Nature

A spiritual discourse on environmental harmony and human unity.

"When we become self-conscious and self-aware, we will create harmony with nature. By uniting ourselves with nature once more, we will understand both nature and ourselves."

"If we look into the holy books of every religion, what their prophet, God, incarnation, or holy man says is fundamentally the same—there is no difference. So why are we fighting?"

The speaker addresses the roots of human conflict—over culture, religion, and nationality—and calls for a return to unity with nature and each other. He uses the analogy of a chair's legs to illustrate our planet's interconnectedness, arguing that historical kings welcomed immigrants, unlike modern territorial strife. The core message is that self-awareness leads to environmental and social harmony.

There are many, many ways, dear friends, to protect our environment. When we become self-conscious and self-aware, we will create harmony with nature. By uniting ourselves with nature once more, we will understand both nature and ourselves. We will understand our neighbors and others. Yet, we see conflict within people over culture. There is fighting about religion. If we look into the holy books of every religion, what their prophet, God, incarnation, or holy man says is fundamentally the same—there is no difference. So why are we fighting? We all speak from the same divine source; why then this conflict? Thus, there is religious fighting within oneself, cultural fighting, and then fighting for the nation—for my country. "I don't want anybody to step into my territory"; this is a major source of strife. In the past, when people immigrated from one kingdom to another, the receiving king would feel proud that people were coming to accept his kingdom, country, and way of life. Conversely, the king from whose land they departed was unhappy and would try very hard to keep people there, saying, "Please don't go away. We will do everything for you that you need." We must understand others' feelings. We should not think that the whole world is only my country and that is all. Consider my chair where I am sitting; it has nice cloth and everything is very comfortable, but I do not think of the legs of the chair. If these legs break, I will fall down. Similarly, our entire earth, our planet, is one interconnected whole, and we should not divide it. Recording location: Australia, Sydney, World Peace Tour
