The fortunate ones who found the path of Sanathana Dharma

Sanātana Dharma is the eternal path, a highway without obstruction. We are fortunate to have found it under the shelter of our lineage. The essential discovery is the object of our meditation. The Guru is the central figure. A master is like a lit candle and a disciple an unlit one. When the unlit candle meets the burning one, light is transmitted; the disciple becomes the master. This is why it was said that those who understand the Guru become Gurudeva. Therein lies the critical difference between a guru and a paras stone. A paras stone turns iron into gold, but a guru transforms the disciple into a guru. That is the fundamental distinction.

"The master is that candle which is already lit. The disciple is that candle which is still not lit. On the day when this candle which is not lit will come to that candle which is burning, you will get the light; the disciple will become the master."

"Those who understand the Guru, they become themselves Gurudeva."

We are fortunate ones, or you are the fortunate one, that you have found the path of Sanātana Dharma. Sanātana Dharma is like a highway without traffic lights. Gulābjī and Kulisjī taught me one day, "Swāmījī, Sanātana Dharma is like a highway." But these people do not understand. Well, what can we do about it? That is a unique thing. We are under the shelter of Mahāprabhujī in our divine spiritual lineage. Why do you need more? We have found that husband, which is the name for our sūtra, our object of meditation. Swāmī Śivānandajī of Ṛṣikeś writes: "The master is that candle which is already lit. The disciple is that candle which is still not lit. On the day when this candle which is not lit will come to that candle which is burning, you will get the light; the disciple will become the master." That is why Gurujī said his last words, on the last Guru Pūrṇimā before he passed away: "Those who understand the Guru, they become themselves Gurudeva." In that final satsaṅg on Guru Pūrṇimā, Gurujī said that when a person becomes a guru, he becomes a true guru. Therefore, there is a difference between a guru and a paras stone. That is why there is a difference between a guru and a stone, a paras. A paras turns iron into gold. A paras does not turn iron into a paras, but a guru makes the disciple a guru. That is the difference. This is the difference. This is the difference. God of light, God of death, God of death, God of death, God of death, God of death, God of death.
