The sight and words of the Guru are a supreme blessing that purifies and brings peace. Every meeting and word cleanses the inner instrument and calms the three fires of suffering that burn all beings. This world is seen as a burning forest. God sent clouds of wisdom—the Guru's speech—as a nectar-rain to extinguish these fires. That sacred speech is truth itself and never fails. True understanding means to multiply its effect by applying it to every aspect of life: thinking, acting, eating, and living. Listening is not enough; one's conduct after leaving the gathering is the true measure.

It is said that however many times you behold the Satgurū Deva, it is still too little. We can never have enough of good things. For negative things, we should have no desire or appetite whatsoever—this is very important. Every instance we see our Gurudeva in this life is a blessing for us. Every look, every meeting, every word we hear is a purification, cleansing our antaḥkaraṇa—the manas, buddhi, citta, and ahaṅkāra. It also calms the three tapas, the three kinds of fires. The entire entity, the Jīvātmā, is burning within these three fires. These are called the three tapas: Ādhyātmika, Ādhidaivika, and Ādhibhautika. In your chakra book, which is available in Hungarian, Czech, and German, you can read about these three tapas in detail. This Jīvātmā, charāchara, is burning in the three tapas. This is the fire. Jagat ko jaltā dekh kar—when God saw this saṃsāra burning—Prabhu ne jñāna ghaṭā bhejī. God sent the clouds of knowledge and wisdom to extinguish those three tapas. Let us be grateful for that. That jñāna ghaṭā is santvāṇī, the words, the vāṇī, the guruvāṇī. Within Santvāṇī is this nectar. Holy Gurujī said many times in his satsaṅgs that the moon may forget, the sun may forget, but the words of the Mahāpuruṣa can never be forgotten. The sun and moon may change their will or miss their time, but the words of the saints, the holy person, the Gurū, will never change or fail. That is the satya; it will come true. When I entered, you were singing, "Bachanavālā lāgesā me jāno"—how dear to me is the bachan, the Gurū's words, the Śāntavāṇī. Fortunate are those who understand this. Now, what does it mean to understand? To understand means to multiply. What does it mean to multiply? To apply it in your life. What does it mean to apply it in life? To lead your life accordingly: your way of thinking, way of doing, way of eating, way of living. You must apply the santvākya, santvāchānta, the guruvākya. Otherwise, you might say, "Oh, the Satsaṅg was very nice; he spoke beautifully; today's words were especially nice," but if asked, "What did he speak?" you reply, "Many things, I don't remember." That means you have digested nothing. After listening to satsaṅg, everything depends on how you behave when you walk out the door.
