Living planet & Human qualities

A spiritual discourse on humanity's role and responsibility on Earth.

"God created humans as protectors, not as destroyers." "Mother Earth has enough for everyone's needs, but not for everyone's greed."

The speaker presents a teaching on the concept of Earth as a living entity and humanity's place within it. He discusses the Hindu principle of "Vasudhaiva Kuṭumbakam" (the world is one family), critiques human behavior as destructive like an epidemic, and explores themes of karma related to meat consumption, war, and greed. The talk emphasizes discovering human qualities and values to achieve higher consciousness, concluding with the principle "One in all and all in one."

Our planet is known as a living planet. Our planet is life. The earth upon which you walk is living. Our planet is vast. Our home is very large. Our country is very large. And so it is said in Hinduism, "Vasudhaiva Kuṭumbakam." The whole world is a family of one God. Because there is only one God. It is He who is the Father. It is He who is the Creator. And He has created even this planet, all elements, all the creatures, all the vegetation; entire life is coming from Him. An individual like us walking on this earth is like a small bacterium walking on your body. And there are good bacteria and there are bad bacteria. Good bacteria protect our body, and bad bacteria are epidemics. Unfortunately, at present, humans have become like an epidemic for the earth. Humans are very dangerous bacteria for this planet. But this was not the intention of God. God's intention was not this. God created humans as protectors, not as destroyers. And therefore God said for humans also, they should not eat the animals, they should not eat meat, do not kill. At the same time, it is said, "Jīva jīva bhakṣate." The jīva will eat the jīva, life will eat life. That is called self-sustainable. So that God does not have to work again and again. That is a perfect, sustainable development. And when man will go too far in their negativity, then destiny knows how to reduce it through illnesses or some disasters, natural disasters: drought, cold, earthquake, hurricanes, floods, wars, and so on. We are all talking about world peace. You know, you cannot achieve peace with a gun. Peace was never realized after a war. War never brought peace. And therefore, to create war, to have a war in the world, is not a good idea. Because we may forgive them, but we will not forget them. Because maybe we can forgive them, but we cannot forget. That fire of revenge is boiling in the blood of humans. And that fire of revenge boils, heats the blood of people. And they are waiting for the chance. And they are waiting for the opportunity. So war is not a solution. But it is we who are against ourselves. We humans do not like humans. We humans kill humans. And that was not God's intention. In the Holy Quran it is said, if you kill one human, it means you kill the whole humanity. But who follows this? So this all becomes destiny. What you will do, that you will get. And you will do according to your quality. So what you did, that becomes your destiny. Now, our present life is according to our past good luck or bad luck, happiness or unhappiness. It is not written in someone's book somewhere in the sky, but everything is written in your kismat. Your kismat is your book. If there is a piece of paper, we can read to someone, "Look, how is my destiny?" But kismet you cannot read. If there is a piece of wood, we can break it. But that love cannot be broken. Love is love. And that is a universal love, spiritual love, that love for all, every creature. And that love still keeps our planet together. That love is the truth, and the truth is there still saving our life, saving our planet. So our planet is a living planet. When you are walking on this, you are walking on the living, on the life, and this life is here. And this life is the life of God itself. Therefore, it is not advised to kill and eat meat. You shall keep away from dead bodies. Do not touch the dead body. Do not create dead bodies, but create living bodies. Those who are eating the meat are responsible for all this karma. They are responsible for all the sufferings and wars. If you will not eat meat, they will not kill, because you are the consumer. So the butcher will get less karma than the one who is eating, and who is cultivating, or who is breeding the animals and selling them for meat. So karma is divided between two. One is breeding the animals and then selling them for cutting. And the second one is the one who is eating. The one who is killing them is innocent, like Jesus said on the cross, "Father, forgive them." Whom? The soldiers. They do not know what they do. They only do it because they are slaves. They are ordered by their boss to crucify him. Therefore, he did not say, "Father, forgive them," who ordered them to crucify him. Therefore, till now, what you have done in your life, you did out of ignorance. Now awake, realize you are a human. What does it mean to be human? What makes us human quality? So first, discover the human quality. Then make the values of the human quality. The values of the stone, but the same stones have different quality. Diamond is also a stone, and mud is also a stone. So what is the difference in price? Similarly, humans are the diamonds among creatures. So human quality, the values of human life, are more. But it does not mean that we destroy others. And it is not that you will again get a human body, but it is sure that your individual self will travel to some different forms. So maybe this all will go into the pig, which is kept somewhere and then brought to the slaughterhouse. You know inwardly who you are, but you have no power to say anything, you can't do anything except one thing: suffer, and you are the witness of the suffering, and your inner self is saying, "God, forgive me, give me again human life, and I will do everything better." So again, He gave us human life. Then we again forgot our promises which we made there, and that's why we are suffering again. Promise what you promised to God. If we cannot keep the promises we made to God, how can we keep the promises which we make to normal mortal beings, humans? Therefore, first discover the human qualities, and then make the values of the human qualities. Then you can protect the human qualities. Then you will understand what the human rights mean. As long as you do not know the human qualities and the value of the human qualities, you will not understand human rights. And when we do not understand, then we abuse that. So many things God gave us for our use, but not for our abuse. Mother Earth has enough for everyone's needs, but not for everyone's greed. This is what Gandhijī said when he saw what humans are doing here. Humans became greedy. He said, "Is it necessary that the British should come and rule India? Why do they not rule their own country? What brought them there? Their greed." It was no need, but it was greed, and when greed is there, then there are wars and suffering. Therefore, we should take care of our actions in this world. So these are 8.4 million different creatures, and they are divided into three categories: Jalchar, the creatures in the water; Thalchar, creatures on the earth; and Nabchar, creatures in the sky, in the space. And among these, we are human, to protect ourselves and protect others. Because Jīva, Jīva, Bhakṣet—their life will eat the life. Animals will eat animals. And animals do not have that knowledge that this is human and this is animal. For animals, everything is animal. They only know that humans are dangerous animals. So for them, it is very hard to hunt humans. But whenever they can, they like to hunt them to celebrate their victory, like a big shark, tigers, lions, snakes, and also small bacteria, the flu, malaria, many, many things. So we humans should be careful. We shall protect ourselves, and we shall protect others, and see that we can achieve a higher level of consciousness where we will not suffer anymore and we will not have to repeat again and again. We have to become one with that One which is one with us, that One which is one with all. And so Holy Gurujī said, "One in all and all in one." In this way, think what human life means.
