Without practice the theory is zero

The human body is a sacred instrument for liberation, yet we mistake our identity for it. Theoretical knowledge is worthless without practice, as we advise others wisely but become helpless in our own suffering. In the astral state, one perceives all but can act on nothing without the physical form. A soul then chooses its next birth from millions of possibilities, though destiny dictates the specific human life. We fervently promise to use a human body for devotion and liberation, and by divine mercy, we receive it with all past karma attached. After the arduous journey of gestation and birth, we immediately forget our promise, declaring independence from spiritual law. This arrogance returns us to darkness, squandering the precious chance for freedom.

"Theory is zero compared with a gram of practice."

"You have 8.4 million possibilities, but according to your destiny, only this life is meant for you."

Filming location: Vép, Hungary

I am not this body, but it is my body. When someone puts a knife in your body, you say, "Do you want to kill me?" We do not say, "Do you want to kill my body?" So we have mixed jñāna, mixed knowledge. Therefore, tons of theory is zero compared with a gram of practice. Our theory, our knowledge, is very great; we are all very wise experts, we are good advisors. When an unhappy boy or a man comes to you crying, "My wife left me," or, "My girlfriend left me, and I’m very unhappy," you are so wise, you are such an expert, you will tell him many good things: don’t worry, you will find someone new, or she will come back, do not depend. We are so wise to advise. But when that happens to us, then we are helpless. Why? Because we do not apply our knowledge to ourselves. And we cannot apply our knowledge to ourselves because we do not have practice and experience. So it means we have only the theory. That is because we have not practiced enough and we do not have enough experience, which means that our knowledge is mostly theoretical. And that theory is zero. So, practice, practice, practice. In the astral world, during the astral journey, you see everything. You see everyone. You hear everything. You smell everything. You see your good and bad parts, your sunny side and shadow side, but you can’t do anything. Why? Because you do not have the tools of the indriyas, the tool of the body. We don’t have this annamaya kośa; this physical body is missing. We don’t have this physical body, annamaya kośa. Then the choice comes. Now you have to go to charāsī, the 8.4 million creatures. Which do you choose? Do you want to become an elephant? Or a giraffe? Or a buffalo? Or a donkey? Or a cow? Or a monkey? Or a horse? Or a pig? Or a rabbit? Or a mouse? Or a cat? Many, many, 8.4 million choices. You have 8.4 million possibilities, but according to your destiny, only this life is meant for you. We promise God, "Lord, I promise you a million times, give me again a human body. Please, I will do my bhakti, my devotion. My jñāna, and I will, through your name or in the name of God, I will liberate. Please give me a human body. I ask you to give me a human body so that I can be liberated through the body, through Jñāna, through the divine name. Just give me a human body." God was merciful. And He granted us this body again, and now all our past karma is applied to this body. For nine months we were hanging upside down, going through the rivers of blood. We went through that river of blood, Garab Vāsa. Garbha Vāsa means the life in the mother’s womb. It is also not easy. It’s a big challenge. To be born very perfect and healthy depends on the mother’s destiny, God, and Mother Nature. So we can knock on our head that we are healthy. Thanks to God, everything is compact. So, to be born healthy and for the mother to remain healthy, that is the first mercy of God. But as soon as we were born and came out, we said, "Now I am free. I am human. I am my own decision. I humanize. I do what I want. It’s my life. I don’t believe in karma. I don’t believe in rebirth. To believe in God, what a schizophrenic idea. This must be all ill people, to believe in God. We must live in normal society, high society." And God said, "Why did you promise me? You forgot this." Again, you fell into darkness. No more choice and no more chance. We will have you back very soon. Wake up and realize what you are missing, and recognize what you lack.
