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health." So, what is the best, perfect way to good health? Which creates health through and through? We have different bodies: the physical body, mental body, astral body, intellectual body, and causal body. They are often grouped into three: the physical body, subtle body, and causal body. All should be healthy. This must begin with education. Education is very important, but it should encompass the whole system: body, mind, consciousness, and soul. All must be purified.
