Our Partner is PARABRAHMATMA

A spiritual discourse on the art of surrender and divine union.

"We shall dedicate our entire being and be surrendered in the hands of the Divine."

"A partner cannot come while searching. Who is searching will not find. And who is not searching will find."

The speaker delivers a teaching using metaphors of clay being shaped by a master potter and a river merging into the ocean to illustrate total surrender to the Divine. He discusses overcoming the ego's resistance, warns against negative thinking, and explains that true Self-realization is like an indissoluble marriage or merger with the supreme consciousness, advising patience and destiny over active search.

Recording location: Czech Republic, Strilky, Summer seminar

We shall dedicate our entire being and be surrendered in the hands of the Divine. There are people with great talent for making pottery and ceramics. But the earth, the clay, surrenders itself into the hands of the potter. It lets itself be bent and worked as the potter likes. Then that pottery becomes a masterpiece. There are ceramic vases that may be very old, yet their value and price are so high none of us can buy them. It is just a small pot, so expensive none can afford it. And what is it? It is just earth, nothing else. But that earth went through the hands of the master. It went through the fire. It went through the forming, and now it stands in a museum under high security. That is how it is. So, that is how surrender, confidence, and letting things be as they should be works. Then you will see what will come. The ego will say no. Suddenly negative thoughts will come. And you will begin to talk to others about negative things. Many people are thinking negative and talking negative even during the seminar. So Mahāprabhujī said in his Gītā, such people are like an iron spoon which is in the halvā or in the pudding but cannot enjoy the taste of the halvā. Such people may smile, they may laugh, but they cannot have the taste of spirituality. Only we will have the taste of the honey. Others will be allergic to it. Flower dust, so they are allergic to spirituality. They are not bees. So you are all masterpieces. You are that bee which creates the sweet life. So few days, only a few days are left. And I wish that you utilize these few days. These days we can count in hours. We are not here just to enjoy eating and sleeping, and we are not here searching for a partner. And if you search for a partner, maybe that will be the wrong one. It will come. A partner cannot come while searching. Who is searching will not find. And who is not searching will find. So don't worry, one day you may find, when you are 80 years, 90 years, yes. The main thing is that you find. That is your part, and your part is your partner, and your part is that supreme one. That is what we are trying to get: a relationship, to be a partner with that. And that is Self-realization. In English they say marriage. Marriage means merge. And when you merge in, it's united. When it is merged, then it cannot be separated. But what you are doing, you want to get divorced. It means you didn't merge. When we brought the iron and the paras stone together, still the iron didn't turn into gold. Why? Either the paras is not real, or there was some separation; it didn't come completely together. So it didn't unite completely. When the river merges into the ocean, and then after a while the river said, "No, I don't want, he is too salty," it cannot go out again. So if you have a question of getting divorced, now what do you want to divorce? The divorce is coming from the word "to divorce." But after merging, there is no divorce, only a river. And that river's destination is the ocean. And so our partner is Param Brahma. So it will come one day, maybe when we are 60, 70, 80, 90. If not this life, next life also. That's what Mahāprabhujī said in one of his bhajans, "Gaṇadīn Bhaḍkī Rām Kanyā Kāvarī Nār," this bhajan. That means that our suratā, our consciousness, other kinds of marriage, and all this is trouble. And the marriage life could be very beautiful, very happy, perfect, harmonious, but where? That's it. That will only happen when it should be. It should not happen out of emotion, but it should happen out of destiny. Just wait. Don't try, don't search, and if it doesn't come, be happy, that's good, you are the lucky one. --- Recording location: Czech Republic, Strilky, Summer seminar
