From the unconscious to super consciousness

Consciousness has layers, but these divisions are obstacles to oneness. We label unconscious, subconscious, conscious, superconscious, and cosmic conscious. These are like rooms created by walls within one building. Remove the walls—the dualities—and the separate rooms vanish, returning to a single, unified space. Daily, we move only between the unconscious, subconscious, and conscious states: deep sleep, dream, and waking. Through practice, one can achieve super consciousness, or samādhi. In that state, the knower, the knowledge, and the object merge into one, ending duality. If this super consciousness is attained when leaving the body, the individual consciousness merges with the cosmic. Otherwise, the journey through endless space and time, through pleasure and pain, continues indefinitely. The aim is to stop this endless journey and become one. The conscious state connects to the senses and intellect. The subconscious is a storeroom of information. The unconscious is the storeroom of destiny.

"Remove the obstacles, and they will all become one."

"When you achieve super consciousness, three will merge into one: the knower, the knowledge, and the object."

Now, I return to the topic of consciousness: the unconscious level. Consciousness exists, but it faces many obstacles. We speak of unconscious, subconscious, conscious, superconscious, and cosmic conscious. These are the five steps or layers of consciousness, distinguished by different qualities. Remove the obstacles, and they will all become one. Consider the place where we are sitting now. Once there was only water, and it was only ice. Then, slowly, the land emerged, and someone occupied this piece of ground—some thousand hectares, or thousand miles, acres, or what you call square miles. Then they divided it, and now it is about 2,000 square meters. This division is constant. Now, this 2,000 square meters contains this beautiful hall and small rooms: one is an office room, one is a kitchen, one is a toilet, one is a bathroom, one is a sleeping room, a reception hall, and a lecture hall. This single area of 2,000 square meters has now become many pieces. How did the bathroom suddenly come into being? The bathroom is there because of these walls. Walls create division; walls are the dualities. If we remove this old building, then again there will be no bathroom, toilet, 5-square-meter bathroom, 15-square-meter kitchen, 20-square-meter sleeping room, or 25-square-meter office. All these separate squares will disappear and become one. So it is with unconscious, subconscious, conscious, superconscious, and cosmic conscious. All are there. Generally, we pendulate every day between unconscious, subconscious, and conscious; that is all. Suṣupti, svapna, and jāgrat. This is literally explained as deep sleep, the dream state, and the awakened state. We, in the human body, through our practice and through blessings and through everything, can achieve the higher consciousness, super consciousness; that is all. But as soon as we achieve super consciousness—this is the aim of every yogī, called samādhi, super consciousness—a merger occurs. When you achieve super consciousness, three will merge into one: the knower, the knowledge, and the object. Three will become one. There is no duality then: no separation between knowledge, knower, and object. That is super consciousness. And when we say goodbye to this body and go out of the body, if we have achieved super consciousness, then only this individual consciousness will merge with the cosmic consciousness. Otherwise, the journey will continue. In anant, endless space, on the waves of time, you are fluttering through the endless space through darkness and light, experiencing pleasurableness and unpleasurableness, happy and unhappy. It is an endless journey, repeating. The aim is to stop this endless journey and become one; that is it. Now, the conscious awakened state is connected with the five indriyas, and that consciousness is actively connected with intellect. The subconscious is the storeroom of all our information. The unconscious level is the storeroom of our destiny: good luck or bad luck, or destiny, kismat, whatever you call it. Where is your kismat existing? Where is your destiny existing?
